Great food every time so good I wish thy had a couple of monthly specials as I’ve Dam near done the menu

The food was late, cold and taste awful. It did not resemble the pictures when ordering. We were unable to eat it. Very disappointing and have requested a refund.

We just thought of going on a drive and came across this restaurant on the search and decided to drop by. It was a good choice for a good quality food and service. The presentation of the food was lovely with authentic Indian curries as mains. The size of the roti was small for me but tasty. Sam gave an amazing service. Cute kettle masala chai with warm towels in the end of the meal. And orange Chocolate is nice too. A good discovery and a nice night.

Fantastic all round every time! Recommend eating in, you get extremely well looked after and unlike most curry houses it’s a really nice place to be. Best curry house in SW London in my opinion.

Unfortunately the food was pretty awful. The chicken curry had no flavour and the meat was poor quality. The naan bread was too salty and very small for £4 and the pilau rice wasn’t pilau. The food was late. I won’t be ordering from here again

I wanted to try this place for ages and it did not disappoint! The cauliflower and lamb chops for starter, were phenomenal. We had railway chicken and chicken saagwala with peshwari naan, and it was divine. I can’t wait to go back to have some more cauliflower, stunning! Our server Sam was lovely and attentive, highly recommend this place for a decent curry!! :)

Chill paneer, pav bhaji, samosa chaat all really good dishes.

Been going here for years and it’s always absolutely delicious whether you eat in or have a takeaway delivered! Definitely my favourite Indian restaurant in London. The staff are always so friendly regardless of how lively it gets. I love that you can get good drinks like cocktails and mocktails, as well as the usual beers.

The food here is amazing. The delivery service is appalling. Don't order through their website. Deliveroo orders get prioritised. Used to be a regular but deliver time has been too long too many times. Over takes over 90 minutes and then turns up cold. It's a shame as good is great.

Staff Sam is very friendly and accomodating.The food is spectacular, budget friendly, decent portions, relaxing environment,spacious, calm atmosphere.We adore the lamb biryani, and lamb curry.It taste high end food and exquisite.

We went for dinner based on a random stranger’s recommendation who had lived in Putney for 30 years… Our visit exceeded expectations! We tried as many dishes as we could between 5 of us, probably 16 in all, and everything was fresh and super flavorful. Even the mango lassi! The service was also super friendly and helpful, especially our waiter Sam, and we felt well taken care of but not rushed. Chook Chook’s ambience was lovely as well with a comprehensive themed railway interior design. We will definitely go back and highly recommend Chook Chook to friends and family!

Absolutely delicious delivery from here, portions very generous food is so flavourful. Clearly great love and care goes into developing the sauces and cooking the meats. Will definitely be back very soon. Was packed with great care and attention.

Delivery: Order took 1 and half hours to arrive having said max would be 55 mins and only to turn up without any of the rice. The food that did show up as it was nice.

This was my first time coming to Chook Chook. The food was fantastic - highly recommend the lamb based dishes. The service was quick and the waiters were attentive. The decor is also tasteful and a nice level of relaxing background music was playing. Lovely experience all-round!

Sadly, not authentic Indian food. The butter chicken was really sweet almost like a dessert!! Naans were really thin like roomali- rotis and sadly the biriyani was very bland. However, the ambience and the service were excellent.

My gorgeous boyfriend booked Chook Chook for a lavish curry to follow our Xmas drinks pub crawl in Putney. The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. We strongly recommend the king prawn curry, onion bhajis and the chutneys. Thank you Dave for being so attentive to us. We had a wonderful evening.

I booked Chook Chook for 11 guests for my wife’s birthday, and it did not disappoint. We were served by Sam who was such a great server, he was fast, efficient and ensured that we had the best experience and recommendations, even for those who aren’t really into Indian food. The food was delicious and the meats were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the chicken railway curry and the lamb house curry, both were so tasty. My wife had a lovely time and was very thankful for the birthday cake she was given on the house. We will definitely be back!

Always delicious. One of my favorites in London. We love the butter chicken and the black dal. They go above and beyond with great complexity of flavor. It’s also worth saying that the meat is always so tender. Wonderful garlic naan too. Service is always excellent. Sam has waited on us on our last two visits and is such a pleasant person to talk to. Love the orange chocolates when the bill comes as well.
