First time for fish and chips, perfect. Fish dinner eight pounds but huge portion. Well done.

Tried this for the first time and had the salt and pepper chicken which was lovely and fresh,hot and the chicken tender. Also ordered veg satay which was lovely too. Staff very friendly and nice. Will definitely be back.

The mixed meat Cantonese style was always the best you could get, now it’s chewy thin bits of meat like the shredded dishes

Great food lovely service and friendly staff.

Ordered a chicken chow mean (pun intended) consisted of a layer of soggy vegetables at the bottom, with the noodles sitting on top of the veg(without any soy sauce etc.) and finally a few clumps of bland boiled chicken just sitting on top. It was so bad we put it back in the tray and returned it next day only to be refused a refund. When I pointed out the obvious that no way a Chinese chef would ever have cooked this, the lady behind the desk did admit I was right and after a bit of a stand off I was offered a new chow mien , which I refused and settled with the safer fried rice , chips and curry sauce. To be as busy as this take away is there’s no excuse for the sloppy service. It’s the “Happy Valley” from now on.

Meal for 2 food was excellent large portions could easy do 3 friendly staff worth every penny also had fish supper 2 portion of fish plenty chips well enough for 2

This was my first disappointing visit and very unusual. I only ordered fried food and arrived and paid just after I was told it would be ready. I paid when I arrived. 25 minutes later, I was still standing, waiting for my food. Staff couldn't be more apologetic. The food was piping hot and tasted fantastic.

This is my first review ever and I just felt I had to do it as it's the worst Chinese I have ever had - had to put it in the bin!

Asked for shredded chicken with honey and chilli sauce, was told this was not possible. Also asked for no vegetables which was ignored. Food was almost cold by the time I got home (15min). Clearly pre-cooked and portioned then microwaved by the way the chicken was all soggy and the veg glued onto the chicken. Very disappointing. Prawn crackers were quite good though

Food OK but they have put there price up and have also Cut portions size... Plus beef curry has loads of onions but hardly any beef ... So sad.. Plus they keep getting my order wrong multiple times.they don't listen or even care they just walk away from you.. I don't mind the price hike but I hate the fact they're penny pinching on the portions...

First time here. Passing through perth about 6pm on 27.10.18. Very busy place as its a chippy too. Ordered beef curry with mushroom. Worst curry I've ever had. Tasteless, no heat whatsoever. Basically beef and mushroom in a slightly yellowish gravy. Seen on other reviews that this is best curry in perth. Wouldnt like to try the worst. Awful, awful, awful. On a positive note the staff were good, but curry is tasteless. Poor show

Best Chinese in Perth (I think) Everything is hot and made fresh , the Chinese meals taste authentic and delicious and unlike some Chinese take away the chip shop part is delicious too.

My first time at the new diamond and we were not left disappointed. I see myself as a bit of a curry aficionado and this was spot on. We'll definitely be back for more.

That was by far the worst Meal I have had from there, I go there all the time for my Chinese and can never fault it! Tonight on the other hand the curry sauce tasted like it had been cooked with nuts, I asked for no veg in my chicken fried rice and it came with peas and onions, ridiculous absolute waste of £24!!!

One if the most reliably good Chinese take aways in Perth. It does get very busy, you can phone ahead an order to pick up, but for Chinese meals only. Good idea to order and nip to the co-op if you need to go to the shops. They don't deliver. Would be good if there was more of a system to queuing, you'll end up asking everyone in the shop if they've been served. Once in a while, late on in the evening, the chips can taste like they've been sitting for a time, but at busy or normal periods this is never a problem. Good value meal deals, also doing them for one is handy. My favourites are the salt and pepper special or the chips fried rice and curry if I'm after something quick. Pretty decent fish and chips too.

Good food here. I have never understood the concept in the Highlands that chinese takeaways serve chip shop food and chip shop chips. The curry sauce however is the best in Perth
