Used it for years . Moved away a bit so its not as convenient. Called back as our local one was shut. Still the best one though imo.

Have been going to this family run Chinese Takeout for years. The food portion is enough to feed two people easily. I chop and change my food order but I especially love the Chicken & Beef in Black Bean Sauce with Green Peppers & Mushrooms (as pictures show) with boiled rice! Family members are sooooo friendly and happy to change up the meal to your choice, but either way the food change IT IS BURSTING OUT OF THE LIDS FULL OF A TASTY MEAL! Once you make order over phone, they give a rough time for pickup and piping hot ALWAYS! Special Curry is a great choice Chicken Satay ✔️ It is a hidden gem 💎 off fisherman square, a cash only service!

Great food from here tonight and OMG the portion sizes are that big they can't even get the lids on properly 😁😁

If I could rate 0 stars for the food I would. This was the most disappointing Chinese meal we've ever ordered. Everything was covered in grease and everything tasted of dirty grease with zero flavour. Almost all of this went in the bin and we ordered different food because we just couldn't make ourselves eat it. Will not be returning and I do not recommend.

Fantastic takeaway that doesn't skimp on portion size. You get loads of what you order and a great description if you're not sure what's what when ordering. It's a bit hidden, but well worth hunting for. You won't be disappointed.

Haven't been there for many years as we moved house but a last minute choice called again for old times sake!! Never let me down good food again.

Lots of explanation of dishes, loads of choice, really tasty food and more than you'd expect from a takeaway. Highly recommend this little gem.

Never had a bad meal from there yet, they are so polite, and the portions are so big, they can't close the lids on the containers, and the food is very tasty and top quality, highly recommended!

1st time we have used this chinese takeaway. Staff friendly and helpful (shop difficult to find as it is located behind the fishermans cottages), order was correct, food hot and tasty, we got duck curry and satay chicken, we will certainly go back

There was 2 hairs in the chow mien , a bone in the salt and pepper chicken , satay chicken wasn’t even edible and was pink, worst Chinese I’ve ever had.

We used to use years ago. Never short on quantity of food. Always thought chips and chicken were dry tbh but we kept going back. But absolutely soooo disappointed at tonight's meal. Everything tasted of dirty grease, the prawn crackers even had no prawn taste, just grease. It's no good giving good portions if it's not good. Wonder why also in this day and age no card or mobile phone app payments. Cash only??? Come on get with the times. Husband ended up with his alloys scraped badly at bank detouring to get cash. Fair enough for those of you who'll no doubt say what's that got to do with the service. But come on why no card reader for gods sake. Its standard for most businesses.

Awesome food, king do special and chicken balls in batter with curry sauce. Excellent service as always, very tasty, never an issue with any of the food from this place. Easily the best Chinese in the area.

It has been a while since I had a Chinese takeaway, but always used the New King Wah, called in on the spur of a moment and the food is still as good as I recall with the same friendly counter staff. A hidden gem tucked round the corner from Fisherman's square.

An excellent traditional carry out, Lovely food good portions great service and always still hot when served. The chop suey rolls are a real fine additional treat.

The duck chow mein was delicious. The meat was tender and the portion sizes for all our dishes was extremely generous! Excellent, friendly service - well worth our little wander around the back streets of Redcar to find it 😀 Recommended!

This is the worst Chinese I have ever had in my entire life (This is no exaggeration). The noodles were watery and tasteless, the salt and pepper chips are raw and taste nothing like salt and pepper and the sweet and sour sauce costs £2.10 and when you take out all the pointless veg inside the tub you only het half a tub plus that also tastes nothing like what it should. Not happy at all and to top it all off, I had to waste my petrol to get there and pick it up. No happy.

No messing about with portion size here. You’ll be full before you get the lid to lay flat in the tray. Quality doesn’t suffer for quantity. Very juicy meat in my chow mein. Lovely friendly lady serving. Can be found down a small street/alley.

This was recommended to us yesterday 11/07/21 and I can recommend it to others. Delicious special curry and chop suey rolls. Very generous portions, fried rice a bit too dark for my liking but that’s personal taste. Very reasonable too

I have been using this place since 1970's and the food is always good For me the portions are good and taste great.In my opinion the best Chinese food around. Special chop suey with fried rice.chopd and curry 1st class.

First time going here today, well set up for covid regulations. Excellent meal, really good portions, definitely reccomend and woul use again without any hesitation.

My nanna used to live on Maple Square, just down the alley. Always used to go on a saturday for chips! That was in the 80's! Still there, brilliant food and great portions.

My order was the last one before they shut at 10 tonight and i couldent believe the state off it. Absoloutly disgusting beef chow main was not cooked it was pink. The beef that was in there anyway not a lot. Mostly noodles the only nice bit was the chips never will i order from here again worst chinese ive ever had and ive had alot off chinese 😮 mega greasy to disgusting

Wow !! Hide away down ally of unknown of little busy Chinese takeaway shop . Was pack with people so had go see for my self and try find out what was dark secret of this place ?? I notice it cash only !! Mmm make me wonder so I entry ,all people turn they head look at me and I foze .but had keep cool .walk you to desk .sweet little lady look at me and she noticed I was English and deaf .she talk cleaned for me to understand her &take my order .sat down and watch poeple coming and going with big ordered .soon it my turn to get order .got it head home could smell rich food just hope it good as it smell . Got home I open up food to my shock how much food I got for price I pay and I enjoy every bite I taking !! It was best ever Chinese I had !! Now I know dark secret of that ally !!!🤣😂
