Friendly staff. Tasty food. Highly recommend the sweet potato frites. But the yogurt machine was unavailable. And the hamburger did not meet expectation.

Staff were very good at asking the right questions when I mentioned my allergies so thanks for that. Food was good place was clean and well kept :)

This was a pretty bad Nando's. The chicken breast was laughably teeny-tiny (and pretty dry as a result), and when I pointed it out to the manager she made a bunch of weird jokes about it but had this look on her face that said "Yeah, I know it sucks, but nothing I can do". Nice location. Not halal. Definitely my worst Nando's experience food and service-wise.

Went in for a quick bite & asked before sitting down if they can cater to onion and garlic free - manager said yes I will take your order at the table. 15 minutes of waiting for him to come over & find out all their chicken in garlic. Waste of our time & awful customer service.

The customer service from Angelo was amazing! we got the loaded fries which were lush and the gooey choc lava cake that hit the spot.

I have been to this one a few times now. The menu ordering through the website or app is great, but I do miss seeing people serve and saying hello!

Placed an order tonight through deliveroo for a night-in with family, where i clearly specified that I wanted one plain burger with no veg or sauce but despite you guys labeling it plain I don't get how your team manages to pack an everything burger. Also I ordered a Portuguese livers with roll that came with no roll and the liver gravy had spilled everywhere in the bag. Highly disappointed and when rang nandos they directed us to deliveroo, that said re-delivery wasn't available. What am I meant to serve? air??? This is atrocious and unacceptable from a brand like Nandos. Better start training your islington team to read the order properly before packing. A plain burger isn't that difficult to make Nandos.

Visited Nandos with my youngest. We both loved it. We hadn't been to a Nandos for a while, as we had previously been disappointed with the quality of the food. No such issues this time. The food was delicious. You have to try the Peri Mac and Cheese.

Took ages to order,the waitress telling us we can't use nandos gift vouchers ,,,really. The food took a long time to come. Halloumi Fries, we're sliced Halloumi, chips were cold, and the chicken looked like a pigeon. I'm very1 disappointed and definitely won't be going back and won't recommend.

The food is decent but the service is ridiculously slow and asking staff gets you nowhere, I regularly saw staff walking past food waiting for customers while they just say hi to people walking in… I repeated myself several times for my glasses and got nowhere as the staff don’t understand you, had to go get my own glasses and also go up to the till to ask where my food was as we waited 40 mins - was told I ordered 5 mins before asking where my food was…don’t try and lie to me when I have receipts. I’ve been coming to this place for years and every time I come here my experience just gets worse. Terrible place, terrible staff (some are nice and apologise but don’t give me attitude when I’m just here to enjoy some food) and very dirty floors. I would say avoid at all costs and go to a better one close to the city or something…they’ll at least be nicer to you :)

I came in today around four with my partner and the women who served me (Jo) was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly friendly recommended food and just gave us a five star experience. I will definitely be back, this is the nicest Nandos I ever been too and I’m so happy to have visited. Again the women serving us was AMAZING she should be manager I hope I got her name right but she’s incredible.

Les frites étaient correctes et le brownie au caramel était bon. Le service était bien sauf pour les desserts qu'on a du réclamer car on nous avait oublié.

35 yrs vegan. I asked the manager about the “plant based” items and the preparation, who seemed to be annoyed that I was asking, to be told the food is cooked on the same flat grill as other non plant base items. Also this was my first time dining in nandos, was not aware we had to go to the till to order. The manager’s sarcastic responses left me annoyed. I double check the slaw with the same manager, who said it is vegan, “ I will bring you the sauce”… never returned! In a nutshell: shift manager/supervisor make sure the team, informs customers how to order upon seating them. Have complete menu knowledge. AND act like you give a F¥C#

Chips looked and tasted like they had been pre cooked in old oil. Certainly no better than dried out ones from a non descript chicken and chip shop. Peri seasoning tasteless.

As a Nandos regular, this restaurant really isn't up to the usual standard. Staff seemed disinterested and it wasn't very clean. The new loaded fries that was advertised was unavailable when I tried to order it. If I wasn't meeting someone there I would have eaten elsewhere.

Made online order and they have no system to control who takes what so was told someone else took it. Made a complaint and they said they could only offer me sides. The whole place looked a mess in terms of organisation. Just not good enough.

Usually the staff at this nandos are polite and quick with there food but today I visited the store on upper street . And it was not particularly busy . I ordered a kids meal at 7:17(as stated on receipt) with a burger with no sauce but lettuce and tomato . My friends also bought a kids meal but with wings instead . When my order finally arrived at 20:02 the order was wrong I was extremely disappointed due to the fact all my friends order had arrived and they had eaten already . The staff were happy to change this but when it arrived now 20 minutes later it still had no lettuce and the chicken was EXTREMELY OVERCOOKED. I have never had an awful experience here so I couldn’t give them 1 stars but this time was dreadful !!!

The food was quick and the service was very good

Pros: The chicken thighs were very juicy and tasted chargrilled. The chips were very good and crispy, just right. Cons: the cutlery was dirty (see photo) we had to get 6 knives to get 2 clean, potentially due to overloading the dishwasher. The garlic bread was a total disappointment, dry and soulless. The bread was so stiff and not crunchy at all, potentially due to incorrect proving of the dough and/or incorrect baking, also, there was not much flavour to the garlic bread. The service was okay, but nothing that you would remember and want to come back to. The floors were also quite dirty.

Felt like a normal trip down nandos. Ordered my food off the app and the app bugged out. My order wasn’t received and i was charged. I spoke to a very nice lady who tried to find anyway she could to find my order before getting the manager involved. Usually at restaurants it would be be like well you cant prove it and will more than likely want to charge again and itd be £30 down the drain. But manager allowed us to order our food as if i payed normally. A situation i thought would take ages to resolve, was sorted in 5 minutes. Mr manager if you read this, please give that lady some praise she was really nice. I was able to have a nice birthday dinner with my friend.

We had chicken wings and they were great. The service was really good to as staff was friendly and very attentive. There was an issue with the soda machine and staff quickly took care of it once they were notified. Highly recommend

The customer service is awful. Food is awful. People are awful. I have never had this bad experience at any other nandos. These staff either need retraining or you need to get new staff. You rather close this branch to avoid putting a bad name for the entire nandos chain.

Very poor service from a Sunday staff member. She was mixed race short and full of attitude. If she put the same energy into her attitude than she did to those horrific eyelashes she had on it would’ve probably been a better service. Luckily a staff member called Jo was pleasant otherwise this rating would’ve been a 1!

It was disappointing. We had to wait 30 minutes just for 1/4 chicken and a halloumi pita, while other people had got their food in less than 10-15 mins. And as always the yogurt machine was out of order. And the chicken was dryer than the Sahara Desert.

To be honest only the chicken is good, frozen chips are quite disappointing. Absolutely no service, except bringing the plate to the table. We have to go to the till or use app to order, get own cutlery and sauce, etc. For the price of the food we deserve better.

Sunday evening/night.. Air conditioning unit was dripping on my head and was on full blast, we had a gift card to use but you have to order at your table via your mobile phone and of course it doesn't give you an option to enter a gift card code using this method. Food took 45 minutes to arrive, overheard staff member telling another customer who had complained about waiting 45 minutes for their food that they are recieving 100 orders an hour, there was nowhere near 100 people in the restaurant so must have meant delivery orders.. so basically they are more focused on and prioritise their delivery orders than the customers who are actually sat in their premises ordering... food was no where near as nice as I've had previously and you could tell my whole wrap had been put together in a rush. I personally won't be going to this branch again. Too much favouritism for delivery ordering customers!

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Staff totally disinterested in doing their jobs. No friendly welcome. No customer service. Other patrons served their food before us, whilst our mains sat on the counter… apparently waiting for our starters to be cooked! No one asked how the meal was: a staple of Nandos… it seemed to me that every worker there did not want to be there… I won’t be returning.

Nothing to say about the food. but if we want to talk about the employees then,there is so much to say...the guys in the kitchen was cooking with a toothpick between his teeth and while cooking he kept cleaning his teeth and touching the food, continuously using the phone and cooking at the same time... Disgusting. One girl was touching her lips to apply vasaline, after she serve the food in the table without washing the hands... I find it disgusting. waitress went to clean the tables and after 2 minute to cook the chicken, without gloves and without washing hands or hair net, and again jumping to serving tables without worrying about food contamination.

Nice place to have meal with family/friends. Good food for the cost, so would recommend. I typically split the whole chicken between myself and one other person, as there is a lot that comes with it. On the day I went, the lavatory seemed to have run out of both soap and hand towels?! Please make sure this is something which is addressed in the future. 4 stars because of this. Otherwise, no complaints. 😊

I asked for a jug of water as I drink a lot of water, and we were 6-7 people. They gave us whiskey glasses, even though I asked for bigger glasses they said that I need to pay for big glasses even if it's for water only. Unbelievable.

Great food as always Nando's is a guarantee for that. However this place falls short on service. Cutlery and tissues were not replenished on any station and we had to literally follow a team member to get her attention for some cutlery and tissues for our table. Instead of replenishing the station she seemed upset of being asked.

I was a Nando's fan but the quality has been consistently going down in the past few months. The last trip to Nando's Islington was a disaster: an under-resourced place that took 45 minutes to make a chicken burger and 2 sides for a take away order. Staff appeared indifferent to the waiting times. The chicken was dry. I would not recommend.

I waited 15 minutes to be seated, only to be told that the wait for a table was 45-55 minutes. Due to being understaffed they couldn't use half their tables, and only 1 person dealing with guests. It's a pity we couldn't wait.

I have been going to this Nandos for over 15 years, but was incredibly disappointed recently when I went with a friend and received a well below par meal. This is not what Nandos has come to be known for and for this reason I am writing the review. My meal was overcooked, badly presented and was not as ordered but was revised after we had paid and were seated. This visit followed one previously a couple of weeks prior when I went with a friend close to but not at closing time and was told that they were closed. When the time was pointed out I was then told there was no more chicken left. The two visits being close together and so disappointing indicates that something has gone awry with the current management at that particular outlet. I am writing the review as this needs to be addressed. The community in Islington has been using this Nandos for many years and do not wish this unit fall into a slap dash outlet. Thank you.

Wonderful service by a mixed race lady with hair in a bun. The assumed manager on shift is daft. There was more than enough seats available but telling people 30 minute wait for no reason. She came along and seated everyone immediately and the food came out really quickly and good quality. The manager should take notes from her on how to get things done. Other staff wonderful service too.

New management has taken over, they are excellent! We held a small baby shower here and they are so accommodating and helpful! Really lovely to see managers that actually care about their customers wants/needs. Will be recommending to all friends and family for special occasions

Really good place for lunch. For our family of four (grown up kids) 1 whole chicken plus chips, corn and cauliflower was really enough + 4 glasses of tap water. The food here is great and it is not processed. Nice sitting area and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Food was great. Need more staff when we visited. Not so great if you end up on a table by the door with constant comings and goings with delivery drivers collecting, customers placing orders etc. Best not to have tables in that area.

Dined in: horrendous service. Ordered via the app before my husband. He was served before me and had enough to time to finish his dish whilst I was still waiting for mine. 55 minutes after ordering my order still was nowhere to be seen. When I asked about my order I was rebuffed rudely by the staff. No apologies. I had to repeat 4 times what I had ordered. We did not even get glasses with our drinks. The cutlery is not refilled and you have to ask multiple times for forks and knives. Whilst we were there multiple people were not getting their orders and were complaining to the staff. No one received an apology.

Food was nice and served quickly. We ordered starters and a main. Good location in islington. Been to this nandos a few times. Only issue with our experiance was that a lot of the lighting was flashing and blubs were about to die. This was very distracting.

Honestly the worst Nando’s there is. The staff barely acknowledge you, in fact we’ve stood in the door for about 10 minutes before when it was empty and no one even looked our way. We’ve been a few times now and it’s the same each time, really weird experience given the energy most Nando’s have. Wouldn’t recommend
