Visited here at 1.15 on a Saturday afternoon prior to going to the football match at 3pm. On arrival it was very busy and we were fourth in line for a table. We were seated at about 1.30 and the food was ordered straight away. After 30 minutes and seeing people who had been seated after us getting their food I asked how much longer our food would be. Was told the sides were just getting put on and would be about 5 minutes. After another 15 minutes (by now it was 2.15 and we were getting nervous about time as the match was kicking off at 3pm) I asked again where the food was and advised the waitress that if it wasn’t coming out pretty quickly I would need a refund as we were running out of time. The waitress disappeared behind the counter looking rather confused (for the second time) then advised that the food was just coming out. We did get an apology about the delay and were offered free deserts however I declined these as we were struggling for time, there was no mention of a refund of any kind or a voucher for our next visit. The food wasn’t of the best quality. The chicken was slimy and I didn’t eat much of mine at all. One of the children had a kids meal but there was no mention of his ice cream. Given that it was now getting on for 2.35 I didn’t have any more time to wait as we needed to be at the football ground for 3pm. The whole visit cost around £50 and we didn’t enjoy it one bit. Very very disappointing and I think I will be reluctant to visit again. I wish I had spent half the money and went to McDonald’s. It would have been a much nicer experience. I have also sent an email to customer services and would appreciate a response.

We visited today for my daughters 16th birthday. There were 16 of us and it was very busy so we were preparing for plan b. Holly was not fazed at all by the large group and managed to seat us all in close proximity to each other. We were all extremely impressed by the friendly, efficient and accommodating nature of all staff, especially Holly and the restaurant was running like clockwork. Thank you 😊

Absolutely shocking experience at Nandos Middlesbrough this evening with family. Disgusting treatment by the Manager (Andy) who was rude and very unprofessional. Paying pricey prices for good food and good customer service- got neither! Food took over 45 minutes to arrive and staff were unfriendly and abrupt. Safe to will not be returning in a hurry!

Visited here on Saturday 5th August whilst up in Middlesbrough. Nando’s is our go to place with allergies, as they are so careful and this one didn’t disappoint. Manager took our order and oversaw the cooking of allergy meals. One server in particular caught my eye (sadly I didn’t get his name but he was younger lad) I saw him bring over the two non allergy meals and wash his hands before he brought over the allergy meals. Fantastic! So great to see someone taking allergies seriously. Thank you. 😊 All meals were hot, served in good time. Restaurant was clean and well stocked. Toilets clean and tidy.

We been to Nando’s a lot but now will never go back as staff in Middlesbrough branch are lazy and leave foid waiting to be served

Best Nando’s service is always quick and the food comes out piping hot in correct order starters then main. Staff always polite

Restaurant trip with two kids. Shown to table and told to order on the app. No menus, no activity sheet/menus for the kids .. so I can spend the next 20 minutes registering for an account and trying to make sure I've got everyone's order right whilst dealing with hungry kids (after I've passed my phone around so people can browse what the restaurant has) - or I can ask the loitering / bored looking staff members to take the order at the till like they used to. Also need to use a NHS discount code - didn't think an app/website would cater for that. Apparently you can table order if you dont want to use the app, but you have to wait for the orderer to be free (almost like for an appointment!). About 15 minutes later someone came and took our order (I did ask a couple of bored looking staff members if they could help - but they couldn't). Collected the usual sauce bottle collection - none of which were clean/wiped/sanitized etc Food was great when it arrived. Not a cheap restaurant (if restaurant is not stretching the definition too much). Its good "fast food" - but I think given cost of living crisis - we'll be eating out a lot less - and nandos wont be top of the list (despite this being my sons favorite)

After a long day, I called into Nando's quite late in the evening. Firstly, there were plenty of free tables yet I was forced to wait 20 minutes to be seated at a table that was free the whole time. I ordered immediately after entering, however ended up watching people strolling in, ordering and getting their food within 20 minutes while mine took over double that. Finally, 45 minutes later, the food arrived and I was ready to tuck in when the fire alarm rang. And rang. And rang. And rang. After the fourth ring, the restaurant was evacuated and nobody was allowed to re-enter for the rest of the evening. I had taken two bites of food. The staff seemed unprepared and clueless with both the food and the fire alarm situation and people ended up stood outside waiting for a good 20 minutes before we were offered refunds. A shoddy experience all round.

Had a delivery through delivroo. Worse food we have ever had had to chuck it all in the bin fast delivery but came stone cold tasteless and dry the chips soggy and cold. Sent an e mail a week ago and no response. In these difficult times have been trying to support businesses were ever possible but nando s clearly don't care about loyalty

Ordered on way home from work, 20 mins time frame, food ready upon arrival. Safe systems in place for covid-19 restrictions. Nice and easy to order online.

Only the second time I have eaten in a Nando’s restaurant and won’t be visiting again. The food was ok but nothing special and I found the bread way to hard for my liking. The service form the staff was really poor and one staff member was working the tills, serving tables and topping the sauces up all the time wearing the same pair off gloves ! Not acceptable handling money, tills buttons, receipts and serving food with the same gloves. All the time i felt very rushed, our main meals was brought out to us before we had finished our starters, no interaction with the staff just rush rush rush.

Offer delivery online but when you place the order they can’t be bothered to fulfil the order. In a time where bigger companies than them are going into liquidation they should be very careful, they won’t last if that’s how they treat the people that keep them going! And when you call they can’t be bothered to answer the phone, waited 20 minutes and was told I’m no 23 in the que, clearly many unhappy customers!

Need to sort your delivery service out. Was 15 mins after order placed was told the order hadn’t been accepted. Really poor customer service Nando’s

Food was ok but had to order and pay at counter, get our own drinks and cutlery. They had no corn on the cob or garlic bread. The last time we visited whilst going to cinema, they had no chicken. Not the way I would expect them doing business. If I wanted that service, I'd have gone to KFC or McDonalds

Booked the cinema and popped in for lunch! No chicken for 40 minutes. Offered burgers! Didn’t want a burger so we were asked to move aside to allow people behind us to come forward to be served! Nit happy! Ate elsewhere!

After a long day shopping and running about me and my brother decided to order a cheekie Nando’s with the Middlesbrough branch after placing the orders the food come in a very reasonable time but only just warm so we plated the food from the boxes of what isn’t very environmentally friendly with all the item been in there own box and not recyclable due to the food contamination I then cut into the chicken to see it was still pink so after calling the restaurant and been asked to email over a picture we were told that a team within the restaurant would have to contact us in a couple of day after looking into this with No offer of a refund or to replace the food but instead was told we could replace our order of cause at our cost but we only have 25 mins till the restaurant closed manager on shift deal with the situation well but the full experience has totally put us of a cheekie Nando’s

When I think of takeout I think a Chinese or pizza but tonight after a long day of running about me and my brother want something different and turned to Nando’s. The website was very easy to use and I felt that my personal data was securing so I went a head and placed my order. Couple of minutes after my order was placed a member of the staff called to tell me that they only had one piece of cheesecake left could they replace the other piece with anything else so I asked for the chocolate cake, not long after this the delivery drive phoned me asking where my flat was as they where unable to find it (in this time my food getting cold) after finding my address I got my food and cut into my chicken to find it was raw. I called the store and spoke to a team member who didn’t know what to do and passed me onto the manger, the manger asked if I could send pictures over to the store witch I done and at this point she said I am so sorry that is raw this never happens clearly a lie because it’s happening right now, after saying sorry she explains that this would need to be investigated with no mention of a refund she then said that I could simply place another order at my expense and have new meals sent out as she can’t do anything about the RAW food that could of potentially KILLED someone because it gets investergated external . This suggests to me that there chefs either dont know how to do there jobs or just don’t care I will never order from here again and would never recommend you do and it’s a take away invest in some plastic cutlery

We pop to this Nando's as the one at Teesside Park is terrible, it's not like a Nando's the service is terrible there and so unclean. We love the staff, food is tasty and a great offering as always, cannot fault Nando's especially this venue too, always clean, great staff, quick and hot and tasty food.Just 1 thing the portion sizes are being reduced even more, the chicken breasts must be halved more like a pigeon size now, I know it's better for us to eat less but if I'm paying good mid range money for a meal I know what size I'm looking for !!Overall perfection from Nando's here, many Thanks

My food was perfect. Chicken on the bone. The wife’s chicken butterfly was a little dry. Staff very friendly.

The chicken was well cooked, nice and juicy, although could of done with a little more flavour. The 'mild' chicken always used to be a little spicy, but didn't have a lot of taste on this visit. The 1/4 chicken is an excellent size and I'm glad I didn't go larger! As with the 2 sides, made a substantial meal - we opted for corn on the cob and chips, but also served spicy rice and a range of other sides.There were a few additions to the menu - including gourmet side options such as sweet potato mash and oven cooked vegetables, these were at a little extra cost.1/4 chicken with 2 sides, a starter and a drink came to £15 so good value. We visited after an England football match at nearby stadium so was very busy and we were lucky to get a seat. Service was fast though and we all enjoyed our meals.

Trying to eat sensibly as the boxing season is closing in I thought Chicken, but nice chicken so we came here it's been a long time, wasn't dissapointed had two fino chickens in a wrap and beautiful it was, followed by two brownies with vanilla gelado, still as good as ever, nice food decent prices and great staff, well looked after. Will return sooner next time.

Nandos has never let me down and this one did not ether. Great juicey tasty chicken extra hot crisp fries and friendly service. That's how it's done.

Had an amazing meal with servers Mollie and Ellie, never had Nando’s before but was shown what would be great for a virgin like myself. Medium butterfly with rice and fries. Will definitely be coming again

I was surprised to see that the restaurant was not as busy as Nando’s usually is. We were seated straight away by a friendly staff member who even gave us crayons and activity book for my daughter.

Lekker stukje kip gegeten bij Nando’s In Middlesbrough. Service was prima aardige werknemer bij de kassa die erg vrolijk was. Kip was heerlijk en vol van smaak (bbq smaak) je proeft dat de kip lang in de marinade gelegen heeft. Voor een fast food restaurant lekker eten. Persoonlijk vindt ik de Post Mix cola erg jammer en slecht van smaak (chloor), dit zouden flesjes of blikjes moeten zijn.

Nando's is Nando's. You go, are shown to a table, pick what you want from the menu, go and order before collecting your drinks and cutlery. Food is served to the table and is quite quick from ordering. It's hot and tasty anf the kids eat it - win win for us.

How this restaurant has branches all over the country ill never know. The service is terrible and the foods not much better. If you want Mccains chips and Uncle Bens rice but fancy paying 14 times the cost Nandos is the place for you. Ill never visit again. Avoid it.

Took my son and his friends for his birthday . Staff don’t seem to know there bottom from there elbow as the service was appalling . Then the working out the menu . Never in my life have I found ordering food for 7 people so stressful especially since there was no waitress service so had to borrow a pen and write our order down on a napkin then go to the bar . Then when the food came I’ve never been so disappointed in my life as to what was on my plate . I’d heard loads of people say Nando’s this Nando’s that . I thought is was the most revolting pile of rubbish chucked on a plate I’ve ever had the misfortune of clapping my eyes on . And wasn’t wrong I’d asked for the least spicy chicken but what I got was so hot you couldn’t taste the chicken . Found the whole experience and meal terrible and would never go again .

We visited early afternoon on a Monday ahead of visiting the Cinema next door.

Helpful, kind staff. The usual good food but there was a bit of wait but the food is freshly cooked so I’m not taking points off for that.

Not a huge fan of Nando’s anyway being vegetarian. One no one came to greet us as usual at Nando’s. Had to sit down then realised there were no food menus at the table. Had to get up to get some. Went to order the food and most vegi stuff wasn’t in stock so had to get something I didn’t really want. My dad loves it there so I got something I wouldn’t choose. Food was average and he even thought so when the past few times he loved the place. No one asked us if we knew how to order or were to get condiments. And that was it. No actual waiting service it might as well have been serve yourself. I’ve been to a few Nando’s around England and it’s safe to say this has been the worst customer experience I have had at one of these establishments. I won’t be returning.

I'm discussed to find out that I have no choice if I want to eat chichen at Nando's other than eat halal meat. If I served none halal meat I would be called a racist and probably made to sell both but I can guarantee one thing I won't visit again or recommend them to anyone

My girlfriend and I visited Nandos at around 7.15pm on yesterday, a usual pre-requisite for dragging her to another Marvel film.

If you are going to serve the chicken skin on, than it better be prepared right! The skin on the chicken pieces I received in my chicken pitta had a very jelly like consistency, like when you grill a chicken, then put it in the fridge, and heat it up again in a microwave. I also paid 9£ for half a small pitta bread, with the end part of a lettuce leaf, a couple of onion pieces, 4 small chicken pieces, and a side of garlic bread. As well as the skin being totally inedible, the food didnt taste that great. It was announced as this delicious pitta with loads of different salad pieces, as well as a garlic alioli. I dont think I got any alioli at all, and the whole thing was just a big disappointment.

Came here a few times and it’s one of our favourites. Ordered the usual butterfly burger and chicken wrap. Quick food and great service. Love the loyalty scheme too, saved a fortune using a red and orange reward.

Friendly staff, ok food but the place looked a little tired and would benefit from a good clean. But it was one of the few eateries open in Middlesbrough on Good Friday so beggars can't be choosers.

When looking for somewhere for tea (dinner for posh people) when staying at the local Travelodge we spotted a Nando's down the road.

Went there later in evening we had to wait about 20 minutes for our food to be served. They weren't particularly busy but the problem was the food was waiting on the counter and no one bought it, two if the staff were tidying up and two more seemed to be helping the chef, our order was sitting there fir about 3/4minutes before it was bought to our table, it was hence just lukewarm, other people it looked like were waiting longer It looker like they were more intent on getting tidied up so they could go in time rather than serving the customers they had in the restaurantA disappointing visit and would be hesitant to visit again to be honest

Excellent customer service and the food was delicious, all the family found something easily enough from grandchildren to us oldies

The service at this Nandos was really good and staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, however we had rather a long wait, resulting in our food being a little dry by the time it arrived to us. The wrap that I had was slightly crispy from being under the light for too long and my friends chicken skin was burnt in places. Our meals weren't ruined, however I have had better in other Nandos.

what my wife and i had was almost nice, service was ok, waiters very helpfull, shocked when we saw that we paid three pound 80 pence for two teas, value for money , not even close, being pensioners we look for good food at a sensible price so that will be off our return list.

We mostly visit here after visiting cineworld. Chicken is always succulent and very tasty as is the spicy rice and sweet corn. If you have a fizzy drink they have free top ups, which is always a bonus. Busy restaurant, always clean and tidy. Staff friendly.

Good quality food with good quality service. Really enjoyed our time. However, dessert was a lot smaller than expected.

Visited with my family and was a lovely meal .. arrived about 1pm and it was quite busy, although it was a Saturday. No wait for the table but others arriving after us did have a short wait. My parents ordered the butterfly chicken with medium spice and they really liked it. The spice level was about right for them, they like chili but not too spicy My sister had the half chicken with a slightly hotter sauce and I had the spicy burger which was lovely with the melted cheese on top .. something really nice about melted cheese on chicken fillet! We had fries, corn, sweet potato wedges and they were all nice too Coffee was nice but a bit cold for our liking, it comes from a machine so I don't think the staff can control the temperature of the water. Cold drinks are refillable and the dispenser is in the middle of the restaurant Wait time was about 20/25 minutes for the food, it was about the cusp of asking how long it was going to be. Worth the wait though and we will definitely be back again!

We had the usual whole chicken with medium spice which was very tasty and well cooked. Although very busy we did not have to wait unnecessarily long and the staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Grandchildren enjoyed there never ending supply of ice cream.

Went today with family, they had chicken but being vegetarian I wanted a different option. I went for a spicy soya burger and it's the most disgusting burger I have ever been presented with, it was soft, soggy, tasteless and cold. I thought it had the texture of tinned dog food. I realise it's not speciality vegetarian but this was a bought frozen burger cooked badly. Don't go if you are vegetarian fulls top. They pestered my 2 year old grandson to finish his meal. They wanted his plate but he hadn't finished.

Typical Nando's was ok, nowt to write home about. No draught drinks except fizzy drinks, and can't book under 8 people

Went for a girls catchup at Nandos before watching Bridget Jones Diary. The food came quick and everyone enjoyed their meal. Would recommend trying the peri pomegranate sauce they offer, sweet and spicy. Will be going again soon!.

We visited nandos before going to the cinema next door. We were met at the door and shown to our table very quickly. The menu was comprehensive and my wife quickly ordered and paid for our food at the till. The NHS discount was very welcome and is a great touch. Our food turned up at our table almost immediately. The food was well cooked & presented very well. Overall the food was very good and great value for money especially with the discount. A great start to the evening.

Been to a few Nando's without any complaints, but this one just takes the absolute mick! Staff are just poorly trained, quality of food is just not Nando's standard. This one in Middlesbrough hast to be the worst in its Chain.For anyone who's a "Nando's Virgin" do not bother, try the ones in Newcastle or Manchester to get a true Nando's satisfaction.

Was looking for a quick bite to eat before our film. This place has never let me down. Always order the butterfly chicken with spicy rice and Peri Peri chips, and is always delicious just like this time. Can always rely on this place for fast service and quality food! Fantastic!

Been thinking about going to Nando's for sometime but something always got in the way....finally, managed to get in. No booking needed...good, straight to a table...excellent. Sat waiting for someone to come and take my order...still waiting...asked for help from one of their employee's. Ah ! You have to go and place your order at the tills...would have been nice to have been told. So, first impressions were a bit mixed but once we got all that out of the way i thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had the chicken burger with the hot option (second from the top) as i was feeling a little brave. The food was brought to the table quickly and piping hot. It was delicious and well presented. Mango ice cream for desert was beautiful and i managed to wash it all down with a couple of summer fruit spritzers. All in all, it was a pleasant time. Staff could do with informing all visiting customers of the rules, first time visitors like myself sometimes need a push in the right direction to start things off. Will be going again (just to try the very hot one) as my bravery levels have gone up a touch

Extremely noisy, glasses red hot straight out of dishwasher. Ice machine broken, Fanta orange ran out. No knives and forks, no plates. Then when we did get them they were also red hot straight out of the dishwasher and half of them still dirty. Food was OK standard nandos fayre. Girl at desk taking our order informed me she didn't work at the restaurant?? Then server who cleared our table also told us she didn't work there?? We took a birthday cake as we were out for our sons birthday but asked for it back and decided we would rather take it home and enjoy it in the peace at home!

Family visit for tea, food good, staff great, welcoming and friendly, would visit again no problem, kids enjoy it as much as the adults.

Went for a family meal, family of three on Sunday teatime. It was very busy but did not have to wait long for a table tho. Think arriving before 5.00pm helped. Lots of choice from the menu, I had the chicken fillet burger with sweet potato wedges, other half had chicken fillets in a pitta with chips. My toddler had some of our food which he loved especially the seed mix with comes with the sweet potato wedges. Food arrived within a reasonable time, everything seemed fresh and the chicken was tasty. A good place to grab a fast food meal. Prices are a bit high and can soon add up with drinks and sides. Not somewhere to eat out every week but as a treat every now and then.Would eat here again.

We nipped into Nando's for a meal before going to the cinema next door. We ordered a sharing platter of roulette chicken wings for starters and the usual butterfly chicken with sides for mains. The chicken wings came very fast, and we had only just eaten 1 chicken wing each, when the waitress arrived with our mains, so we ended up putting the starters on our plates with the mains and just having it all at once. Not quite what we planned and because we were rushed so much we were finished and out in no time, and a little bit bored waiting for our film to start. I'm not sure if this was a one off, but I prefer to finish my starter and have a little rest before tugging into my main meal, instead of eating both off 1 plate. The food was lovely though and the staff were very friendly. there was a sink in the middle of the restaurant to wash your hands at, in case they got sticky from the chicken wings. but I would have preferred wet wipes though. I will be going back as the food is nice, but I will only be ordering a main course. :D

I've been to other Nandos branches many times and never been disappointed but I will never be going back to the Boro version! Where do I start? When we walked in as a family of 5 at 8pm the place was dead. We were seated and had ordered fairly quickly and were told that we'd have our food in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later there was no sign of any food so we asked the waitress who said she'd find out. Instead of telling us how long the wait would be she called the manager to our table as if we had some bug issue of it. The manager said there would be a 10 minute wait as there was no chicken (in a Nandos!). Even though we then requested that all our food be bought together a rude waitress dumped 2 sides onto the table and we waited several more minutes for the chicken platters. Finally it all arrived. However that was just the beginning, a chicken quarter was raw and the manager was told. Tinks (the manager) came over and proceeded to lecture us as a group about the process of cooking chicken and that her chicken could never be raw. She offered a piece of butterfly instead of a replacement as she wanted to "get rid of stock". We declined and continued eating until I cut into a piece of chicken that was bleeding! Actual blood was oozing out of the chicken and Tinks again took offence to us complaint and point blank refused to replace the chicken or do anything about it. She claimed that that is how every customer gets their chicken! There'd be a lot of dead nandos customers if that was the case. Tinks refused to accept our complaint and refused to accept the chicken was raw ( you can see in the pics), she then refused to let us get a word in during her rant about the standards of nandos! The worst restaurant experience I've ever had, we walked out without eating and without a refund and told that we were not welcome in that nandos. Sorry Tinks but as long as your standards are that poor I will never be back!

Went for a meal on the 11th of May, and had excellent service by a lovely, young girl. After ordering at the counter, she came over to tell us that our meal (Chicken Thighs plus sides) would be around 20 minutes (the restaurant was exceptionally busy). Offered us a free starter, and also free desserts when she brought over the mains. Wonderful service! And the food was as cheeky as ever.

I don't think we have ever had a bad meal in a Nando's. We arrived on a Saturday lunchtime and despite the place being busy we didn't have to wait for a table or long for the food to come. Food is always good as is the service.

After hearing great things about this place me and my friend decided to visit.Never again!The chicken was bland and dry and the chips were cold.We were crammed on to a tiny table next to loads of other people eating when the restaurant wasn't busy creating a awful experience.I will never return here for over priced chicken and chips.

We should have been having an Indian but it did'nt pan out so we went here. This was my first visit to a Nando's. And I'll go again. Good food, good friendly and sharp service. What more do you need when you're starving ?

We were staying in Middlesbrough as a base for visiting Whitby and the environmens. Arrived in the area fairly late in the evening and wanted somewhere local so headed into the town centre and struggled to find anywhere open so headed for the default corporate restaurant. Not a fan of nandos generally but my daughter insisted. Restaurant was busy for a Tuesday night but food came fairly promptly despite this. Chicken dishes were pretty ordinary but my veggie burger was awful! It tasted as though it was the first thing to have been cooked and had been left under the hot lights whilst the other food was being cooked. Like a previous reviewer I'd like to mention a member of staff, Alan. A genuinely nice guy and seemed like the only one to give a toss!

Popped in for a cheeky Nando's on Monday night after shopping trip.Greeted by lovely,welcoming staff who showed us immediately to our table. I ordered the hot half chicken with sweet potato wedges which were delicious. Restaurant and toilets spotless. Very enjoyable meal and would definitely recommend the passion fruit sorbet for dessert. 10/10

Another fantastic meal at Nando's taken care of by all the staff behind the counter and in front being a coeliac I need everything cleaning down and making sure is not contaminate the service was fantastic I know it can get busy in Nando's sometimes but hey everybody wants to eat there. was a lovely place

Everyone has recommend Nandos to Me and my boyfriend....so disappointed food was cold and chips smelt of fish! Never again!

We called in for some food on a Saturday night between 8:30 and 9 pm. It was at about 30% capacity and Alan escorted us to our table and helped advise us on what we could use our "chicken cheques" on which had been given to us. He was very helpful and took his time to make sure we were happy. My partner is not a fan of chicken but loves spicy food. He was going to try the steak but in the end we both decided to try the mushroom and hallumi cheese with a choice of sides and bread (burger, pitta bread or wrap). This was where the problems started. We were told no burger buns left as well as no garlic bread this was disappointing as the sides were mainly all potato variations and we had a choice of 2. We then waited for our food. This arrived with the correct sides and the mains were wrong. They were chicken. I had to walk to the kitchen area to get a staff members attention and explained the error. Our server had took the wrong order. Our meals went back and were redone. In this time customers left with out cleared plate and the were only 4 tables eating. Our correct food was cooked well and we enjoyed it. However having and open kitchen means you can see the staff messing around towards the end of the shift - not professional. And tables left dirty and uncleared 10 minutes after guests have left. Alan did take charge of our visit and made sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions on the sauces and cleared out plates at the end of our meal. We asked him if we could purchase some sauce my partner had liked and he even went out of his way to find the sauce as it was not available to purchase at the front of house. We told Alan his efforts had not gone unnoticed and we left him a tip. He looked like the only one who cared about the customers and deserves a promotion !!!

So, arrived just after the cinema threw out on a Saturday night at 7:30. One word. Packed !! We got inside and there were already several people waiting in the queue before us. My 10 yr old nephew really wanted to eat there. So we waited about 20 mins for a table ..... then another 20 mins for the food to arrive. We both got grilled chicken wrap with chips and Diet Coke. £25 later I thought to myself I really need to introduce my nephew to somewhere new as this was the second visit. I personally think it's an overpriced fast food joint run by teenagers ! Hopefully I won't have to return.

Called in this dining area recently for the first time. Had a steak off the menu with chips and macho peas. I adore heat and deep burn off flavours but this place lacked any of it in their food. Any bottle of sauce you try make sure the nozzles are free from product as I tried five without success Simply cleaning the tops would be nice. Saw the young female chef blow her nose with a tissue but didn't wash her hands within the food servers area Lacks ambience. Food mediocre and in my opinion is overpriced.

I've been here twice now. It is a very popular place and the seating arrangement is snug. You do have your own space but you are close to other diners. You may wait to be seated. The longest I've waited is 15mins. You can choose from different levels of hot sauces, but be careful, there are some HOT sauces so you need to know what you like. You order yourself and the staff brings it to the table. Reasonably priced.

Love the Lime marinade, it a nice change from typical nandos taste. The cooks are good at what they do, the chicken wasn't over cooked and the staff are so nice.

Great meal before the cinema. Lovely staff , clean place. Lovely menu. Very busy at 7.30 at night - to be expected I guess hence four not five stars as quite a big wait!! Loved the spiced bean burger.

Difficult not to pop in after going to the cinema next door. Consistently good and reasonably priced. Great selection to choose from.

Frequented by the town's student population and families in the main, but this venue provided good value for money food. Their vegetarian options are most welcome too.

I adore this place I have been with my family and friends many times. The food is really, really nice even when the restaurant is busy, it is well worth the wait. The service from the staff is first class and I always leave a good tip. The previous and present interior is really trendy and unique, and it creates a nice calm and relaxing atmosphere. My family and I always look forward to coming here and always leave feeling happy.

To be honest I was forced to go to Nandos as I have never been a great fan of this chain. I thought I would give it another try as I have had poor food on other occasions. Anyway the staff were really friendly. Not much to choose from so decided to go for the chicken. It was ok. Nothing special for the price. Pain in the back side that you have to wait to be served and it was really busy so waited a while. Ordered a corn on the cob as a side and it was that well done I was waiting for it to turn into popcorn. It is a great looking restaurant inside and good vibe.

It was OK but not too good. The only thing they served was chicken. The staff was OK to they helped out but wasnt child friendly. I wouldn't go again but I would. My over all statement is OK.

I am a lover of nandos and the food of which is on offer however it has appealed to me that the service differs dependent on the time of the visit. Yesterday I visited nandos with a group of my friends at 9:30pm for a late night meal. The atmosphere, as always was excellent and the service was great for what we at first thought. After our meals had been ordered there was a 15 minute gap between each set of orders coming although the meals where ordered all together. After this the only drink that was available on the machine was diet coke and coke as the Fanta was out of order and the sprite tasted off. To top this visit off overall a friend of my received a hair in her burger after having to wait around 45 minutes for her food to come. The burger was replaced however was off putting to continue to eat knowing the lack of hygiene. Overall this visit hasn't knocked my nandos visits in the near future however next visit I am praying that I do not have to experience this again.

We went a year or so ago, my boyfriend said he wasn't too sure about it so didn't go for a while, decided to try again last night. Packed out and waited 20 mins or so for a table but that was fine as it was a Saturday. Coke pricey at £2.50 a glass so make sure you get your money's worth and refill! Ordered double chicken breast pittas, came with both pieces stuffed into one pitta. Was hoping it would be two chickens and two pittas, after all they cost a few pence each, but no. Not really worth paying an extra 2 or 3 pounds. The two sides are quite small, but if we hadn't of ordered them then there would barely be anything on the plate. Do end up feeling a bit ripped off. We had a starter of pitta and houmous which was nice, but again small. For what we ate, 29 pounds seemed a lot, and we for a discount for emergency services so it would have been nigh on 35 quid. Far too much for what you get but Nandos does seem to have a strong following and is hugely popular. Sure it wouldn't do them any harm to up the portion sizes a touch and it would make you feel like you are getting much better value. Not buying into the hype just yet.

been twice and on both occasions left feeling pretty ripped off . I swore I wouldn't go back after my first time but my daughter never been and always wanted to go so went for a second time was just the same they pull the wool over your eyes and some people do not realise. I ordered a butterfly chicken breast chips and rice , what I got was a disguised battered chicken thigh smothered in Piri Piri to hide the fact it wasn't breast I complained and got told how would I know the difference between a thigh and a breast . I said probably cause I'm not stupid and also a chef they changed it but by then it puts you off eating it and to top it off chips were anemic rice was over done and stuck together and cold and you need to remortgage for a drink so make sure you take plenty of money. my over all review is no chance would I ever return but if you go check your chicken isn't a thigh if your paying for breast , don't let them get away with it ...

Looking lovely after a refurb had a nice lunch with friends. Pleasant staff and good service, despite the place experiencing lunchtime rush. Lovely food as always!
