Nazmin's Indian Restaurant Earlsfield in Wandsworth

Ordered a chicken korai which was buy one get one free at the time of order, only one korai was sent. Called the restaurant and spoke with manager who was unbothered about the situation and told me to contact Uber eats. Although the restaurant is at fault for not honouring the promotion, I contacted Uber eats who has yet to respond with a resolution. The Manager of Nazmins could have easily resolved this alot quicker by just offering the (Free item) I initially paid for but decided not to. At this point they are more interested collecting money than keeping the customers happy. This is bad for business and I will not be ordering again. My Response So I've just received a response (below) from the manager of Nazmins, proving my point when I mentioned he wasn't bothered to resolve anything. He has decided to spend more energy arguing than resolve the issue at hand. This isn't good for business, and at this point I do not even care any more. However, I will leave an honest review. People need to know the truth! P.S. I told you you I wouldn't have ordered just one container for £18 and that I ordered with intentions of a buy one get one free meal. It didn't specify to add two Korias at check out, it just stated the meal was buy one get one free. I see you've decided to mix my words and use it against me as a response. Very petty and very bad for business! I mentioned I was going to order from MC Donalds but chose to purchase a buy one get one free meal from your store, to only receive one container, which I was unhappy about. If anything I now regret not ordering from MC Donalds as they would have exceeded expectations and not argue with customers to play innocent. I wouldn't have to write this review that I'm writing right now! So thank you for highlighting this. I'm a paying customer who had NOT received their moneys worth and I'm allowed to talk about it. Maybe you should consider concentrating on the other bad reviews I see you have here under your website. Im over it now! Great customer service. Tasty food

I had a fantastic experience at Nazmin’s on Friday night! That garlic naan will now be considered the best I’ve ever had; crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with garlic! I have never encountered this style of crispy naan. Generally garlic naan tends to be soggy, but this was almost crispy pizza esque. This place also serves draft Cobra - so don’t worry about that. On the waiter’s recommendation, I tried the Lamb Shank Bhuna. I was told it was the best dish on the menu. It had a nice sauce, packed just about an acceptable amount of heat for me but was slightly fattier than I’d prefer and could have been served a touch warmer. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and I’d happily return!

SOME THINGS HAVE CHANGED… BUT THE FOOD AND SERVICE HAS NOT!! Visited the restaurant after ten years+(have been supporting for way longer and getting food delivered ). My husband and I brought my (Polish)parents to the restaurant as it was one the first restaurants we visited. They loved it!!! Abid, Jabed and Russel were the best hosts and waiters we could ask for. We will definitely make more of an effort to visit the restaurant more often. Thank you again!!

I ordered the vegan curry with imitation meat from Nazmin’s, ( not my first choice did not read properly) and it was honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The quality of the food has seriously declined. The coconut curry was overwhelmingly sweet, as if they had added several teaspoons of sugar. I’ve been ordering from this place for over 15 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever had to throw away a meal without eating it.

These charlatans have been getting away with this for ages . Ordered a delivery, was quoted 45 minutes to on our wait. Agreed it. Phoned up after an hour and 10 minutes was advised it was enough route. They made imaginary calls to the driver . Obviously after an hour and a half the meal was freezing cold . They delivered the sludgy mess . Don't bother with these people, living on a past reputation. Awful .

More curry powder than ingredients all they think is that you want it hot 5 in 100 indian restaurant know how to cook the way it should be and I grew up in a indian house lost generation bit like pie and mash wouldn't go again

Last time I was wrong about this place. It’s even better than I thought on first impressions. I’ve now worked my way through most of the menu and there hasn’t been anything less than delicious. For lovers of heat, don’t miss the naga chicken dish - hot, but not crowding out the other beautiful flavours, and tender chicken thigh. Really impressive. Not all about heat though - whatever you order will be well thought out and beautifully presented. Great toilets too. Go. Soon.

A wonderful Indian restaurant with lovely and character filled staff in a lovely suburban setting. The meals were so tasty and the flavours authentic and not shy in spice which we love! They even offered off menu dishes which were so good. It came highly recommended by our UK friends and it didn’t disappoint, we came all the way from Australia to try it! Highly recommend the naan and the tikka as stand out dishes.

We've been regular customers of Nazmins for the last 30 years and I must say tonights delivery was outstanding. Not greasy not over salted - in fact perfect Lamb bhuna, madras hot as only Nazmins can do it with special fried rice - perfect. Thank you so very much for a lovely treat meal:)

I’m not rating this a five because it’s the best Indian restaurant in the world. But I am giving it a five because it’s the best I’ve been to in the area (which includes Tooting) and it deserves to be much further ahead of its peers than it already is (4.3 google rating as I write this). I’ve lived round here for 15 years and am embarrassed I’ve only just discovered this place. Even from the chutneys and mint yoghurt with the papadum, I realised it was probably going to be good, and it really was. Lamb shank main was fantastic, and I’ll be back soon to try the rest.

Horrible and absolutely not authentic food! I ordered dal, matar paneer, and chapatis and the chapatis were not cooked properly at all! I had to stop eating midway and cook them a bit on the stove. Also the matar paneer tasted more like a dessert than a curry - who adds that much sugar and whyyyyy??!!!! I could only taste cream and sugar. I complained on Deliveroo and got partially refunded thankfully. Never ordering from this place again. *UPDATE* ‘Mild’ means less spice and does not mean adding tons of sugar! The restaurant should then write ‘sweet’ instead of ‘mild’. And there is not going to be a next time as I am never ordering from you again. P.S - are the chapatis mildly cooked as well?

My favourite Indian by a mile! I had the Lamb Rawa this time; the spiciness was perfect with amazing flavour and perfect sized portion! 10/10 service, will always be back!

Spur of the moment dinner on Thursday was such a brilliant idea - such delicious food! The vegetable samosas were as good as I remembered, the samosa chat was devine, as was the fluffiest of naan breads. My husband gave the sea bass kerela 10 out of 10, the same score as I gave the tastiest panir masala. We won't leave it as long to return, I can't wait!

I've been wanting to go to Nazmins, the "award winning" local Indian restaurant in Earlsfield, for years. Sadly my first dinner there was disappointing and underwhelming and I'll never eat there again. Nazmins owner usually leaves a rather defensive and sometimes snide response to anybody who dares to leave less than a 4 star review on google, which may stop some disappointed customers from bothering (read them, you'll be shocked!). But not to be faint hearted, I'm leaving this review regardless, as our dinner there really wasn't great. Firstly, the atmosphere was dead as doornails on a mid-week night. Only 4 customers including us, and when we left it was totally empty, yet all the other restaurants we then walked past down Garratt Lane were full of customers and buzzing - the contrast says a lot about Nazmins. None of the food gave us a wow moment. My samosa chaat starter was one small soggy samosa swimming in a thin sauce, I don't remember seeing any chickpeas in it. We both had lamb dish mains which were both strangely overly sweet, while mine had two chilies next to it on the menu but was not hot at all. One of our three naans was burnt black and crispy round the edges. And when we asked for the dessert menu, there isn't one - the waiter told us Nazmins doesn't do desserts. Really? Not even kulfi ice cream???? Overall it seemed over-priced at well over £80 for 3 poppadoms, 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 rice, 3 naan and 2 Cobra beers. Or maybe that's a reasonable price for the amount we ordered but it just didn't feel like value for money. Next time I want a decent Indian dinner I'll go down the road to Tooting.

We used to live in Wandsworth, and ordered from Nazmins every weekend. Since we left we’ve lived all over the country, but always come back whenever we’re visiting London. Such great service and food is always amazing! Always a special place for us, lots of memories too.

I had tried Chicken Biriyani, tandoor chicken and nan. The biriyani was really good and will recommend for Indian food lovers. The other items were good, but tandoori chicken could be more better. The service was excellent. And the atmosphere is also good. You can hear the indian music and enjoy the food.

I really enjoyed the experience, the staff were so friendly and the food was divine. I can't explain how amazing the Dahl was. The chicken tika and the butter chicken was spectacular. The furnishing of the restaurant was beautifully decorated and opulant. One of my go to restaurants. We can always rely on this restaurant to keep us well fed and happy. Would recommend coming here. This is a five star for me.

Had a takeaway. It’s a curry for people who like English curry, think cream and too much heat. Sadly not authentic Indian. Above all the price is disappointing, e.g. the King Prawn Butterfly starter is £6.75 for one prawn. One prawn. Ridiculous

Despite being a local it was my first time at Nazmin’s and I am very happy to find quality authentic Indian cuisine in great proximity. I had Chicken Naaga Moris, for the first time, and looks like I will have trouble trying anything else as it was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Recommend this a lot to spicy lovers.
