New Franklyns Bar in North Lanarkshire

Absolutely delicious. The chef is amazing definitely return for more . Had a lovely meal with family and friends

Went to Franklyns today with my friend, I had the macaroni cheese, my friend had the chicken burger. Before I even tasted it I new it was going to be delicious, it looked just as macaroni cheese should look, oozing with cheese, crispy on the top. It didn’t disappoint, to say it was the best I’ve ever tasted, is understated, it was FANTASTIC. ( and what a portion). My friend said her burger was delicious too. She didn’t leave anything on her plate, so I’ll take her word. I will definitely be back soon. See you there.

Staying at a nearby hotel, so was looking for some local grub, with a decent down to earth atmosphere. Food was absolutely lovely, had to eat at the bar as they had a function on, which was absolutely no issue for us. Still a good atmosphere. Fantastic value for money, couldn't have asked for better. Definitely recommend, even if just after a drink and staying.local

Stopped in for lunch, good selection of food on the menu and fast service. Good really tasty and good value for money

Food was fist class, as were the bar staff. All food is homemade 3 course Sunday dinner for £9.95 excellent value. We shall return to have a meal again. Our server was very helpful nothing was to much for her. Thanks to the Chef also great cook.

So I think Billy the chef feeds me more than I feed me,, his foods amazing. I have some nasty food allergies & he always goes over & above to make sure I’m safe with his meals. I can’t thank him enough!

This is a good pub with nice restaurant attached. Its unfortunate that the majority of the bar staff smoke and gamble on horses so you may have to wait some time to get served. This apart most staff are friendly and humerous and the locals mainly play pool or keep themselves to themselves The beer when you get it is good though

Hadn’t been here for a long while and decided to give the place a visit and we were pleasantly surprised with the service and food. We both had a main and sweet and cannot find a fault. Portions were massive and cooked to perfection and prices were really good compared to other places nearby. Will be back and would highly recommend to all to give New Franklyns a go😁

Food tasted lovely, staff rude , would not accommodate anything kept saying the chef won’t be happy! Miserable woman with a terrible attitude, shouldn’t be working with the public!!

Been here a few times and food was always nice, but think they have a new chef and the food was absolutely fantastic. The pakora was the nicest I’ve tasted in my life and the macaroni was absolutely delicious. My sons who are very hard to please loved the steak pie, they said it was cooked to perfection. Definitely be back and think it will be my new regular for eating out.

Dinner was amazing and the girl Lisa, served every1 a 3 course meal as well as drinks without fault, totally outstanding

Been at this restraunt twice this week food amazing lasange also the mac cheese are great cooked fresh also my daughter had the fjitas witch was also very tasty compliments to the chef .

Popped in for a quick lunch, starter of garlic mushrooms on ciabatta bread and for my main it was steak pie. Both were absolutely superb and a set price of £8 Definately recommend it if your out for a tasty no frills lunch

Hadn't been into Franklin's since new owners took over but glad we eventually tried it the food was fantastic, pub could do with being updated but the meals are fab all home cooked and very fresh

First time, won't be my last I was with my Grandson(1) who the staff made a fuss over which he enjoyed, the food was of a good standard and good selection with a good selection for kids and the price is reasonable, only one thing wrong,I got the fish which was nice but I found the plate a bit small, that's why I have given it a 4, looking forward to going back.
