New China House (Delivery distance cover 6 miles) in Aberdeenshire

First visit to this chinese and DEFINITELY the last ,placed order at 18.00 stood for over an hour waiting, several people complained about unacceptable waiting time. Asked several times how long my order would be only to be told it was just coming eventually got food at 19.00 and after over an hours wait items were missing, absolutely ridiculous had to wait another 10 minutes for missing items "NEVER AGAIN" After all that the food was average not worth the wait. Several people who had actually phoned in there order still had to wait 30 minutes "unbelievable"do not recommend 😡

Omg I finally found a Chinese Takeaway who do a proper chicken maryland like my younger years. The food is high quality and value for money. The Jungle Curry gets a 10/10 for me

Not one to usually gripe about food but this is now the 2nd time that I've had to phone and enquire about the whereabouts of my delivery ...if they're going to use Foodhub as their preference for online orders/ delivery then they could at least acknowledge their customers and the time that they honour for delivery...

Regularly go here and is consistent. Food tastes good and portions are good size. My only gripe is cash only. Its 2022, we use card for most of our purchases. Cash only is just another added inconvenience.

Honey chilli chicken is brilliant

Tried this place again as the other one has changed ownership and is not good, to much sult and this place is the same. Me and my daughter had to drink two pints of water to take the thirst down. Not good.

Can be hit or miss from here but more often than not a hit! Biggest downside is cash only. Its so easy to set up a card machine nowadays so really no excuse!

I've been a fan of this takeaway for many years. They make good tasting food, delivery times are great also. So kick back order some lemon chicken and egg fried rice and stick on a movie.

Awful chicken chow mein. Was up have the night with food poisoning. Will not be back.

I've had reasonably good food from here in the past, by (generally low aberdeenshire standards) but last order was simply very low grade slop that I'd feel bad about serving to cattle. Chicken was of jelly consistency and actually tasted bitter and pretty revolting, batter on the chicken balls soft and goey instead of crispy. Sauces are artificial gloop. Not cheap either so we were disappointed. On the plus side the service was very fast. Also avoid anything with batter as per my experience and other reviews on here. They just can't do batter. Probably OK if you're drunk or VERY hungry.

Decent local Chinese takeaway. Always friendly and a good standard.

Food was disgusting no taste to the curry also the shredded crispy beef was mostly batter would never eat out this hell hole again on a plus note salt and chilli chips were ok do not eat here

We are up here regularly from Edinburgh to visit relatives in Newtonhill and use this for a takeaway to be delivered. Food is generally good but tonight due to an item not being delivered the rest of the family had eaten before the forgotten item eventually came. Comment from the delivery driver was "hope this hasn't spoilt your evening". Yes it did as I ate on my own!!!!!

Good food and a wide selection of choice on the menu.

Delicious meal on Saturday night - everything perfect and the cutest delivery driver I've ever had too. Many thanks - will be back again as always
