We regularly visit the coast but first time visit to this little gem. It's not the biggest on the street and I hadn't realised they have seating. Now for the food. My fella had steak pie with peas and gravy - it was served quickly, piping hot and it was a sensation. Pies /cakes are made there. And stuffed full of steak. The peas , proper marrowfat ! Didn't taste canned or frozen but more like soaked overnight with bicarbonate of soda. Gravy of a decent consistency and tasty too . I opted for a cherry scone and oh my,I was not disappointed. Crumbly texture but with a wonderful buttery taste. We'd only stopped for a brew and bite to see us through but we decided to buy a ham quiche, strawberry tart, and a slice of carrot cake to take home. That was our tea sorted! We weren't disappointed by anything and will definitely be calling again, possibly several times.

Been in here today for the first time, ordered a tuna sandwich and drinks off the menu, the description said with salad garnish, a 2 slice diagonally cut plain sandwich arrived no salad etc, supposed to be tuna mayo, if there was mayo it was so sparse it isn’t tasted, so dry as a bone, over £6 for 2 pieces of bread and dry tuna😵💫, tbf they added the salad once asked for it, but if it’s on the menu- it’s paid for in the price of the sandwich not a free extra!

My friend and I called in at Neal's last Thursday 28th July, for a snack. Pat had a latte and a toasted teacake, and I had a pot of tea and buttered toast. The staff are lovely, the food and drinks are excellent, and nicely served, and the cafe is spotless. Highly recommended.

My friend and I have met up several times recently in Cleveleys and, before we set off for St Annes, we've called at Neal's for a hot drink and toast. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. It's a lovely cafe.

I have been going to this bakers for many years and the cakes are usually reasonably priced and delicious. But things seemed to have changed since the lockdown. I called last Thursday for a curd tart and an apple pie. They were just as good but £8 .70pfor 2 tarts!!! Ridiculous. Won't be going again. I wondered why the shop had few customers whenever I went past. Before the lockdown they were always busy. Another company taking advantage of the public.

We are often looking for somewhere to stop while travelling north to Scotland, somewhere welcoming and not too far from the M6. Cafe Edelweiss absolutely fits the bill. Leaving very early for a long journey, we appreciated that this cafe was open at 8.30am. Some of the locals also clearly appreciate this, as it was very soon full with regulars. It’s a pleasant environment - calm, relaxed and quiet even when there were quite a few tables full. And even on a grey day, there was lots of natural light coming in through the large windows, The service is great, and the meals come out in good time, with fresh ingredients. Some nice touches, like marmalade to go with your toast even though you have ordered a cooked breakfast. The coffee was a decent strength too. Clean toilet, and car parking close by (entered via the supermarket car park). Just what we were looking for.
