Long wait times. Watery food. Chewy beef. Rice appears to be packet microwave rice. Would not recommend.

Batter on prawn balls raw inside. Informed them and got a new delivery. Batter still raw inside. Spoke to them again about it and extremely rude lady on the phone started ranting at me

If I could give it a minus I would. King prawn ball batter was completely raw inside. I was told the prawns were pre cooked (big no no). Also asked what experience I had in the food industry. Very rude and put the phone down on me. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Haha great response! Let's see what the food standard agency has to say....

First time ordering but not the last. Tasty food and generous portions, very friendly and helpful staff.

Very disappointed with this take away ordered for at 5:30pm for delivery at 7:30pm and didn't get a delivery at all having rung them constantly for an hour trying to get through to them.

Best chinese I've had in a while

Great value and great tasting food, I have now eaten from here enough times to say that the staff are always friendly both on pick up and delivery, and we live in an awkward place!

2 stars because chicken balls were very nice and also a big portion otherwise I'd give it a 1 star. Rest of the food was tasteless and it's not good value for money in my opinion.

Good food, was craving chines so first time ordering from here, it was delivered under 45 mins and was nice and hot and went down a treat.

Absolutely fantastic. We are here on holiday in Brecon and didn’t fancy cooking. Driver was amazing. Found our farm no bother. Food was delicious. Going to pop. 😃

First they got my order wrong, the portions are half the size of other Chinese, the chicken didn't resemble chicken in test or texture, the food was tasteless, with the cheapest of ingredients, horrible. Worst Chinese I have ever had and very expensive.

This is our regular go to takeaway restaurant. Great meal, great customer service and fantastic delivery times too!

First time ordering from the New Dragon and it was superb. I made an error ordering twice online and they happily refunded my money which I was ever so grateful for as the order had already been cooked. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend.

can hands down say best chinese food in brecon. if you’re craving a takeaway, food from here will just tick your boxes ! just very nice each time and for a busy takeaway doing hundreds of meal a day, they deliver on quality, service and consistency. highly recommend!

Had a laugh over the fake reviews owner don't change. Had a stag weekend in the beacons black mountain activity ordered a large take-a-way £130 food was on time and hot. sweet and sour chicken balls are huge as are the chip portions, I ordered 1/4 duck and pancakes got 1/2 duck and pancakes not sure if I was charged for them. The only criticism if have is that my father broke his tooth on a chip after sustaining no injuries at the activity centre

The owner of this takeaway is very rude and bullies the staff, they keeps putting you down and keeps shouting saying 'you are doing rubbish work' and all.

If you’ve thinking of having a delivery from this restaurant don’t bother!! We placed our order on just eat @ 18:30 received it @ 20.35, they changed our delivery times three times only because they had already received our payment and thought we’ll serve everyone that comes into the takeaway first!! I wouldn’t really say we enjoyed the food once we got it. Cannot understand if they can’t meet the delivery time don’t take the order!!!

Last take away was horrible I had to put everything in the bin really disappointed 😢 my husband said no more it’s a waste of money 😢😢😡

Poor take away food. Ordered a delivery that was 20 minutes late. Food was cold, duck was over cooked, really dry. Pancakes were missing any veg, the chicken satay had sauce that was glued to bits of chicken. Most of this went in the bin. Avoid.

I had a lovely meal from here it was the best Curry and the food was on time exellent staff and a excellent food I recommend this place

Expensive and underwhelming… some dishes are served with rice but no info given so you end up with double portions. Prawn toasts ridiculously expensive for an average dish. Making the list if a captive market.

I like the food from here… sometimes quality is not consistent probably due to different chefs BUT there’s no way I’m paying £5.45 for a portion of bean sprouts … be they in Oyster Sauce or not! Really feel it’s time to review the prices.

I have always had beautiful food from here, well worth every penny, thank you for some stunning food as always, this time I had barbecue spare ribs in barbecue sauce, Singapore fried rice, chips, chicken balls and curry sauce, was stuffed after this feast

Waiting over 2 hours for our order to be delivered. Absolutely ridiculous kept saying 10 minutes. And food was terrible.

Me and my family ordered £70 worth of food and it was all absolutely amazing. We didn't have a single bad thing to say about the food and we agreed we'd definitely be ordering more in the future

Food is pretty good, however on both occasions I didn't receive my full order, and didn't receive any money back. If ordering for delivery, order small.

Took 2 hours 15 mins to come and when it finally arrived my order was missing a good portion of the meal tried ringing the shop to no answer the food that did come was nice its the lack of service thats disappointing. Shame i had to write a review like this

We have only started having meals from the New Dragon Chinese takeaway. On the 3 meals we have had they were delicious , hot , faultless. Delivery was give or take 5 minutes which is excellent. Look forward to ordering again this week

Had a lovely takeaway from here whilst staying in Brecon last month. Good portion sizes, tasty food, but not the cheapest Chinese takeaway we've had.

Items missing, rang in and the lady on the phone went to speak to the boss, who was ranting in the background accusing me of being a liar, her and the bloke refused to come to the phone. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED at the woman's response i could hear everything she said about me! All over a missing house special curry and egg fried rice! no customer values whatsoever! They are very lucky they have a lovely lady on the counter and delivery driver who are the face of the business, the owners attitude stinks! left my number for an apology.... no phone call!

We order from this place on Just Eat like every week, we order different dishes every week I think its about time it deserved a rating and to be fair every single time we've ordered food no matter how much or little they have always accepted the order in seconds and the order is always earlier than what it says on the Just Eat App. Delivery is fast and friendly, best Chinese in brecon most probably. Got a free pack of curry samosas as well haha

WARNING!!! All reviews on here from over a year old are for the previous takeaway which was 88 Cantonese and is run by different owners.

We have had three takeaways from here since it opened and each has been very good quality. I particularly like how fresh everything seems, like the luscious big prawns, tasty duck and Cantonese style, and the food is not heavy or stodgy. The free delivery always comes on time and is so convenient. I hope the standard and prices stay as they are and will be continue to be a regular customer.
