Had such a fun evening for a birthday. There were 15 of us and food and cocktails were delicious and service fantastic. Will be going back for a date for sure! The lamb chops and fried fish were knock out.

Everything wonderful, the food in particular, and the staff charming - especially Sam!

With a lot of sadness, I am giving this 1 * rating. I really love your food and we are sort of ordering regularly. But last weekend we had a terrible experience. We ordered Gajar Ka Halwa from your place and we are appalled by looking at the amount of food served to us. It was barely two spoons of dessert at the bottom of a small container. It's absolutely cheating your customer.

I've probably eaten here, around 20 times. Always early on a Tuesday/Wednesday, on my way to a regular appointment. Great food, and great service from Sam. What can I say? Other than that....I've been back 20 times!

Order butter nan and paneer butter masala for th dinner tonight. The paneer butter masala was terrible, no butter in it, too much of a sugar added. Nan was too small and not worth for the price. I would definitely not want to order from this restaurant again.

The main course although didn’t live up to expectations the service redeemed our experience. Staff were friendly and took on feedback well. I would definitely recommend starters along with a very relaxed dining environment.

Nothing less than outstanding. Very accommodating staff, very tasty food at fair prices and a special occasion as our kids were so quiet… and loving the food too! 😂 We had black daal, chicken biryani, malai chicken, peshawari and garlic naans. A minor slippage on the service - and we were given 2 pints of cobra free of charge! What can I say more…? We will definitely come back soon

Can’t recommend this place enough! Fantastic food and lovely, attentive service. Have eaten here many times and it never disappoints, whether it’s delivery or at the restaurant. Tonight we had our best experience yet, brought my sister here for a small baby shower dinner and Sam and the team really made us feel at home and helped us organise a little surprise for her.

The most delicious Indian food I’ve eaten in years. My first experience was takeaway, and I went back a week later with a friend I loved it so much!

Ordered for delivery. The Punjabi samosa chaat is overly Saturated in deep fried oil you can taste it through the crunch of the samosa, the inside tasted off. The paneer tikka masala & baby spinach is horrible. The lachha Paratha wasn’t flaky and moist with ghee. What a shame.

Ordered through deliveroo. Honestly very disappointed. The onion salad literally was a few circles of onion in a box, not even prepared - with a piece of lime on the side. Not even chopped up or prepared. Chicken tikka masala has some authentic taste. But the amount of oil was huge. The karahi chicken was very bland with almost no flavour. The food arrived almost cold. Since the deliveroo came straight away with no stops it means unfortunately it left a bit cool already. Had to put all dishes in in the microwave. I really would not recommend ordering this food for delivery. Maybe it’s better in the restaurant, but the spices and favours weren’t anything special to be honest. Took this photo after chopping up the onion myself. I wouldn’t order from here again sadly. Maybe they were having a bad day? But won’t be returning. Not worth the cost either.

We had a fantastic meal here a few days ago. It has a lovely vibe, designed to look like a luxury train, and every detail had been thought about, from the table-side lamps to the curved ceiling and wood panelling. That attention to detail extended into the food, which was wonderful, from the lamp chops and chilli paneer starters (terrific) to the butter chicken and black daal. It was all first-class, and we’ll absolutely come back again when we’re next in this part of town.

What a special birthday celebration! Food, atmosphere and service was incredible. Thanks Diev and Chook Chook for the best evening! We will be back again soon.

Fantastic food. Lively atmosphere without feeling noisy and a great place for a conversation during dinner. Very good service. Doubled the recommended service charge as I really enjoyed my evening. If near Putney Bridge, don‘t miss out on great Indian food.

Lovely Authentic Restaurant We came to celebrate 🍾 my wife's birthday the kids also enjoyed the food friendly staff and welcoming they also ended the evening with a lovely cake for her on the house. Great Service. We will be back.

Ordered a take away for delivery from here on Saturday 28th September 2024. I have had significantly better microwave Indian meals than this. The lack of depth of any flavour is astonishing. The meat was very dry , the curry very watery. The cauliflower and chicken wings starters were appallingly small and genuinely awful and i'd be embarrassed if I was either the chef or owners of this place. It was astonishingly bad and at a cost of £70+ for two people a disgrace. In addition to the above: 1. It took an hour and a half to arrive - despite us living five mins walk away. 2. There was a naan bread missing from the order. 3. When I called to complain about the missing naan, the phone was put down on me before I could explain the issues. I would never eat from here again and would definitely not recommend it.

Lamb shank was beautiful. Naans as well. Spicy though! The ambiance is cosy, romantic but also appropriate for a friends evening. Sam, one of the waiters, is a real sunshine and made our evening lovely. We thank him, he is a great man. We recommend this place for a date’s dinner or a mate’s dinner!

What a dinner we had at this restaurant.. great food, lovely atmosphere. If you are looking for good indian cuisine, thats your place. However! That was not the main highlight of our evening. Sam was absolutely legendary. Every bit of our visit was great because of him. His service was fantastic, but also worth mentioning, that his sales skills are truly shocking. Sam, you made this visit worth 5*. Thank you and we are definitely going to come back very soon because of you.

I’m here to let you know the staff eat from the food, the little sauces you get in the metal small bowls served on a small plate, they dip the popadoms they serve to you in the chutney and the green sauce and they’ll eat from it. They don’t wash or clean the trays they use to carry papadums and they all eat from the papadums too they’ll break off small bits and dig in, or a customer will eat a bit of there papadums and they’ll go to the back and act like they got a new one and serve them to a different customer. All of them do this. If they eat from the food imagine what other unhygienic things they do. ALSO the food is absolutely tasteless, no seasonings or spices.

One of my favourite Indians in London! Super flavourful Chicken Tikka Masala! It is a must to eat here!

Ordered takeaway - prompt delivery. Quality and quantity of food was very average. A sorry looking biryani which was simply steamed rice mixed with a dry chicken curry, and a ridiculous number of whole spices for one portion - I counted and thankfully managed not to ingest 6 cloves, one black cardamom, two green cardamom and some mace. Best part was the raita, which was lovely. Lamb keema reminded me of tinned mince. There is better Indian food to be found in Putney.

Here for a birthday meal, absolutely loved the experience, as always. Sam and the staff were all so welcoming and couldn’t have done more for us. Food highlights include the Butter Chicken, Laal Maas and chilli-fried paneer, and of course the birthday cake with sparkler. The restaurant is busy but that’s because it's intimate and has fantastic food. We will be back.

Delicious food and a great local spot! I always choose to dine in instead of taking out because the atmosphere is fantastic. The menu accommodates all diets, so whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or have lactose intolerance, there will be something for you. We often end up ordering too much, but it’s great for leftovers, and the portions are generous.
