Overall an average experience. The prices are pretty expensive being a fine dining establishment.

Although the food was good, I found it disgraceful when, shortly after I had eaten and ordered a cappuccino, the waiter placed the bill on the table for me. When I picked up my credit card a short time later, he was already standing behind me as if he couldn't wait for me to leave. The tip was correspondingly.

The food was well-cooked, but it fell short of authentic Turkish style. The seasoning leaned more toward heavily spiced flavors and light on portion sizes which deviates from traditional Turkish execution. Additionally, the bread was not made in-house, which is something I would typically expect from a Turkish establishment. On the positive side, the service was friendly and attentive, which made for an enjoyable dining experience overall, despite the shortcomings.

Perfect. Everything was perfect: The atmosphere, lamb aubergine, lamb chops and humus with pita. Everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful family dinner at Nar restaurant. We where welcomed by a very friendly waiter, and ordered our dishes, mainly with lamb because we thought we would eat it more in a country where there are more sheep than humans;). Also had the starter chickenwings, lovely charred and full of flavour. All our lamb dishes where really good, had the Iskender with minced meat, a slow cooked stew and the chops. This place is worth a visit, don’t need to love lamb;)!!

The taste of the lamb chops were juicy and delicious! I will never forget the taste! Out of all the Turkish restaurants in the UK I have never tasted anything as wonderful as this! The seating and lighting is exceptional! Toilets spick& span Could not recommend more!

The lamb meat was a bit raw, and they didn’t ask me how well done I would like it to be. The waiter was quick to bring the bill without asking whether I wanted anything else. Everything else was fine.

Really good place to eat. Tried the Chicken Shish, amazing with the yoghurt sauce. And i was astounded by the taste of their Baklava which i was never a fan of. Definitely a place to revisit when i’m over at Scotland again! And also staff were polite.

Visited nar with the family food was delicious and fresh the portion size was generous we had the mixed grill and seabass. Restaurant clean and the atmosphere is nice highly recommended.

The only waiter I have encountered in Scotland who did not feel like working, often poorly behaved, the owner should take note. The food is too spicy and the meat is overcooked.

Visited nar. Very conjusted. They do not have a highchair for children. I mean this may be the first resturant in United Kingdom who do not have high chair for children. When asked for high chair, the staff said to try next door italian restaurant they have a high chair. I think they have just opened the restaurant without having basic knowledge of customer service and competitors. So people with kids be aware.

The restaurant is nice inside and the food is delicious, but the prices are very high compared to the portion sizes. I also think they are not very welcoming to children; I was there with my child, and they seemed annoyed by his presence. On the positive side, they offer halal food for Muslims.

We had a nice meal. Very satisfied. Quick service, didn't have to wait long for the food. Found the price very reasonable.

My wife and I have been staying in inverness over the past week and we were so impressed by the food here were there 3 nights out of our week stay we took our friends who actually stay locally and they'd never been before and on out recommendation we took them to Nar, then the following night was my wife and I 23rd anniversary and we loved it so much we thought whare better than nar to mark the occasion,the food is fantastic the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is very romantic ♥️ if you want to woo your loved one then Nar Mediterranean restaurant inverness will certainly not disappoint we will definitely be there next time we're in inverness

Typical Mediterranean cuisine restaurant located in the center of the city. The restaurant is small, has several seats, it's fine but the only flaw is the central tables because every time you open the door the cold comes in. The quality is exceptional and, with each order there is a bit of a wait, this shows that the dishes are freshly prepared. I recommend being inspired by the menu and trying various things but obviously I recommend the chicken. Fairly high prices.

Good food, very bad service!!!

Nar is a restaurant serving Turkish specialties. The service is correct. Even though almost all other restaurants were full at that time, there was enough space. But it won't have been because of the quality, because it was good. And it tasted really good too. The price may be a deterrent, although they are still reasonable. The menu isn't too big, but the selection is more than enough. Anyway, we liked it!

Delicious food. Need more staff as only 1 waiter running around with a full restaurant- felt really sorry for him!

On a fully UK vacation, this restaurant was a delicious break from traditional Scottish food! We enjoyed our meal very much.

The store is empty when we came in,but after there is nearly full house, good food, they are fresh, the meal ready so fast!

Beautiful but not a big Mediterranean menu, My wifes Mediterranean, The food is Halal and good quality, Shame the pitta bread was under the meat and the meat wasn't inside it with the salad, we ordered kebabs

We ordered the Mixed Grill. The mutton had a strong smell, but we didn't mind it. Overall it tasted good. We could share it between two people. If the appetite is not large, it was just right.

Absolutely delicious. We tried the chicken and lamb Iskender, it was truly delightful. Service was prompt and the prices were great.

Mediterranean food. I visited around 8pm and there was no one there. I ordered a grill and when I asked if it was for 2 people, I was told it was for 1 person. I saw that it came with 2 pieces of rice, so it was for 2 people. We ordered different dishes so we ate more. I had to pay for it. food was okay

Good food and really nice service

This is the best restaurant and food we had on our Scotland trip. The portions are very big and totally worth the money you pay. We had one chicken casserole, chicken shish dish and a vegetarian grill plater. All very scrumptious!! Great service!

This was probably the best restaurant meal I have ever eaten. Lamb and chicken mixed grill was amazing. I never leave reviews, but this place is one of a kind.

We were extremely lucky to get a table for 2 walk-in, we watched many people be turned away due to the restaurant being fully booked. The food was exceptional! The trio of starters were simple but delicious & authentic, for our mains we had the sea bass & the Nar mixed grill, tge flavours were absolutely amazing. The waiter was positive & efficient and watching him single handed run the front of house & wait was an impressive spectacle.

The portion is big. The food quality is top marks. The service is really good, maybe there were not many people. I love it. Best of all dishes are halal except the lasagna.

Lamb shish and Lamb iskander were both beautifully cooked and tender. The baklava was the best I’ve ever had. Delicious meal and great service could not recommend more highly.

Really nice place. Loved the decor. Fast service didn't have to wait long for drinks or food, staff was friendly. Husband and myself had a starter grilled halloumi and the sausage, both served with a lovely fresh salad. For mains we had the Nar mixed grill and the chicken shish, both served with rice, couscous, flat bread, sauce and fresh salad. Food was amazing big portions go here hungry. We couldn't eat all the main, next time we wouldn't have starter. No parking as on the main street. Has clean toilets.

FANTASTIC! Had a late dinner here, best meal we've had in Scotland. We had the hummus sampler, lamb meatballs and roasted veggies, and baklava. Everything was SO good, fresh and flavorful, in a lovely place. Good value and excellent tastes. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I had the chicken and lamb shish with a portion of halloumi fries on the side. This was a nice meal for the both of us but my wife doesn’t eat much so if you may want a bit more. The food was excellent quality and the staff friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place.

From the first minute we walked into Nar the staff were very hospitable. Great ambience and atmosphere with tasty fresh food. The mixed grill was very good, chicken wings delicious and baklava with tea hit the spot. Overall very happy that we selected Nar and will definitely be back when we next visit Inverness in Scotland.

We ordered the mix platter and penne Masala it was absolutely phenomenal cooked to perfection and great service we didn't wait too long for the food i would definitely recommend and best part its halal other than the lasagne!

Very generous portions and tasty food. Was on a tour from New Zealand and I was very satisfied after the meal (main plus platter of bread and dips). Server was attentive and approachable. Not going to be everyone's "cup of tea" but I would certainly go back.

I had the £31 mixed grill, and my partner had the seafood casserole, and to be honest, neither meal could be faulted. If anything, the only issue I had was that my plate was not big enough, and everything kept spilling off! The place was not busy when we attended, and it was quite obvious that the server just wanted home! We didn't get offered a sweet or coffee. just asked if that was us finished! It spoiled what was otherwise a very pleasant dining experience. Food is excellent but on the expensive side!

Had a wonderful time here, went for my wife's birthday dinner and as we were late all the cake shops were closed. So we asked Raheed (restaurant staff) about the concern, he assured us that he will make something special with Baklava and give it is for our celebration, and sure he did, he decorated one plate of Baklava so beautiful that we both were very happy. We had good food as well. Highly recommended to try. And special thanks to Raheed, he is saviour and a very genuine person.

Simply the best food I've eaten in the last couple of years - We had the Lamb Chops and Shish King Prawns and they were both outstanding -It was a Friday night and quite quiet inside-both really worth a visit if you liked your Med Food

My wife and I really enjoyed eating here. We shared the trio as a starter and each had an entree and it a huge amount of food. All of the food tasted excellent and the staff were friendly and prompt.

Had an evening meal here. Service was good. Food was lovely and well presented but plentiful so go hungry. Place gets very busy so go early as they were turning people away.

My partner and I are real foodies and regularly eat out. Being in the Midlands we have a massive selection from a wide variety of cuisines to eat so when we head up to Scotland we find the options are limited so this was a good find. Looking at the menu I fancied most things that were there and wasn't disappointed with my choice. The food is well cooked, good flavours and there is plenty of it. It is well worth a visit.

The was absolutely amazing. We went to Prime the night before across the river, and Nar was so much better. The meat was amazing here. So much flavor in the chicken and the pita was incredibly fresh. The service was also amazing: very kind and quick. Cannot recommend this place enough. Definitely 5/5 stars for us!

Tender and full of flavor. Highly recommend this hidden gem! With food this good it won’t stay hidden for long.
