Our favourite place to get our chippy! Great service, and the chips are just delicious. Any special requests they will do, great place!

Discussed with the food.. ordered mini fish / chips and curry sauce.... when waiting for the so called food I witnessed so call staff who had not washed their hands preparing the chips,,,, dirty money grabbing people. Getting back to my order,, that I say was f...in cold £ 12 , , work it out

Each time I go to Neptune I am never disappointed! The chicken and chips is my personal favourite it’s DELICOUS . The service is always lovely and friendly an so are all the customer that are in the que. I would highly recommended best Chippy in Oldbury. Love Lola x

Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Well worth of money.

LOVE the chips and scallops here. I cant say anything about the other food due to beng a vegetarian. these are old school chippy - big and fresh and fluffy. Sooo deleicious. Its a toss up between here and Queens Head for the best in the neighbourhood. Damn, best two chippys in Sandwell or Birmingham.

Favorite fish and chips in area

Had cone of chips and battered sausage. Which looked and tasted like it was from the day before. Told it was fresh from same day. No way skin was burnt and miscoloured. Give them a miss waste of time and money.

So disappointed… saveloy was bland. Kebab was cold. Mushy peas are watery. The only decent thing was the chips and they wasn’t really top notch.

Wow, what can I say, had a chippy last night and it was fantastic, hot,fresh and big portions, best chippy meal we've had in a long time, found a great chippy, at last, our new local,well done Neptune's.

Went into this fish n chip shop instead of my usual. Meal more expensive than usual shop, added more money for addition of curry sauce (for the special) and then wanted another 50p for it to be in a container, rather than on the meal itself. Won't be going there again.

Because it's local, each time I've used this chip shop the food has been disappointing. Fried chicken is not fresh, it's stale, hard and had to be thrown away. Kebab meet is always cold. A waste of money will never go there again and will never recommend it to anyone.

I like this fish and chip shop, because everything is always cooked fresh, every time I visit, I always have a bit of a wait, but I dont mind because it is freshly cooked and always piping hot when I get it home

Very poor. He refried the chips he gave me... Hard crispy skins. Kebab was re heated meat and the mint sauce looked luminous. Never again!

We travel past two chip shops to get here. That says it all really.

The best chippy and kebabs by far in Odbury the staff are so friendly and polite on every visit. The food is consistently delicious And huge portion sizes. On one occasion I was a bit short of cash this was no problem and I was told to just drop it in when I'm passing. The nann kebabs can easily feed 2/3 adults.

Pie lid was hard chips not too bad

It's disgusting not even worth 1 star. The language was so poor didn't even understand what they were saying and got my order wrong as well as calling me babes after I had asked to cancel my order.

After receiving a barrage of advertisements, I decided to give this excuse for a restaurant a visit. Once entered, my ears began to bleed from the agonising music. The floor was covered in partially-decomposed rats encrusted in turmeric. Neptune's fish bar has manifested itself as repugnant. I attempted to order "Dmagic's special" from the menu, however the cashier divulged "me no engrish" as he walked away. A young goblin approached me from behind, hitting me in my arm, saying "yo can I take your order" in a very barbaric manner. Once I got my order, the goblin charged me £5.52 when the menu said £2.99. Overall, I found this experience very traumatising and have sued the exploitative business owner for violation of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861, Section 47 - Assault occasioning bodily harm. P.S. I r8 it an 8/8 m8

WOOOOOW!! Don't be fooled by its outwardly appearance, this place serves one of the finest take aways one could possibly divulge their senses. Far better than burj al-arab's silly pathetic excuse for cuisine! Would definitely recommend!

Delicious food and friendly staff, makes me want to go there again and again

After living in London and studying Geography and Doctor at University College London. I recently moved to the UK (btw, my mums a doctor, my dads doctor and my sister is also studying doctor, just so you know this review is coming from a future doctor). First chippy i've tried in the UK and the food was Mind boggling!!! In a good way. Don't believe me, try it! Off you go.

Best food place ive ever been to!

I entered this 'fish bar' at a remote part of Birmingham to get a taste of the authentic 'Brum-style' family business. This particular restaurant was recommended to me by an Asian resident who lived in the area, Joe "Lordswood$" Phan. Upon entering, I was greeted by a smart young man who hastily showed me to my table, before running off to bring my half-filled ketchup bottle and some salt and pepper shakers. I ordered some fish and chips and this charming young man ran off to the kitchen. He returned with quite a large portion, I must say! The fish was succulent yet not too hard, and the chips were on-point. I never knew what fish it was but it was decent enough anyway. And it was great value for money - only a fiver! If you are looking for a decent meal after getting lost in Brum, you can't go wrong with Neptunes.

Absolutely vile place food came was cold the meat had funny taste then was gave mouthful of abuse when I rang to tell them would not order from here if you are looking for decent food
