Ordered chicken curry & rice, curry sauce very wartery , far too many onions, hardly any chicken, may as well called it onion curry. On the plus side rice was nice. Will not order again.

Avoid at all costs we have had 100’s of Chinese takeout over the years bye few the worst we have EVER had. Food was disgusting.

use to go there a few years ago until i found a fish eyeball in my chinese. thought i would give them another chance this evening, i really shouldn't have bothered it's like they are not bothered about there own business the food tasted awful . will never go back

Shocking Do Not Order FROM HERE

Absolute shower for s%@#*e.. order was half an hour late, on just eat.. It was not my order that arrived... order was swopped and was still not correct for the 2nd time. Order was cancelled.. heard lots of arguing on the phone between staff n manager... heard them say " what are they complaining about,they are getting it for free" we chucked the food that had been delivered as it was cold and had to order from else where... definitely will not be recommending or going back.

Ordered 2 hours ago and still no delivery,had the same experience 2 months ago ,all you get told when you ring up is it’s in its way ,golden phoenixe Hardys Road from now on !!

Ordered twice but only because I forgot they was the ones responsible for the first time. First time food arrived after two hours, was cold and very poor quality. Second time after a two hour wait they called to ask if I could pick it up and then cancelled the order when I refused. Avoid at all costs

My first order got declined and my bank told me to reorder as payment had not been taken. I used an alternative card to continue with my order. When my order came, it was too late to notice, but they delivered me double my order and had taken payment from my card that got declined. This is concerning as they must of retried my card without my knowledge or permission. I would avoid this business.

Ordered food at 4.44pm was waitimg 1.5 hours to then ring up to be.told it was getting packed and on way at 6.15 called back up at 6.35 after waiting another 20 minuets to be then told it would be another 20 minutes then to be told to come pick it up my self .. so cancelled food altogether what a waste of time never ever woukd i order from this place again absolutly shocking and rude !!!!!!!!! Dont waste your time people dont even deserve 1 star rating

placed order told upto an hour delivery, man United v Chelsea game including half time later phoned up to find out where delivery is and it's not even done yet. order cancelled

Very very poor quality of food, bought 4 dishes and about 5 pieces of meat in each and rest dishes all onions and peppers, sauces not good either and portion size half thr small containers filled. Felt disgusted by quality and portion size. Dishes should called onion dishes never seen so much in them to cover the fact no meat! Called to complain and just asked to use another chinese, they do not care. I will never use them again and hope nobody else does either, total waste of money. I repeat do not use this chinese, major disappointment.

Wish I could give it zero stars!!! Ordered from here for the 1st - & last time tonight - the mixed grill had 1 piece of meat, which I think was some sort of steak, a piece of bacon and 2 of the cheapest sausages you can buy...chips were undercooked - but there were a lot of them 🤷‍♂️...truly awful - and I dont mind Vegas grill, that's how bad it is!

We ordered a takeaway tonight for delivery the delivery was ten minutes late first of all. Then when the food arrived some of the order was missing. We rang the shop and the man said he would ring us back with how the missing bits was going to be delivered. Heard nothing for ten minutes so rang them back again the man started shouting swearing and laughed at us. He also Told us to go to hospital and Our heads tested! Our food was stone cold so we said we want it reordering or a refund he just put the phone down! Absolutely discusting customer service so we never received he food or a refund!

Awful.....Orange chicken:: Sticks of fried rock hard something on a bed of pineapple with a tub of lemon water! Special friend rice was basically fried rice ....appalling... 1st and last time

Placed and order at 7pm for pick up - sat in the shop still waiting for my food. It’s now 8.20. This guy can’t tell time it’s the longest ten minutes I’ve ever waited. Instead of taking more orders he should fulfil the ones he has. Food order received at 8.30, order not correct but really don’t want to wait another hour and half to get the mushrooms in my curry that I ordered. The quality of the food was good and tasty however it would of been nice if it was hot. All in all not a good experience won’t be returning again.

Difficult entrance if in a wheelchair. Better to ring order in and then pick up. There is a delivery service

After visiting many in the town this is in my opinion the best. Reasonably priced with a high standard of food.

They don’t even deserve one star! Unfortunately 0 star rating wasn’t available. Food was over 2.5 hours late and after not picking up their phone despite 44 attempts to call them. Disgraceful!

My wife and I wanted to like these meals, as ordered. However, we were disappointed in what was provided. The Boiled Rice was just fine. The Chicken Chow Mein noodles were dry, but other contents more or less okay. The vegetables in the Shanghai garlic king prawns were undercooked. Another minute in the wok and they would have been perfect. The Sweet and Sour Pork Balls were simply atrocious, the worst we have ever purchased. Four of these were left untouched. The pork was very dry and overcooked and the batter was tough/leathery. The pork pieces were far too large, meaning that the overall effect, with the layer of batter added, meant something that needed cutting down to size before it could be placed in the mouth. Hardly what one would expect. The prep work on the vegetables could not be faulted, but the cooking left a lot to be desired. It all felt as tho they had rushed, which is a shame. With so many outlets to choose from locally, we will not be giving this establishment a second chance.

WAs so pleased to have found a lovely chinese. ..Unfortunately since it has been taken over absolutely disgusting I may as well of put my money in the bin !!

I used this Chinese for 5 years before it changed hands now ....Waited nearly an hour for 2 curries sat in there constantly being told its coming, bland and fatty meat never again !!
