New China House in Aberdeenshire

First visit to this place. We thought it was a restaurant but found they only do takeaway. First impressions were not great. Looks basic but a warm welcome and food was ready in 15 minutes. Peking ribs, hot and sour soup both excellent. Mains we’re honey chilli chicken which was fab, special chow mien and Singapore noodles were both fine. I’d use this place again

One of the worst Chinese meals I’ve had, tasteless, over cooked and not worth the money paid - most of it ended up in the bin - won’t be back.

Dont think I've ever had a bad meal from here. We usually go for lots of starters smoked shredded chicken,salt and pepper chicken, minced chicken pancake rolls and salt and pepper chips.If your looking for a main their chicken satay is great as is the shredded chilli beef and the shredded chilli chicken.

This is our go to Chinese, never had a bad one yet. We have tried others locally but although they are not bad, China house is just a wee bit better.

This has got to be the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. The chicken in the chow mein was huge lumps of watery white stuff which did not resemble chicken, the chicken in the satay was bitter and watery, thought I’d be safe with fried rice and curry sauce but the rice was tasteless and the sauce was watery and like eating fresh air. The ribs were really oily. £25 wasted and the whole lot went in the bin!

Decided to go to this Chinese out of others in the area as it had the better reviews. We ordered the Hong Kong chicken, chicken chow mien, 1/4 crispy duck and salt and pepper chips. The Hong Kong chicken was fine. Duck was also fine except there was a lack of pancakes to go with it so once the pancakes were gone we were left with a lot of duck and veg. The chow mien didn't have enough noodles, all veg and the chicken was not good at all, it was slimy and did not taste nice. The salt and pepper chips lacked salt and pepper. Overall very average.

Tasty food, decent price. The Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken is superb. I've been eating here for years, always good.

Midweek, midterm holiday treat Been getting takeaway from here from over two years and the crowds at the weekend tell you how good the food is. Only ever had one poor dish. Tonight Starters were great - hot and spicy soup is spicy and chicken satay really great. Usual selection of Chinese favourites for mains with great rice and noddles. Highly recommended but remember cash only and sometimes their 15 or 20 minutes can be 25 to 30 minutes but they are busy because it’s good!

Got some takeaway from here yesterday. The phone service was very efficient, and the girl at the counter was nice, and spoke very good English. The food was very tasty. I had the prawn omelette which was up there with the best. The others were very pleased with their food.
