Under cooked chicken and rude staff

Been to many a Nando’s in my time, but this was probably the best. Spacious, well kept, staff were on the ball.

I don't understand how people can pay for this quality of food, for me it's very difficult to call this food, after eating it gives you diarrhea and stomach pains. The glasses with sauce look and feel like they don't get cleaned as they are sticky and smell strange.

Good food first time for us had no idea what to order will try again

Just got back from Nandos, haven’t been for years. What a wonderful welcome we got from the GM and his team! Every thing is so easy to book now by scanning a bar! Within 5 minutes we had our glasses for drinks and the meal was only a 10 minutes wait!! Piping hot delicious chicken and fries and side dishes!! We will be back, thankyou GM and his team.

The place was absolutely filthy, the seats had food and hair on and the waitress tried to get us to sit there without cleaning it, the place was empty and you could see the state of the floors, table/chairs and even the grease on the menus and no one on front of house was even bothering to clean up.

I’m Coeliac and felt well looked after with top quality food!

Most of the drinks are sugar free and they've removed salt from the table too. I don't need mothering by Nandos. If I want healthy, I'll go the gym. Bring back full sugar Fanta

Lovely place to eat. Nice and friendly.

Everything was spot on. Food delicious have been a few times, and I can't say I have been disappointed.

Staff were all really friendly and helped with blue light card, food came out quick and order was perfect... Most importantly, the food was excellent, best Nandos I've been to, wife and son agreed. Manager was absolutely lovely when I asked to speak to her... Think she was fearing a complaint lol. Will definitely come again... THANKYOU!

I visited Nando's Wigan recently, and while the food was decent, I couldn’t help but feel it was massively overpriced for what you get. Most of the cost seems to have gone into the packaging rather than the food itself. After spending £50 on an order, I ended up needing a full paper bin just to dispose of all the packaging! It’s not great for the environment and feels like such a waste. Definitely not the value or sustainability I was expecting.

Chicken pink and raw in the middle, complained and they gave us another meal however the thought of vomiting later this evening ruined the dining experience. Complained to the manager and asked for a free desert as compensation for being out of our meal, she had a shocking attitude and in the end walked off, maybe she needs retraining….

Pedí dos comidas de pollo mariposa y ambos tenían pollo rosa crudo en el medio. Se ofreció otra comida, pero la idea de vomitar en las siguientes 4 horas me desanimó. Quejado a la gerente que nos miró como si fuéramos retrasados cuando pedimos un desierto libre como compensación. El gerente podría estar mejor volviendo a McDonald’s para refrescar sus habilidades alimenticias y de cliente.

Impeccable food, however instead of two sides it should be 1 side and 1 drink, other than that it was brilliant

Overall very disappointing. I went late as I knew it would be quiet, I'm a regular to Nando's . I think the lady was new , or not well trained . She didn't sit me down , I had to go to her . I ordered and saw the food sat waiting ( was made in 5 mins ) so not fresh I don't think . I had to ask for the server to bring the food . Which was cold, and the cheese wasn't even slightly malted , at this point no cup was brought over either for drinks . So I got somthing extra , hoping for warm food . It was much better . But had no check back on the food . Also the toilets was very dirty This isn't the normal standard of service I have become a custom to with Nando's

Ordered this on Deliveroo and my chicken was raw if I could post the videos here I would as the pictures don’t do it justice. Nothing has been delt with we had 3 chicken butterfly’s and it was the same in each one

Lovely atmosphere. We were a family of 7, we appreciated the large open space for kids to move around comfortably.

Great clean restaurant friendly staff

Great place to come for food. I tried the new dishes. Got the new cheesy garlic pitta as a starter and can highly recommend the cheesy chicken burger with the new Fanta orange sauce.

Mal servicio y mala actitud! Un miércoles por la noche a las 8 pm, esperaba 15 minutos para una mesa. El restaurante tenía algunas mesas vacías y no diría que estaba demasiado ocupado. ¿Llevado a nuestra mesa y sin envolturas ni pan de ajo? ¿Cómo puede ser esto con su ya pequeño menú? Mala gestión. Se decidió por la comida y subió al mostrador a pedir. Esperó 5 minutos antes de ser reconocido por nadie. Una mujer con una camisa rosa dijo ‘alguien llegará a ti cuando podamos’ - ¿qué? Entonces pregunté ¿por qué no puedes servirme? Escaso personal y estamos ocupados! ¡Siempre puedo pedir en la aplicación! Caminé de vuelta a la mesa donde la mujer de rosa sirvió a la mujer detrás de mí enseguida! Todavía no había terminado de ordenar la aplicación. Cuando finalmente trajo las bebidas y los vasos, trajo el agua equivocada, así que tuvo que volver a buscarla. Todos los aprendices en la cocina. ¡Meseras llorando! ¡Qué vergüenza! ¡No volveré a este establecimiento! ¡Tal vez los clientes deben ser advertidos sobre la entrada de escasez de personal y largas esperas! Vergüenza como las camareras de negro y la comida era muy buena!

First visit here and won't be in a hurry to go back. The staff looked so miserable as if they didn't want to be there. The food was bland and to top it off I found a back hard bit in my wrap told the manager or person in charge that shift and his response was oh is there anything else I can get you? As I explained no thank you I've been put off now and before I could carry and ask for a refund he grabbed the plates and walked off and went off into the back great 👍🏽

Nice lay out for a nandos but the food was bland and the staff all looked miserable. Definitely won't be coming back to this Nandos

I ordered a wrap with chips and also the pitta and humous to start The humous was Lovley however when I tried to order the fino pitta for my main it was out of stock?!?! So I got a wrap which came with sauce dried up on the plate along with a white hair….. I have jet black hair and then on top of this mine and my boyfriends chips where cold and so was his chicken Not to mention there was flys flying everywhere at least three on our table at one point Not sure what happened normally adore nandos

Wigan Nando’s is probably one of the best Nando’s I’ve been through the years. Staff are always friendly, in true Nando’s fashion get asked if the food is alright with a mouthful. Always a speedy service whether it’s eat in or takeaway, very clean and kept tidy. Also having an allergy it’s reassuring that the manager takes the order and the food prepared separately.

Cold sides, no cutlery, no napkins, generally messy and unclean. Not rushing back!

Our experience at Nando’s Wigan was absolutely delightful. The food was hot, fresh and quickly served by Emily. She was so polite and made our experience worth while.

We were celebrating our Granddaughter's 10th birthday. The staff made her day, making her feel special and singing Happy Birthday 🎂. Food was great too

Overpriced food. Chicken was ok but mash was totally dried out. Seat were very dirty and tables sticky.

Ten of us popped in after a work event this afternoon and were greeted by a lovely friendly gentleman who showed us to an area that was available. Service was fast speedy and we were asked numerous times if we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended.

I came here after 12 month of not coming due to a bad experience and I must say there was a massive turn over and I was really impressed. I have recently been diagnosed with celiac disease, which means I have an intolerance to gluten . The staff host Megan and Sophie was very welcoming and helped me with my options . They double checked everything in the allergen book to ensure I was okay with my order . To be honest I just couldn’t have any bread or pasta ,so I was lucky to a lot of options . The food came after 20mins and it was hot and very tasty . We also ordered the chocolate gooey browny with ice cream which was all gluten free . It was a busy afternoon and the kitchen staff was working so hard and all the waitresses was in their feet cleaning and helping all guest with food orders . We had two food check backs , to ask how the food was . After this experience, I will definitely come back because the staff they have here are a good team , the food was good and was a great option for gluten free ,which was fully checked by all staff when I made my order . I would like to give a special thank you to Megan and Sophie for tonight . You were great host

Visited Nandos for lunch with a colleague and my colleague found a beetle in her broccoli. The server asked her for her name so that she could fill out a foreign object form but there was no offer of a refund or discount for the meal. She'd only ate a quarter of it. Poor service

Friendly helpful staff, good but minimal service, but this is the Nandos model, so as expected. Food was tasty and well prepared

I recently visited the Nando’s in Wigan. This is the second review which I have put on about this Nando’s. The first time round wasn’t brilliant. The staff needed to pay more attention to how long the food was underneath. The food was there for almost 35 minutes. having said that 12 months down the line they seem to have got everything under control. The food comes out on time. It’s cooked properly and the orders are complete. Well done guys keep up the good work really big difference.

Came to Nando’s for some tea and it was amazing, kind welcoming staff, quick service and great portions! Would highly recommend

Lovely food and very quick service

Nando’s used to be my favourite, for a quick, good value meal. Value has now gone out of the window, would be cheaper to go to Miller and Carter midweek for a 2 course meal! £15 for butterfly chicken and 2 sides, £15!! Then £3.95 for a soft drink, it really takes the mick. Sides have shrunk, chicken has shrunk, service is minimal… What are we paying for? You order through an app, it’s self service and yet it’s almost £20 for a mediocre meal with no atmosphere. I eat out 2-3 times a week, but Nando’s is now struck off the list!

I have been critical in the past of here when the service has been poor so it’s only right to be recognised when the service is amazing and that’s exactly what it was today. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff service was amazing!

Terrible queuing system - not allowed to leave on half an hour wait unlike the online system at different nandos - everyone just stood in the middle of the restaurant - looks stupid

Im leaving this review because of the way my complaint was dealt with in store by Holly who was the shift manager at the time i arrived. I was pretty frustrated when i came in to the restaurant to order food to take out and to complain about my food i ordered the night before which was delivered with half of the stuff missing. Stuff has been missing before but this time I decided to chase it up. Her humour, the ability to listen, understand and patience defused my frustration within minutes. She is a great example how a manager should be and how things should be dealt with. She offered a good will gesture which was not needed because the problem was solved. She did anyway. Holly it is really appreciated and thank you for your help. You deserve the 5 stars.

£64 for the most tasteless, disgusting chicken burger ever. None of us enjoyed the food. It was bland and we all agreed KFC and McDonald's are way way more cheaper and tasty. Dirty cutlery also every knife had whoevers residue over it. A complete rip off. The only good side is the staff are lovely. Do better for the obscene prices.

It's just lovely. All the staff are really friendly and lovely. The food comes quickly, is delicious and hot. It's a cool atmosphere, clean and I can't go on enough about how nice and friendly the staff are. Fab. Thank you.

I was out shopping 🛍 in Wigan,so I decided to pop into Nando's Wigan. It's the very first time I've ever been to a Nando. Upon arrival, the staff were very welcoming and directed us to a nice table. The service from the staff was excellent there are all very polite and friendly young ladies. Regarding the food, it was better than I expected, although I thought my chicken burger 🍔 was a little small for the cost of £9.75 it was tasty, though. Overall the food and service were very good and a nice relaxed atmosphere within the restaurant. I'd definitely recommend this Nando 👌🏿 pop in if you fancy some chicken 🐔.

One of the managers was so rude towards us, kept cutting us in as we was trying to explain why are food was taking so long, she kept contradicting herself saying the order hadn’t come through and then saying it was because we had starters she then left our table and soon came back said to tell us we had only been waiting half an hour with a bad attitude. We normally come every week for lunch and she’s never been working it’s always the lovely sam, we will not be returning if the rudeness carry’s on from her.

We went after a trampolining comp at Robin Park leisure centre. We timed it badly as Wigan football team had just finished playing and the queue was big. The staff took names and gave wait times, and we were seated whilst we waited. The staff were really friendly despite being very busy, and we were seated much faster thay the wait time we were given. Good food and good service.

Staff were rude and ignorant, food came out freezing and undercooked.

This franchise is one of the biggest and most modern Nandos in the area. I've visited the venue on several occasions and it is always consistent and as expected. . Nandos is always a really reliable option when you want a good value for money place to eat. The Wigan franchise is definitely one of the best. . Plenty of free car parking on site and close to all the other shops / eateries on the robin park complex.

Really like this place it's a new premises and well kept, food is great and staff are friendly.

We must have arrived at a busy moment as we were left standing around at the entrance door without knowing whether we needed to wait or just find our own table. Service was slow but waitress was very pleasant. Food was slow but very tasty and well cooked, nicely presented

I believe in second chances and I was hungry. This visit was totally different. The food was really nice and well proportioned. Me and my wife both had Sunset burgers which I have to say we're really tasty.

I’m in the Nando’s right now and i ordered like one hour before and im still waiting for the food you guys are horrible besides waiter come here right now and saying that they are out of the chicken WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ONE HOUR BEFORE

Rename the 'chicken butterfly' to 'sparrow butterfly' and you'll get an idea of how relentless the shrinkflation has been here. for the ~£15 you pay for a peri-peri sparrow breast here + 2 ever decreasing sides, you can get I'd say 4 - 5x the amount at Tribez Grill with their Madagascar whole chicken (same price). Last time for us.

Great warm welcome, lovely food as haven't been for years and had the salad bowl with halloumi. Yummy! Clean toilets, great service but please, stick a note on the door that doesn't open outside saying "use other door"!

Not been to Nandos for 20 years. Don't know why. I thought the food was tasty, really easy concept and good value. I will be back.

Ordered food and was waiting a hour for it when I asked where it was they said it was next out then 20 minutes after the food finally arrived and when it did the order was wrong. Will definitely not be going back

Food is always great but tonight service was a little slow, which we really didn’t mind but Alesha was absolutely amazing making it up to us. She is an absolute credit to the restaurant 😊

This was only my second visit to a Nando's. It wasn't too busy, although a few tables were waiting to be cleared. We both had lemon and herb - burger, chips and coleslaw and wings, chips and salad. The food was good, but nothing fantastic and there wasn't a huge amount of meat on the wings. We both thought we might try something a bit spicier next time, and I'd probably choose a different chicken item. Did appreciate the bottomless soft drinks.

Visited before a Wigan Warriors game. Staff welcoming and helpful and service was quick. Great food as always with Nando's.

We went here for evening meal it was the most disgusting food. Chicken was dry, loaded fries cold and no cheese on them, corn had gone bad and coleslaw was the cheapest every tasted. The meal wasn’t fit for consumption. Service was good but the atmosphere was drab.

Visited Nandos after shopping on the retail park only to be hit with a £100 parking charge for overstaying on the car park. Won't be visiting again.

Went for a lunch date with my wife. The music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. The service was lovely but didn't enjoy the food. Really didn't like the 1/2 chicken and some of the side dishes were so hard couldn't even eat them. We did explain to the server that these where too hard to eat and they did apologize but no substitute was offered considering they wasn't even touched because we couldn't bite into them. Left very hungry. Definitely the last time for us.

My food had not arrived by the time everyone else had already eaten and was ready to go home
