food arrived withing 30 minutes which I thought was great. Except it was cold and soggy and un enable :(

Would definitely use again,,, if you live in Coatbridge use this chippy,, food arrived hot and on time ,,

Couldn’t eat the food, overly greasy and the batter tasted weird. Very disappointed as usually fabulous

Food was top tier. U called to make an adjustment to my order and it was no problem for the owner rectify it fir me. Really friendly. 100% recommend the fritters!!!!

Black pudding was cold, went in the bin. Ordered chips cheese and curry sauce, got chips n cheese swimming in grease with a tub of bisto gravy again in the bin, chicken nuggets wer clearly a bag of 100 for a fiver types, Onion rings were ok but could probably thank Farmfoods for them haha

I ordered 2 pieces of fish and a roll on hamburger, the fish and the box it was in was swimming in grease, the bottom of the roll that had the burger on it was unrecognisable because of grease! .... avoid at all costs.

Fish was full of bones and battered sausage was so greasy and chips were not good at . It turned out to be unedible at all . This was our first time ordering from here a will never order again really disappointed 😔

Food was brilliant and ready really quickly! We tried one of the chippy boxes which was great value for money. Curry sauce was lovely.

Chips where white, hard and undercooked. Pizza crunch was soggy and also undercooked.

Myself my partner and my brother ordered from here last night we got 2 chippy boxes. And all three of us have been running 🏃‍♂️ back and forth to the toilet 🚻

The fish was cooked to perfection and the peas and curry sauce were fine. The chips and fritters were a greasy mush. They were inedible. They hadn’t even been browned and for 70p per fritter I expected a decent sized fried crisp battered slice of potato. You let your self down with this which is annoying as the special fish was excellent

Fish was best I’ve had in a long time

Fish was pure batter. No instructions followed. Full fish supper, like Happy Chippy or Tonis is 2 fish with chips. This was one slim, flavourless batter with a hint of fish. Last ever order Rocco.

10/10 absolute fantastic value for money. The meal was piping hot arrived on time and amazing. The delivery driver is absolutely second to none and is a credit.

Need to make sure that the food is still not dripping of grease ie out the fryer into box before packing fish over cooked

Best chip shop around easily taking over from Senors Cairnhill and Chapelhall (good also) all my friends and family are now fans of Calderbank's and New Number 1. I got given the heads up a few months back and not looked back since. My new go to Chippie

I order every week and yesterday I Ordered a large order and it was all absolutely delicious. The sausages were super yummy and the fish was delicious. My go to chippy!

Do not order from here. Very poor food. Not cooked properly and tastes as tho the cooking it has went through was in a fryer with oil that hasn’t been renewed in about 6 months. Very disappointing. Will not order from here again.

Absolutely disgusting, got a two fish supper and both of the fish I got were riddled with bones big and small I thought I might have been just one part of the fish but no it was very bite I had I was pulling little bones out my mouth this take away had a 5 star rating on just eat but I can tell you they do not deserve that at all 100% the worst chippy I have ever ordered from

Fast delivery and even received a free bottle of juice! But food was unfortunately vile and was a big order for 6 people and everything went in the bin as everything was under cooked

Food was here promptly but unfortunately when we opened the box the food was greasy and soggy the fritters were under cooked and there was a puddle of grease left in the box when we took out our food

This was terrific, everything you'd want in a chippy. This area doesn't have any good chip shops as the other shop use batter that's hard and jaggy. The batter here is delicious as are the chips, which were sensational. Also, the prices are very fair. They don't want £9.50 for a fish supper.

Fancied a wee steak pie and chips last night. Haven’t ordered from here before but it was absolutely delicious. The pastry was crisp and the chips were lovely. Delivered by a smiley friendly driver and bang on time. Will be ordering from here again.

food arrived early which was ideal. chips had not a single bit of salt or vinegar on them. sausage was quite cold and the fritters were basically sponges full of grease couldnt believe how much grease was in them. they also forgot my cans of juice which was re delivered. wasnt terrible but il definetely try a different chippy next time

Just went to this wee place after a walk around the nature trails in Calderbank. Only got a portion of chips, but they were amazing, best I've had for a long time. Reminded of the chips I used to get from chip shops when I was a kid. This is a rare wee gem of a place. I will definitely be back! Btw the portion I got was bigger than the what's in the picture I have taken....I already ate some.

The greasiest food I’ve ever had! Everything was dripping with grease, Most of it went in the bin, also king rib was still frozen in the middle and batter was watery and undercooked! Would never order again!

Was in today for the first time. The fritters are the best I've ever had from any chip shop ever. Chicken burger was lovely fish and sausage were also very enjoyable. Prices are great fish isn't the biggest but £4 for a1xfish supper it is excellent value if you're hungry a 2xfish supper is £5.90. This is a cracking chip shop and we will most definitely be back.

No white puddings,should put me off straight away got steak pie supper chips yummy steak pie pastry burned black bits yucky gave to dogs ate chips.not a great experience won't be using again even of I'm desperate 😠

Used golden dry as my Sunday dinner to avoid cooking first time using this chip shop. Really good chips! Very friendly staff. Ordered haggis supper, black pudding supper and pizza. All were great! Definitely recommend.

First time using this chip shop and oh my goodness chips are amazing also everything else we ordered we enjoyed. Great delivery time food was still hot, even got salt and vinager on meals after asking for it. The owner is a lovely lady a pleasure to talk to and to meet. Will be making this chip shop my regular sin treat
