Nando's - Sheffield in Sheffield

Still received NO REFUND. Collection - given something totally different to the item ordered. It is also burnt. Only offered refund and no replacement. The ‘manager’ on Sunday 3rd November was unhelpful and rude. Wouldn’t recommend if you want to order something in particular, not a lucky dip.

Fanta sauce not for me. Everything the rest off the night tasted of Fanta.

Lots of smoke coming from the grill area. It is very unpleasant and irritating the eye and lungs.

Early Friday evening and a little quiet. Service team were very friendly. Food was good and came out quickly.

Came in around 8:45pm, and was greeted straight away. Great service from everyone we came across, very friendly and smiley. The two waitresses (Sophie and Robyn) were extremely helpful and polite, and explained everything brilliantly. The Manager Brad was also very helpful, and checked on us several times throughout our meal. At the end, they also offered us 2 x complimentary desserts to take back to our hotel. All of the team members were very courteous and helpful from being seated to clearing the plates. It was early evening so the restaurant was not busy. The food was excellent apart from the Portuguese tomato salad that was missing one type of tomato and the onion. Apart from that the restaurant and those that were working could not be faulted.

I ordered the chicken butterfly and it tasted good with the sauce but this was £9.50. I don’t know what I expected to be fair but Nando’s definitely ain’t worth the money.

Nandos West St is always a lovely place to visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and has everything you need. The food is always cooked very well. You can order on the app or at the counter. I would always recommend having the halloumiu on the side.

Two gentlemen ran the whole restaurant today better than I’ve ever seen a restaurant run before. If I had a hospitality store, these would be the two I’d hire first.

I visited this place yesterday with a friend, and I must say, the chicken was the most tasteless I've ever had, and the fries were served cold. Given the quality, it certainly doesn't justify the price I see no reason to return

The food was tasty and place was clean. However the waitress called Anna was frowning and rolling her eyes while she was taking our order. She has attitude and she should be working behind not on the tills. My daughters noticed her which puts them their food. Poor customer service.

Yesterday I’ve been through a very traumatizing and stressful situation in the restaurant. My friend and I sat in the table and made our order. 10 minutes later , homeless dangerous person entered the restaurant approached us and creepily sat next to me!, and started throwing words at us. I quickly shouted out at one of the waiters to move us to a different table and she just said take your food and go to whatever table you want! How rude! I moved to the next table and the dangerous person got very furious , was screaming and insulting us was with so many bad words. Then I desperately asked the waiter to help with anything. She called the Manager ( with thanks) and the manger came in and politely asked the person to leave the restaurant. This dangerous person was then waiting for me outside to get his revenge. I felt unsafe at this moment and asked the manager to help us by sneaking us out of the restaurant through the personnel staff exit door , he said no I can’t help you this time, you do you lad!!!!! , luckily we managed to escape. The manager’s attitude was rude and irresponsible, how come u see someone in danger , in your restaurant , asking for help and you turn your back to him. Will never go to this restaurant ever again, and I urge everyone to remain vigilant when eating in Nando’s west street!

I ordered a Portuguese roll burger which according to Google it should be a soft and fluffy roll. Mine was like a brick if I thrown it at the window it would have broken the glass. I mentioned this to a waiter who said its because the rolls are made in the morning. No apology forthcoming. Would not recommend this restaurant unless you want appointment with the dentist the next day.

Quiet visit to this Nandos today at lunchtime. Greeted and seated very quickly, used the QR code to order food with no issues. Food was served fairly quickly and the staff serving were polite and friendly throughout. Do have to knock a star off for the condition of some of the furniture, all seemed clean but particularly there was a large rip in the upholstery of one of the bench srats.

Thank you to the whole Nando’s team for loooking after and serving me and my team late at night, we really appreciated it :) defo be back again

Amazing food, great service, staff were friendly. We have had an amazing time enjoying our late lunch. We were overwhelmed by the freshness of the food, it was straight from the grill and still hot. Been to quite a lot branches in London but this was a winner. You hardly get popping hot food in any London branch. We went at this branch on university open day. So you can imagine how busy they can be. But no compromise with their quality of food and service.

Good food, tastes fresh and the service is very attentive and helpful. 100% recommend :)

I have just ordered a collection and again I’m very disappointed about the food as the chicken was undercooked!! Every time I ordered a collection or delivery from this restaurant the chicken arrived undercooked like they not even bothered to put it on the grill! I’m a regular and the only time they send the 1/2 chicken cooked was when I had called them after I placed the order via nandos delivery/collection website or delivero as there is no column anywhere to specify that ! A-lot of hassle to call and mention all the time this issue! Would definitely not recommend this place!

It isn't normal for me to leave a review for places that I visit, even more uncommon for a restaurant. I won't comment on the food, as it's Nando's, it's what you'd expect from a Nando's. However, this particular one has very friendly staff and excellent management. When my mother came to visit Sheffield recently, she wanted to go for something to eat, so we decided on here. She has very specific dietary restrictions for health reasons, so when we ordered, we got the wrong order (admittedly my fault). However, despite it being my fault for the order being wrong, the waiting staff and management were more than happy to go out of their way to correct it at no extra cost. Honestly, it was immensely appreciated and made our day.

Lovely food as usual. However it took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. We asked to speak to the manager who was apologetic and offered us desserts or drinks to take away. We were very limited with time so declined. It would have been helpful if the staff could have advised of a delay rather than just leave us waiting.

We went into the restaurant and they didn't have half of the menu available. None of the staff informed us before ordering via the app. Frustrating!

Always good food at a Nando’s. The Halloumi is fantastic. If you always go for Chicken Breast I would suggest you start eating Chicken Thighs. More flavor, moist and cheaper! I’m holding on for the hope that they will have a larger expansion in the US.

Just like any other Nandos, food is decent and speedy. located on a busy street and easily accessible. Staff are really nice and friendly.

Prices have gone up but the menu is the same... at weekend this place can be uncomfortably busy and if you haven't booked a table, you can end up waiting up to 40 min. Tasty food but the increased prices don't offer nothing different to the customer's experience 😣😣😣

Absolutely vile, ordered an extra hot chicken burger with halloumi, came absolutley drowned in ketchup.. inedible, massive waste of money. Won't be back. Staff were lovely though

Been before and great this time worst nandos experience. Broccoli tasted fishy...no garlic taste...chips cold....returned wrap hardly any chicken, very little cheese. Disappointed

You know what you are going to get with Nandos, but west street has really great staff. Went in with a 2 year old and they were great with her!

Staff couldn't be more helpful, second time I've been here and the service is still outstanding, I was very stunned to be served my meal within 10 mins of entering, might of been good timing but was excellent for me noted the way they dealt with other issues, very highly recommended.

My husband and I went to Nando’s after meeting there 5 years ago, and the restaurant did not disappoint. We’d been given a gift card which wasn’t working on the till, so instead they gave us the entire meal for free! Wonderful people and food, it made our evening even more special.

The menu is no longer on paper, just a qr code thing. But I scanned that I got a blank page on my phone instead of a menu.

On a trip to Sheffield, I treated my sister to her third ever Nando's. We were seated immediately by a young gentleman. We ordered via the app but unfortunately had to wait 20 minutes for our glasses for the bottomless fizzy pop to arrive, so I had to get up and sort it out myself. To make up for it, we had four fizzy drinks each. I don't usually drink fizzy drinks so I was bouncing off the walls by the end of it. To eat, I got the butterfly chicken, peri salted chips and garlic bread. How carbolicious! I opted for medium spiciness and honestly that was way too much for me. That's part of the reason I drank so much fizzy pop, to cool myself down. How firey. My sister got the grilled chicken wrap, lemon and herb, which she found too spicy. I think plain is the way forward! She also got the spicy rice which was nice but tastes so much like Uncle Ben's microwave rice...anything to confess, Nando's?

Today I and my friend arrived at the busiest time and we were taken care by Drew (hope I got the name right) during our visit. We were given a comfortable table with ample space, helped great knowledge and hospitality throughout, and treated with utter professionalism and kindness! The food was fresh and delicious and the whole staff was very helpful. Definitely gonna visit again, thanks a lot!! <3

Never busy here and the service was quick and good portion size.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Ordering is now done via a QR code on the table, this wasn't explained to us as the waitress just walked us to a table and disappeared. Male toilets are a mess with urine and toilet paper all over the floor, women's toilets were also dirty with the sanitary bins overflowing. Walls and floors are mucky with food droppings and scuff marks from years of people sliding in and out of the booths. Food was OK but nowhere near as good as Nandos food I've had from other restaurants. Coke Zero was off and like brown water, staff did not thank us for our visit upon leaving and ignored us after bringing our food.

Had to wait for a table even though the place was 3/4 empty and there were plenty of staff about. We were left sat for over half and hour waiting for desserts (again, despite the place being mainly empty). After asking where our desserts were we were only then told that they didn’t have any. They said they would need to refund us but would only refund us cash (even though we paid on card). Staff couldn’t care less

one staff is quite unfriendly, we got 2 people and she only gave 1 menu, when I asked her for another one she seems unwilling to help. Who knows, maybe because I'm Asian.

First time to a nandos . Had to make a sodding account just to get the menu up so i can be bombarded by emails “because of covid” . Staff : Quick and friendly Food : Absolutely nothing like what it looked on the menu . Expected a flatbread half with grilled chicken inside and melted cheese , got a sorry excuse for a flatbread with the smallest single peice of chicken i have ever seen in my life and a big slab of sweaty cheese at the bottom just chillin there . Drinks : I assume this is how bottomless works but just coming to the table with a cup is a bit ridiculous , could atleast just fill it the first time like every other restaurant ever . Iv already had to download an app go through a 2fac authenticator just to order and now i have to fill my own drink aswell . Want me to wash up ?? Overall: I have never complained or reviewed anywhere before but i gotta be honest and put this on here . Think il just go KFC next time and get twise the amount for half the price and my drink filled for me . Biggest issue was still the ordering i cant imagine anyone over the age of 40 could order first time .

We tried the vegan friendly 'Great Imitator' burger, a pea protein offering which was very tasty, as were the seasoned fries. The restaurant itself was quite smart and I particularly liked the quirky collection of ceiling lamps made from buckets, including an old red fire bucket.

We called into Nando's and were asked to leave a phone number as it would be 20mins until we could be seated. No-one called or texted but we went back after half an hour or so and were seated immediately. All the ordering and paying is done by mobile phone and this was easy and convenient. Staff seemed to have a good grip on what they were doing and we felt safe and valued. The menu has some new items so that was good too. Would recommend it.

We recently had Deliveroo deliver a take away meal and unfortunately the food was cold and there was an item missing. We called west st about the error and as a goodwill gesture offered us a free meal so we decided to go to the restaurant and have a sit down meal. Caitlin the manager was amazing and gave us a fab service! We are very much appreciative of the goodwill gesture Thanks
