New inn in Maldon

Eaten here many times, always hot when it arrives. Would recommend the 1/4 duck, and the salt and chilli chips are amazing. Worth every penny!

Found load of hairs in my food I would not recommend

Brilliant food, good prices and hot on delivery! There are a good selection of veggie options but the salt and chilli tofu is to die for.

I loved the food , ask for the special Chinese jelly , it’s off the menu but it’s delicious as a dessert . So fresh and tasty . Eaten here for many years . The best Chinese in town !! The ribs are killer !

What a load of rubbish, had spare ribs seen more meat on a butchers pencil, special fried rice we’ll see rice, and a couple of prawns, nothing else, prawn toast was terrible, sure if was frozen bread with sesame seeds on top, no flavours at all in any dishes, I will go as far as to say Iceland food is a lot better than that, what a waste of time and money, won’t be returning!!!!!!!

Very disappointing meal tonight, recipes or chef must have changed as ordered lots of times before but tonight was dire. Won Ton soup so sweet like syrup, prawns over cooked and chicken chow mein that was mainly huge chunks of onion. Rang them to speak to someone and a very rude lady arguing that it was fresh. She said a free dish next order, won’t be happening, not ordering from them again. Definitely not recommending.

Ordered first takeaway. Not impressed Seafood plater shrimps not prawns ,Seafood sticks not crab . Prawns in garlic basically pakchoi. Food was tasteless. You live and learn my last order from them I'll stick to the gardenia in tiptree excellent food

Got my order wrong. Ordered for collection special chow main and got special fried rice. Also had a pancake roll which was burnt and soggy. In fairness, I didn’t want to wait any longer to eat so I didn’t complain so they didn’t have chance to put it right,

The food was nice. However, the delivery driver asked for payment for the food, so we paid him. 30 minutes later, we were called asking to make a payment over the phone as well. We stated to the caller that we have already paid. Though we felt pressured and distrusted. During our meal, we received another call, but this time, it was from the driver stating the wrong home address. He apologised but this disturbed our evening again. So overall we did not enjoy our experience from ordering from the New Inn.

I have been eating at this takeaway for a long time now and in my opinion right now that this is the best Chinese takeaway ever in Maldon , because the service is really good and the food is really tasteful , and the delivery is always on time .

One of the top places to get takeaway from in the whole of Maldon. They are friendly, accommodating, fast and reliable.

Great food, best Chinese in maldon for sure.

We have regularly had a take away from the new wok inn over the past few years. We have never been disappointed. We are a bit fussy but they are really helpful and we are always happy with the food. I genuinely can't understand why there are negative reviews.

If you like an overpowering amount of salt, and no other taste, then this is the place for you. Also, an hour and a half wait and most of it in the bin. Cannot recommend.

This is the 2nd take away in a month from there and will not be reordering again. We went there as our normal place had a 2 hr wait and we had friends over, next time I will be waiting.

Absolutely fantastic food, very tasty, freshly prepared. Very nice crispy chill beef, sweet and sour chicken, big fat spring rolls, kind prawns. Best takeaway for me 🙂

My family and I were extremely disappointed with this meal as not one dish had any flavour at all, compared to many of the other Chinese takeaways in the area. Almost all of it was thrown away due to it being uneatable, would not recommend

Ordered a takeaway £35 worth . Most of it ended up in the bin. A dreadful tasting vegetable had been added to most of the dishes where you could expect been shoots etc. It seems that the quality of the food has declined. Very disappointing.

Hectic service. Kept taking calls even although they couldn't keep up with the orders. Food was very nice and fresh hence an extra star BUT what did concern me was the 5 star hygiene rating on the wall dated 2011!!!! Looking in the kitchen it was filthy and doors were covered in dirty ground in hand prints. Why are they showing a 5 STAR rating from 8years ago when they get a new rating every year??

Not even worth one star but had to click it to be able to post this!!!!! Absolutely awful! Not been the first time we have ordered for delivery and been told an hour for delivery and it's been nearly 3 hours!!! Joke!!! Lady on phone so rude and hanging up on us when we keep ringing to ask where it is.. All they can offer is 10% discount would not recommend. Rubbish service!!!
