Martins Chinese Takeaway in Aberdeenshire

Good food good excpicaly the chicken curry salt and pepper chips and there curry sauce

We had our usual meals we have at home , was ok and nothing more , we had worse and have had a lot better .both meals seemed to lack a bit of ingredients

Very very good food. The service was nice. I would recommend the Sweet and Sour Chicken

Went to Martin's for a carry out tonight...it was absolutely revolting both were put in bin..rice had been heated up in microwave....chicken was rock har..wont be going bk.their standards have dropped.....

The quality was standard , however the portions where tiny considering how overpriced they where. When i rang to complain the woman who answered seemed very uninterested overall i am dissapointed and would NOT go again

Very decent! Tried the competition next door a couple of months ago and we were very disappointed. This is miles better! Only deducted one star as for my tastes, it could have been slightly more flavoursome. However we throughly enjoyed it, and will be back!

Tried both takeaways at the square & both of them gross! Curry sauce was like jelly, fried rice more like boiled rice, only ok thing was the chips. I really miss the old Martins food, but this food doesn't even come close. Very poor!

The honey chilli chicken, fried rice, chips were all delicious. The special curry on the other hand had 2 bits of chicken, 1 piece of beef, maybe 2 small prawns but lots and lots of onions. That won’t ever be a choice again

Lemon chicken and salt and pepper chips was great. Disappointed they don't accept card or do deliveries. However I totally understand why no deliveries in a small village.

Friendly staff,very good prawn crackers rice both boiled and fried were clean and well cooked. 3 of the items were good sadly the king prawn curry lacked flavour .I hope this was a one off.the place was clean and well maintained. We will try it again

Vast improvement since last visit , ordered special fried rice, Fresh, nicely cooked , very decedent ingredients the taste was very nice and had , normal takeaway size portion, that was more than ample, place was clean and tidy, staff were nice pleased and would recommend thanks martins

Very tasty salt and pepper chicken and chips. The sweet and sour chicken ball is my daughter favourite. Good service and friendly staff.

We love Martins, sweet & sour chicken or s& s cantonese style. Love the new salt & pepper ribs, chips. The portions are a great sharing size and usually on time with take outs.

I haven't eaten here for a while, so I ended up having Vegetables in a kung po sauce with fried rice. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a gentle after taste of the spices, the fried rice didn't look like your average takeaway.I would eat here again.

Tried this Chinese while on holiday in the area. Premises was clean, friendly staff, good selection on the menu. Food was good, large portions.

We tried a takeaway from here recently and wished we hadn’t. I had a chicken curry and was put off to see the curry sauce was more like jelly. The chicken and pineapple was red coloured, more like a sweet and sour. Not much taste in either dish and accompanied by lukewarm chips. We won’t be trying anything else from here.

Dreadful duck was green and rotten don’t eat here hope I’m not going to spend the night throwing up on mouthful and it went in the bucket

Tried Martins a few months back and we keep returning. We have tried many items from the menu and everything has been great. Our favourite is the sweet and sour chicken along with a chicken curry, superb!

We are regulars at Martins. Always lovely. Honey chilli chicken is delish and the chicken satay skewers are really tasty.

We popped in past for some Chinese food made locally and was not disappointed. A fast & friendly service was given and the food was made fresh and was piping hot when consumed.

I can't say how many times I've eaten here over the years. Always fantastic food, always great portions, always lovely service. And great prices too! Getting hungry writing this review...

I'm a local customer that has had several takeaways in the past from here which has always been of a good standard, however I'm disappointed to have to tell you that the food I had tonight was disgraceful!!

Abbiamo preso il menu da 26£. Tutto davvero buono, quantità tipicamente da cinese (ci abbiamo pranzato anche il giorno dopo) e soprattutto il cinese di qualità che ti aspetti e speri. Raccomandato.

Used to be a great Chinese, has gone down hill quickly. Had a take away tonight and thought it was overpriced,bland and low quality ingredients used. Will not be going back.

This place has not kept its standards up since it has changed hands it is still clean and tidy inside

Made my debut here based on the recommendation of a friend. This is a hidden gem of a chinese in the local area. Food all cooked freshly and tasted amazing. I had the thai red curry and it had a perfect mix of Chicken and veg in it. The chicken wasnt your normal rubbery chicken from other chinese restuarants, it was thick and well cooked. Even the rice/noodles/chips that we had were all freshly made. The price was also very reasonable. £18 for 2 mains and 3 sides.

Another fantastic meal from martin's. The food is fabulous and reasonably priced. The chilli chicken was a taste sensation and the chicken noodle soup was scrumptious

Portion size smaller than expected. Bit pricey for what I got. Staff friendly enough but not overly so. Have been to both this takeaway and Wongs Kitchen and Wongs wins hands down. Better food, better service, better portion sizes and value for money. Won't be back to Martins I'm afraid.

The Chinese was decent enough. We had a selection of stuff. The sweet and sour was decent enough. Does the job.

It's a Chinese takeaway . Staff fairly friendly but the service maybe isn't the quickest . Always busy . Food is always of decent standard never any complaints

Second visit under the new owners and it really is fantastic. Best Chinese in the area and the green Thai curry is a taste sensation. Highly recommend this place

Stopped here after a long Friday at work and by jeesus it worked. The green Thai curry was first class and had a lovely kick to it. The wife's shredded chili chicken was tasty and not your usually sickly tasting dish. Very much enjoyed it

We were staying in Turriff for a couple of days and Martin's Chinese was recommended to us.
