Wow! We turned up because we believed there was a special offer and there wasn't - totally our mistake! We stayed because the food looked SO good and I am telling you were not disappointed in any way. In fact, the food was worth every penny of the full price!! I have had hummus before - but not this hummus. My friend had the latte and said it was the best she ever had. I order the lamb pieces - sweet, tender and utterly delicious. And for those who are gluten-free there are only a couple of items on the menu that you can not eat - you can even eat the fabulously delicious chocolate brownie. Stunning place. Go.

A Persian gem hidden in an otherwise uninspiring street off Oxford St. This is splendid cooking from a small newish west end venture. A small cafe-restaurant serving limited but outstanding food at modest cost. The Aubergine based Kashk was tremendous, served with outstanding and probably home made wholemeal pitta. The excellent waiter Ramin recommended a Lamb Shank special which was delicious, served with long grain Persian rice, spiced and mixed with hidden taste delights. It was a fabulous meal on a street side table in a sadly dull street. Internally small, the place is well set out and nicely furnished. This is a secret to know about and return to. Lunches must be fantastic. The Malbec by the glass was pretty ordinary but there are other choices. This place deserves to be much bigger and a more prominent location. Food this good should be everywhere.
