Nando's - Wood Green in Haringey

Today just casually decided to have a cheeky Nando’s and surprisingly the staff was actually good , nothing compared to the one in Finsbury Park !! Ricky and a black guy who runs food served me and my brother properly keep it up !!!!!

The staff name Ahmed, takes order, horrible... he doesn't have basic ideas about how things works. Doesn't have any manner how to do customer service, I don't know what's training he had or not at all. Very poor.

The chicken was cooked how I ordered it and the customer service was excellent.

A worker, whose name I believe is Maida was so lovely. Me and my mother dined there and she was so welcoming and showed great hospitality from the moment we walked in and the moment we left. 10/10 service, thank you Maida!

Just order my wood from them there is no sauce no peri peri salt and sweetcorn both of them they are rubbish and chicken have no taste all over is rubbish they are good before now overall they are rubbish never will order from them again and I will my family and friends never order from Wood Green Nando’s

Food was great as well as our waiter Ahmed. He was very polite, accommodating and helpful, answering all my questions and resolving any concerns. 5/5 will come again. Thank you to Ahmed and the Wood Green team!

Quality meals at reasonable prices with good facilities

Lovely food, excellent service and great atmosphere! The music was amazing too! It was quite busy for a Tuesday late afternoon, but we were seated fairly quickly! I would imagine there would be quite a wait for a weekend or a Friday night. Try and book/call in advance if you have will be going with a large group. 10/10 would recommend.

Was served by Allen today I think he’s name was.. great costumer service and very polite super helpful I was missing food and I’m pregnant and he was back within 2 minutes thank you type of costumer I like to receive you need more staff like that

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I have been ordering online, and currently have 8 chillies rewards. All these orders come without the sachet sauce. Today I called to resolve the problem and the lady who picked up the phone lacks customer service. She told me that there is nothing she can do if they do not receive the sachet. When I asked her for her name, she told me that she is not 'required to give a name' Mind you, I was not complaining. I just needed a resolution to my concern. Guess what? You are not getting my order again!!!

As far as I’m concerned, this Nandos branch sets the BAR! My cousin and I have been going here since it opened and we are fussssssy! Need those wings well done, breast piece not that leg thanks …. and when that food arrives, 😚🤌🏼 it’s always banging! The staff are real friendly, attentive and this creates a nice atmosphere! I’ve been to other Nandos and you get the feeling of ‘let’s get you in, fed, and out for the next people.’ Never at this branch! I drive in from Stevenage to eat here as the two we have in town are just not up scratch. 10/10 Woodgreen!

Caesar salad had way too much sauce on it and the ice cream machine wasn't working. On the other hand you're in wood green, did you expect caviar? Overall very decent place

Nandos’s is my favourite restaurant but our experience yesterday was horrendous. Longest wait ever. Ordered a peri-tamer chicken pitta and received a chicken breast with NO sauce at all, and half a spoonful of rainbow slaw, if that. Waited over half an hour just to receive that. Lucky I didn’t take pictures and my parter didn’t want to complain.

I'm very angry because yesterday I bought 3 chickens with 12 servings of chips to take away. When I got home, my surprise was that the order was incomplete, 4 portions of chips were missing and the chickens were given to me without the respective sauce. Date: 04/JUL/2024 Order T1-589.

I have visited this Nando’s three times in the past week due to its proximity to my gym, and each visit has been increasingly regrettable. During my first visit, my friend and I were made to wait for seating despite there being several available tables for six. The manager, a black lady with short hair, informed us that we couldn't be seated at one of these tables because they were for larger groups. However, a couple was seated at a table for six right behind us. On my second visit, my friend received his food 25 minutes after ordering, while my order arrived 15 minutes after he had finished eating, despite us ordering simultaneously. Today, on my third visit, I requested water glasses from a staff member (Polish/Romanian looking lady) who informed me she was going on break and instructed me to ask someone else. When I requested she inform another staff member, she dismissively told me that I should go and do it myself. To make matters worse, my chicken salad arrived with the chicken served ice-cold. Once again, my friend’s food arrived only after I had finished my meal. The manager brought our food slowly and appeared indifferent to our experience. When I raised these concerns with the manager, she defensively fixated on irrelevant points about our seating choices, rather than addressing the real issues of poor service and cold food. Her dismissive attitude reflects a complete disregard for customer service. Additionally, the soft drinks taste acidic and lack flavor, and the water machine in the upstairs seating area has been broken since my first visit. Overall, the service at this Nando’s is appalling, with unprofessional staff and unacceptable delays. The management appears more interested in being right than in providing a quality dining experience. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Our server Joao was amazing! Helped me select a great meal and was very friendly as well as patient when it came to helping me out. Made my experience a great one, will be glad to be back soon! Definitely recommending to my mates. Thank you Joao!

Nice location, plenty of seating, ordering was quick, even though the order via app wasn't working, when we went. Food was tasty and came quickly even on a busy Saturday.

Only flaw was someone gave away my table while I was ordering but luckily the customers who were sat there moved over to the next table. This is where the lovley birds on sticks come in handy so staff know what tables are taken. Otherwise it's a really nice place to eat the staff we're very friendly and polite and yes I would visit again

Ordered a collection take away at nandos wood green and had to wait an extra 15 minutes past my collection time. A day later i was vomiting and having stomach problems, i believe i have food poisoning. There needs to be a health and hygiene check done at this restaurant as this is unacceptable.

I always go Woodgreen Nando’s and get good service and food but this time very very disappointed may new management and new roles .food was dry than I was with 2 families and kids as we were 15 ppl and they send us upstairs and drink machine wasn’t working and no one tell us b4 if we sit upstairs there is no drinks as we was with kids and kids start running down to filling drink and I ask manager why they didn’t tell us b4 drinks machine not working and she said we don’t tell ppl unless they ask and she start arguing I explain her as I have Indian restaurant and this is my duty to tell customer if I have something not available specially if main dish or drink but she keep arguing and I asked if kids get slipped than who is responsible she said not us but end is we spent 150 pound and left the restaurant. I am sorry but service was 0 0 0

I’m just courteous why NHS get a discount and the discount for Social Worker has been removed?? Don’t forget we work just a hard for the community in addition, during covid we were going to children’s homes to check on them, to ensure they were safe, placing ourselves at risk. We normally have a good experience at this Nandos but on this occasion we found the food was cold on arrival to our table, especially the chips and rice. The service was good while taken our first order but later we ordered dessert that we never got . After waiting 45 minutes we requested a refund on leaving and found the member of staff to be very rude. No apology, was told the money had to be refunded by cash even though we paid by card with no explanation . Very bad attitude.

Went to the Wood Green branch yesterday, probably one of the worst Nandos that exists, its dirty, tisssues and rubbish under tables, staff lazy and don't put sauces back, ketchup bottles filthy leaking everywhere, no cuttlery, no straws, the peach iced tea was watered down sooo much, disgusting! The food was not good either, got the new loaded wrap... do not get, its cold and full of wet leaves and brown avocado! The mac'n'cheese was just boiled pasta, no sauce just oily crumbs on top, the burger had a huge top and litetally a mm sized soggy bottom. The staff taking orders are confused, ordered 2 drinks was on the bill and the guy said "do you want drinks" erm yes if that's what I paid for.

First time here and it was amazing. Ibrahim amazing service and helped us with everything.will definitely be coming back

Took forever for food, when it was served it was raw. There were no folks had to wait over 20 mins

Oh well, once again you forgot to put full order in the bag - my kids were left without their lunch.. you should be checking orders before giving them to the drivers but yet you manage to disappoint again. When I contacted the customer service I was only offered £7.25 of refund which is not great considering I need to ask my kids to sit and watch me eating and order again the food which £7.25 of your refund is not even covering - not very fair resolution for the customer is it? But I assume you are only looking after your business so this is not an issue for you..

This Nando’s was great, but you never know the portion size your going to get. I ordered the family sharing meal and both times the chips was a small chips. The first time I went to this nandos the chips size was great now they cut the chips down Garlic bread was not a large, so I had to order another chips separate from the family platter. Only then you could see it was a large chips. The guy in the think he’s acting manager followers his waiters , he will also come up to you and his waiter and listen to the customers then answers the customers question when the customers never approached him in the first place kinda rude. He’s always in the red shirt, kinda unhygienic. He doesn’t even smile at customers. Rest of the customers service is great but the kitchen are confused on portion size. I actually feel I’m wasting money in nandos and can get better value on the high road.

Enjoyed a lovely mother's day here. It was very busy but the staff were helpful, professional, friendly and calm. Food for all of us was delicious, good portions and price was very reasonable. Nice atmosphere, space and clean. Definitely worth a trip.

The customer service received by Lucas was amazing and top notch ,he truly cares for the customer, I would give 5 stars but i ordered extra hot chicken but they just put a spot of extra hot sauce in one place of the chicken the rest just plain , which i am very disappointed with , i understand it was busy however to spend £50 plus on two chicken platters you expect the sauces and chicken to be better presented then that however the chicken was well cooked , Only let down by the sauce issue on the chicken which should have been sauced properly and not just in one spot .

Extremely bad customer service. They forgotten to bring our food and they saw we were without and nobody cared to stop us and ask if all was okay or not. Disgusting and extremely disappointing.

Nice cheeky nandos near cinema, ordered via app and food was fresh as always

I was in Nandos Wood Green, and I have to congratulate them for the great welcome and service. The quality of the food was excellent, fresh and tasty. We drank Sagres and were perfect cold. The atmosphere was amazing. Perfect volume of the music, friendly staff, and clean and tidy environment. Thanks to all the team for your service. I recommend Nandos for having a great lunch or dinner.

This is a complaint regarding jordi the man that served me on the 31/01/2024 his behaviour was absolotely racist and discriminatory. I want the Nando’s Wood Green manager to be made aware and to contact me and I also want Nando’s to contact me to discuss this. I am a loyal customer, I come here every week, whenever I come for a meal I feel worried about whether the staff are going to be rude to me I mean it’s happened in the past. I’m so scared to even come here now. I went to the till to order and jordi this Spanish looking man was serving me. I showed my NHS card and he squinted his eyes and he said it’s not me. I was wearing a hijab in the photo. He said “I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE LIKE YOU DO THIS THATS NOT YOU”. i work at a local hospital and do so much voluntary work for the nhs I felt extremely upset. Jordi was extremely aggressive and this comment is RACIST. I then showed another ID card to prove that’s me as it had the same name. He then said “I don’t know why people like you in your religion take off their headscarves” he was practically shouting at me I then said it’s my descion and he was like yeh but it doesn’t make any sense He was first racist and then he’s questioning my religious clothing and being islamophobic and a mysoginist Because of people like him I’ve felt like I need to take my hijab off to assimilate into society I used my green reward, and then he was like “THAT WILL ONLY BE SIX POUNDs” clearly annoyed Jordi its not right to act like this in this country we don’t stand for racism and islamophobia I have attached the receipt and time and I will gladly point out who the person was I want the head of Nando’s to contact me email

Was seated and served by Alex whose was so accommodating, checking if we were happy with our food and even gave a free dessert since we were regular customers !

Horrible branch ! Location was ok close to the tube. But workers are horrible degenerates who look down upon you don’t do enough to provide a welcoming atmosphere, and they all seem angry for some reason . Seen better nandos branches

Chicken wings were burnt and bitter. We requested replacement which came with wrong sauce. Chips were great and customer service was excellent.

Very unhappy… The back of the restaurant smells very bad, so we asked to be sited in a dif place but the co worker was very unpleasant and refused. So we decided to take away. Conclusion : *The restaurant was quiet and more table were available. *We wait 35min for the food *We arrived home and guess what - the order was wrong * We called the restaurant and a lovely lady pick up the phone and offered a voucher, but we repete our name / tel/ email more than 6 times. I believe the line was bad

The atmosphere and service was great however the Mac and cheese does not taste good at all. I don’t think think it’s seasoned well and honestly it taste like garlic sauce with pasta and it’s not cheesy at all.

Ordered a boneless wrap, food turned up with two sharp bones inside of it, spoken to Nandos customer service who were absolutely useless and said send an email and they will reply in 48 hours. Tried to call Wood Green Nandos 3/4 times and it just rings no one answers.

Food was cold and they only sent ten chips in a portion. Shame, cos I order from them twice a week and will have to stop doing that now.

The atmosphere was peaceful when I went For the food, it was half cold For the service, I was appaled the lady that served me and my associate pretended like I wasn't there, my associate was mixed race and so gave me the impression she has a colour issue Overall, was made feel welcome, or my business was wanted It's been years since I went to Nandos, and I used to love going there, but prices went up too much, so I stopped going and came back to this. very disappointing

Nando's does not disappoint for those that appreciate the food. This site is no different. The only let down was the amount of times we were asked if everything was ok, while with our mouths full on all occasions which became annoying after the third time. Restaurant had plenty of empty tables at the time, so it was not as if the table was needed and they were hurrying us to leave. Sat on the ground floor area, by the stairs, so had one of the girls standing there and who I assume was the manager standing behind us. Sat on the first floor previously, which was a more intimate and enjoyable experience.

First of all everything good staff ready friendly and good atmosphere, when I arrived with my mother the music was really loud for us so we ask to the the staff to put it down and they did which I appreciate, special thanks to Charlotte, the only negative point I would give it's they where low staff so they took a bit of time to get the food and the drinks, even do the food took hes time the drinks came even later, apart from that its a nice place to go with your family

Absolutely terrible service No apologies, just pure rudeness from staff making it personal They enabled others to push in front of us. The staff were very argumentative and whispered about us as we sat to eat very unprofessional service and substandard service. I will never visit this branch again! Management and staff both the same no one is setting the standard. Comments such as they are difficult people and they are so difficult is not what I expect to hear from a professional well known restaurant. Very confrontational and lack of customer service

Great service, clean toilets, the chicken livers were back on the menu. 5/5.
