New Golden Bridge in Merthyr Tydfil

Was charged twice for an order, automatic refund was initiated and received. Order placed following week and they cancelled the order stating I didn’t pay for the last lot! Offered to prove that the payment went through as I had proof, owner was very rude and refused to admit fault or that there was an issue with their system, order cancelled by them would never go here again appalling customer service!

Our order was missing a meal item. Phoned to tell them and was asked if we wanted the missing meal tonight or next week. I said tonight as I had paid and ordered it..... Reply.....don't bite my head off I only asked you. Very confrontational and unpleasant no need. Won't be ordering again. Asked to speak to management and was told they only speak Chinese and she hung up. Lovely service ...not. Lost a customer to awful customer service.

This is the first time we have had a meal from new golden bridge Chinese take away Trelewis, we were not disappointed, quality great and good value for money, only it could have been a little hotter. Thanks 👍🏻

Have been buying food from here for years.during lockdown I was also ordering food for my neighbours. I live in 4a and they live in 4b.i have also recommended golden bridge to my friends in bedlinog. Ordered food tonight at 7.20 .at 8.20 I rang to ask where was my food.the owner of golden bridge then proceeded to shout and scream at me Unknown to me my son a few months ago had complained about food from golden bridge.have given them a lot of custom.my son does not live with me now.food and service always been good.enjoy your food from golden bridge but a word of advice..dont ever complain as you will have the owner screaming at you.

Very quick delivery lush good it my favourite Chinese only moved up here 2 weeks tryed a few places but this is amazing going to be my to go to Chinese know xx

Got the order wrong and couldn't care less that they did. Items missing. "We are busy we'll give them to you when you next order". The food is usually very nice but this is not the way to treat customers. Unprofessional, the manager wouldn't even come on the phone. "You've spoiled the meal of someone completely, as their sauces are missing and they don't like it dry". They offered to give another sauce if we ordered again. The sauce was part of of a meal so if I ordered that meal again I'd get it free anyway. They simply didn't care they souled someone's night and took his money. They wouldn't offer him as much as a free can of pop, so they are cheap.

Been going to this Chinese for years and was worth the trip from caerphilly.... Until i found a caterpillar in my food!!! called shop they refused to refund my order only the dish that the caterpillar was found in. Even though i couldn't eat my meal and threw the whole lot out. Disgusting and poor customer service.

So far, we have only had very good meals here.
