This place is amazing, the food is amazing, and service is so nice! This is better then McDonald's! By 10000000x!

Click and collect, Jacob was very quick to notice us and give us our food, slight issue with the order which was quickly rectified with extras.

Always worth a visit for chicken

Nando’s was amazing as always. But we especially love the merry hill franchise as from sitting down to finishing our food was always quick. Even though there may be an odd wait here or there, it is always worth. Honourable mention to Jess who served us all amazingly and helped us with all our needs. Would definitely go again sometime!

Food was cold, service was rushed, probably the worst Nando’s I have visited

Visited on a Monday at lunchtime. Staff were pleasant and food came out really quickly. However, food was cold as if it had been sat out for a while. Very disappointing. Plates and cutlery were dirty. But I think that’s a common occurrence at Nandos.

Really pleased with the service from the restaurant. Had deliveroo deliver food (never again) but the staff were brilliant. Straight on to the order to fix the errors. You couldn't ask for better service. The young tall lad on reception as I came in. Really nice welcome. And the manager well.... good on you Nandos need to give same service at every restaurant! I would have left a tip but didn't have any cash. Yes Tip even after a cock up on delivery! They were that good!

Every time I come here, most of the staff are always nice but why is it refried chips all the time. It's not just the one time now, it's quite literally all the time I have been, I've always had refried chips and never freshly friend chips. DUDLEY NANDOS FTW!

7.20pm Saturday 1 March 2025 .. waited in the cols for 20 mins and eventually got a table near the door .. absolutely freezing cold so in the anticipation the food was also going to freezing we spoke to Kelly who wasn't at all bothered so we saved our money and left. Avoid at all costs

Nando’s was great! The food was tasty, and the staff was really friendly. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get in, but once we ordered, the food came out super fast. Definitely worth it!

Flavourful chicken and nice atmosphere. I liked the dessert most. Worth visiting again.

we ordered 15 wings plater lemon and herbs but the chicken has no taste at all also the the mash potatoes was dry and looks is been there for ages disappointing really 👎

Very good for if you have an allergy. The whole process makes you feel safe and seen. Sometimes if you get take out it can take a while but I'd rather that than a cross contamination accident!

It's been a long time since we last visited a Nando's. They are so consistent that it seems pointless to review unless you wish to praise or moan, however I have never had a bad experience. The only reason for this review is to commend them on their newish chickpea burger which was rather nice and good value compared to say the McDonald's equivalent. Update, I am still not a regular but am asked to collect a takeaway from here every now and then. I like to get there early and wait for the meal rather than let it go cold on the counter. Indeed this is why I don't do takeaways. Standing by the counter you also notice how the place operates. I must say how impressed I was with Matt, who appeared to be multi tasking beyond the call of duty, yet still managed to engage with just about everyone. A very conscientious guy.

What an absolute joke of a place ordered several times via app for delivery not sure who works there but if they can't get an order correct there something fundamentally wrong with the type of people that work there. Everytime ordered something been missing. Today the out shone themselves out of the starters and 4 main meals none were delivered so we will make do with rice and coleslaw. Disgrace shame can't give zero stars

Great food and service never disappointed

I had a disappointing experience at Nando’s. I found a piece of dark hair in my food and, upon informing the staff, was met with disbelief instead of concern. The staff member’s comment, “That’s weird; all my staff are blonde,” came across as dismissive and racially insensitive. We never received an apology and had to request a replacement ourselves. A sincere apology and better handling of the situation would have made a big difference. I hope the staff are trained to handle such incidents with more professionalism and respect. Other than that food was nice.

Avoid don't waste your money at this nandos filthy cutlery rude staff waited at the till for ages staff just stared and carried on talking, cold food Under cooked the managers well if you can call them that shamefull. Was both ill from the food.

Our favourite Nando's to visit locally - food always comes out quick & is always great & staff are always nice. We've found a number of other Nando's food quality can vary quite wildly visit-by-visit, but this one is always top notch.

As a table of 9 on a Sunday night (6.45 ish) we thought we would get a table no problem, wrong! They were full and we were told it would be a wait of around 30minutes-anyone with young children will know this is not ideal. Thankfully they agreed to allow us to sit downstairs. We had Matt looking after us for the evening and what a superstar he was. I think in all my years of eating out Matt has supassed any good service we have ever had. From getting sauces for us from upstairs (the stairs are a nightmare), to giving the children stickers as a kind gesture, to sorting out our portion of missing chips without any hestitation and simply just being very attentive, with a great can-do attitude. May I note that he was doing all of this while sorting out the delivery drivers. Well done Matt, keep it up-what a great guy you are!! Thank you for making our night out a great one. We look forward to seeing you and the team again soon! Food was great too, as always.

They forgot to give me the child's drink that comes with the nandinos meal and I didn't realise until after because my son was drinking a drink he already had

Staff were all friendly and helpful, opening doors and helping my daughter order on her first visit. The food was perfectly cooked and the restaurant was clean and tidy with staff cleaning tables really quickly and thoroughly after use. The only thing we noticed was that it was a little dull in there. Dark and foreboding was a phrase used ..I think it's position just didn't allow much natural light in, heavy door to enter and not many windows. Maybe some more lighting would help :)

Great place to visit for a meal. Staff do excellent service and never had any complaints with the food.

By far the best branch of Nandos I've ever been to. I cannot compliment the team enough about the service we received from entry. They have a good balance of being helpful and attentive without being over bearing, I was very impressed. Food was good too and was very speedy for a Friday evening.

We visited last week 2 adults n 2 kids. Food was cold. Staff said she can only change one meal. That was very disappointing even kids meal was too spicy for my lil one. Wasted of money.

Visited Nandos to celebrate my daughter's exam results; her choice of restaurant. We were seated quickly for a busy Friday afternoon and the waiting staff were pleasant enough. However, I was really disappointed with the quality and value of the food we received which I don't think is unique to this particular branch of Nandos but reflective of how Nandos has gone down hill over the last few years in my opinion. It used to be a place to go for families looking for good quality food at a reasonable price. I had the butterfly chicken with two sides for just under £16: the portion of chicken was very small for the price, the rice was served cold and at best was about 2 tbsp in quantity. The best part of the meal was the corn on the cob! I certainly won't be in any rush to visit any Nandos again which is a shame as we used to really enjoy their food.

Went here for the first time and was utterly unimpressed. The food was only luke warm when it arrived. The waiter came over and grabbed the server stick off the table leant all over our plates of food. We was put on a table so close to another that we was brushing arms when trying to eat. Our table was situated next to a wall which kept getting banged on my the other side which resulted in our drinks being spilt. Had mine medium hot which was bland the chicken looked undercooked the fries was burnt The garlic bread looked like they popped to Asda and grabbed one out the freezer. Few hours after leaving I got food poisoning this was the only thing I ate that day and had to starve myself for 24 hours I honestly don’t see the hype for this place

First visit for a while, and we love nandos! 6pm visit 5 mins wait, attentive food came out quick all round great. Server downstairs was also very nice very good and very smiley. Great service great food. We've moved into the area so will be regulars.

Went there today for a meal with my husband and my baby, got to say food quality wasnt as good as expected at nandos, the wrap felt so dry. The staff were more interested in talking between themselves than serving, even though the restaurant wasnt busy at all. Very disappointed!

Just sat for lunch at the Nando’s in merry hill. Great meal and the guy serving us was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for him and dealt with our nut allergy perfectly. Can’t remember his full name but Matt, thanks for everything!!! (Hawkins I think it was)

Quite possibly the driest overcooked chicken I’ve tasted. The knife barely cut it. Chips bland and soggy. Rice barely warm and the Portuguese salad, despite costing extra was an abysmally small portion. Would highly recommend avoiding this Nandos. Other guests also experienced overcooked chicken evident from leaving it. The waiter, although disinterested did offer to swap the chicken, which I said no to as we were on a tight timeframe and didn’t want to wait for more overcooked chicken. Waste of £35. Won’t be hurrying back.

It’s alright if you fancy some chicken

Great food & service , can get very busy & loud.

Nothing special. If you can't cook it could pass as nicely cooked chicken. Didn't like the buns the burger came in. Kids didn't like the plain chicken, too spicy for them. Stingy you have to pay extra for perinaise as well.

Food could have been warmer but it was fantastic super quick, tasty with polite nice staff. Gave me the option of seating, did their table check. They didn't have the new spice as advertised hence the 4*

Lovely shopping centre. Well worth a visit

Had Butterfly chicken which was good, but relative had the Chicken Burger and that wasn't. The Chicken on the Burger was cold, the Bun felt stale. Didn't complain as lots of people around and didn't want to kick up a fuss. Can't fault the service though, that was great.

Visited Nando's Merryhill tonight for our eldest son's birthday. Our younger son has coeliac and we were asked on our way in about allergens and can't believe how accommodating and nice they were! The man on the door really reassured me and It's by far the best place we have visited and we felt so comfortable being able to eat out safely with our son!! All the staff were lovely (they always are) and I want to say a big thank you to the young man who bought our food over to our table, he even washed his hands before handling my sons gluten free plate! Honestly couldn't have asked for more from our visit today and wish I had left some feedback when I was in store because I can't believe how amazing they all were. Thank you, we will 100% be returning!

Asked for gluten free options. Told they would be on the app to order. No information on app, told to speak to manager. Manager's first question was "Do you have the information you need". I said No and then was asked what I wanted, to which I had to reply that I didn't know what was gluten free or not. Provided with a very lengthy document of allergens and felt rushed to order as I was at the till. Food was average.

The food as in nearly all Nando's restaurants was lovely. Sadly the staff here really let the place down. A disinterested host took our name and granted a very pleasant hostess showed us to our table. We ordered and paid up front via the app and our starters were on the table in 4 minutes. Very quickly followed by the mains which were dumped unceremoniously on the table by the waitress who cared not one bit that the starters were only halfway eaten. Giving us a dirty look for not immediately responding to who's starter plate she should put the main with pineapple on top of. We ate our main and waited for dessert... and waited... and waited. 3 tables sat and had their food and left. We asked after dessert, the wrong order was read back, he went off to check, we waited and waited. The dessert finally came out. Missing the ice cream. We did get an apology when the ice cream came out but sadly we're now in a rush. The centre closes soon and we have shopping to do. Shame really, but clearly the pay is poor and the staff aren't too fussed. Time to up your game management. Your staff clearly don't have your back and that means you clearly don't have theirs!

Overpriced. Essentially have to serve yourself all except food. Taste was ok but portions are tiny for the price. Wouldn't go again.

We dropped by for lunch one Sunday afternoon, it was busy but we didn't have to wait too long for a table to become free – maybe five minutes. Food was great as always and staff were friendly. We ordered at the table via the QR code which was easy and straightforward. Will definitely drop by again in the future!

Always quick and always polite as a whole, orders are always correct and easily amended. They even apologise for things that aren't their fault 😂 Special mentions to the manager with red hair/glasses and Jon. Very impressed with their customer service - genuine and polite in their approach.

Had an amazing dining in tonight at nandos. Took my little cousin for her first nandos and she enjoyed trying all the sauces and food. Highly recommend the whole chicken platter chips garlic bread corn and chicken burger and fries. Service quick and friendly. All staff lovely and friendly. Thank you so much for the nandos sauces gift, really appreciate it , it made my cousins day.

The atmosphere was quite flat. Portions are quite small for the price but the food was tasty and we found the service was ok but impersonal.
