New Bangkok in Hammersmith and Fulham

I am a vegetarian. They gave me chicken when I asked for tofu. Chicken was so mushy that I didn’t even realise until the bill came out and I had a careful look at the food. There was a massive bit of ginger I ate as well. I haven’t eaten meat for 6 years and now I feel so sick. I didn’t say anything whilst there as I was in a rush to leave. Music was loud

The owner is very kind friendly welcoming and attentive the restaurant is clean and a nice atmosphere. The food is beautifully presented and is amazing every dish we got was bursting with flavour it was delicious food. You must go to this restaurant if you love Thai food one of the best Thai restaurants in London with generous portions. Highly recommend visiting this gem! Some of our favourite items on the menu include the massaman curry and the beef in a black bean sauce.

Small, friendly restaurant. Excellent food, good value. Thai and Sushi on menu. We had a Thai sea bream dish which was exceptional and a teriyaki chicken bowl, again very nice.

Lovely little restaurant. Very pleasant staff super food. They don’t serve alcohol but you can take your own and they charge £1.50 per person corkage. Only criticism is the toilet could do with a spruce up

Me and my family have been to new bangkok Thai restaurants Tuesday it’s very close to Hammersmith station and near hospital. Food was absolutely delicious 😋 crispy squid best one I ever had, fried rice , noodles we really enjoyed it, at the end delicious dessert made with mango and sticky rice. Amazing, definitely will visit there, staff was very friendly and professional , service was very quick.

Lovely food and good suggestions for dishes to try. Friendly helpful staff. Good prices. Had to have a discussion about which dishes were good for gluten intolerant guest but they were happy to swap Sauce to make it work.

Really friendly staff and fab food. Booked our table and glad we did as within 30 mins every table full. Kindly allowed us BYO. Nice atmosphere.

Good service and the Thai Red curry and Katsu Curry rice bowl were both rated ‘spectacular’ by our party. Beef Pad Thai also very good. Having stopped on spec on the journey home from a north-west London theatre we were very pleasantly surprised by the genuine welcome and quality food.

Thank you to the entire team at New Bangkok for an exceptional meal. We managed to order a lot of variety and it was all delicious that we couldn’t stop eating. I would highly recommend as a hidden gem with fantastic service too!

The food here is incredible and the service friendly. The restaurant isn't fancy as such but the food that you eat is absolutely to die for. Freshly prepared every time and always using quality, freshly delivered ingredients provided by trusted supplies. The restaurant is opposite to where I live and it is an absolute treat to go there once or so a month for a Friday night meal with my other half. Would recommend the Thai Dumplings, Crispy Chicken and Salt and Pepper Squid starters; the Katsu, the Boat Rice, the Cashew Nut Chicken, the Pad Thai and the Pad Prik Pow with Prawns. Order pretty much anything though and I think you'd be happy. The cold thai tea drink is great too. Never leave reviews on here but this place truly is a hidden gem. Also VERY reasonably priced.

Interesante es que si esos problemas se quejaron de no tener una cerveza para acompañar su comida. No tienen licencia y por lo tanto no venden alcohol, pero no en la puerta de al lado, y a precios razonables. Era un café poco ambiente, pero el servicio amable y la actitud hicieron para eso. De todos modos esta fue una experiencia gratificante, donde se consideró que su trabajo era apreciado y te hacían sentir como un cliente especial por el propietario. Un buen tipo. La comida era muy buena, los precios eran incluso mejores, y aunque es un pequeño menú, había suficiente variedad para satisfacer al cliente más finically acotado. This is a lovely small friendly thai restaurant set just across the road from the underground at Hammersmith. The menu is very comprehensive and varied. Good starters and lovely choice of mains.

After complaining to Just-Eat about a problem with my order and service I received. I discovered that this restaurant is recently under new ownership. Perhaps this would explain why recent reviews aren't up to scratch! The ice cream part of my dessert dish was missing and when I called the restaurant to complain I was told "that's how it meant to come for takeaway orders" when I told them that it's not the dish as described on the menu, I was told that they will soon be removing the authentic Thai dessert dish because it is causing many problems for them. In my opinion it is not hard to send out coconut ice cream, many other restaurants manage to send out Haagen Dazs and Ben and Jerrys. Should be no big deal. At least they offered to refund me for the dish. Ultimately I wasn't left feeling too happy.

Ordered on a Bank Holiday, so delivery was about 40 minutes late. Got a voucher from Just Eat to ease that pain slightly. Food was fine though!

Delivery was 30 min late. Food was alright, but there is losts of space for improvmemt: 1. Platter had to come with souces, but I didn't find any. 2. I was very surprised when Pad Thai came with whole peanuts, not crushed.

The meat was a bit hard, it is usually better, so quality of meat and tenderness should improve.

After a 2 hour wait for food (they cancelled my first order) I was then lied to several times about the whereabouts of the delivery driver. The owners said he would rectify the situation by offering complimentary beers. Upon arrival (2 hours later) the order came with no beers and the food was cold. I then called to complain and was told they would be calling back but they have not. Extremely disappointing, do not use this company.

This has to be one of the most value for money haunts ever. For under a tenner and with opening hours that seem to go on forever, this is THE PLACE to either take away or eat in. Can get busy though, but this is always a good sign. Hammersmithians love it.
