went to this nandos and all of the staff are coughing in the kitchen. Waited about 40 minutes for food.

As others seem to have reported - parking ticket for 3 of our group that were driving. £180 in fines for a group of 5 to eat at Nandos. Absolute con. We were parked outside the front doors of the restaurant, and non of the staff communicated this would be an issue. Save yourself the hassle and eat elsewhere to force Nandos Headingley to have some urgency in resolving this issue.

I was disappointed with my experience here. The place was overly crowded, which made it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. While the staff were clearly doing their best under the circumstances, it was obvious they were overwhelmed. Service felt rushed, and it was hard to get the attention we needed. As for the food, it was underwhelming. Nothing particularly stood out, and it lacked the freshness or creativity I was hoping for. Overall, while the effort from the staff was commendable, the dining experience just didn't live up to expectations.

Nando's is my guilty pleasure. I don't do fast food and I wouldn't say this is. The food is wholesome and nutritious, always very high quality. I also like the decor and the music. This is one of the better outlets I've visited. The staff here were super friendly and provided great service. Thank you to the hard working team here!

Nandos 's Food and service is Good as usuall .But the car park there is misleading ,if got there to pick up your food ,you will get a dodgy ticket from the ukcp scams.Are Nandos costumers allowed there to pick up their food legally? Thankyou

First time I've ever visited this Nandos and the first time I've ever had takeout from Nandos - extremely impressed! Service was excellent. I collected the food myself. Everything was fresh and warm and well packed. The guy at the counter was super helpful and really friendly. Only annoyed thing is - the parking directly outside the restaurant is NOT for nandos customers, so you have to find street parking elsewhere. But other than this, was really pleased with the service and food here.

would not recommend sadly, the staff was nice however they lost my order and i was sat waiting for 45 minutes with nobody checking up, i only received my food once i asked where it was as i’d been waiting so long. not idea after work, ruined the experince

Great food all cooked really well staff were really good. Clean inside as you would expect No parking outside is an issue you get. You could get fined for parking in front of nandos.

Harry Cooke made some of the best thighs I think nandos has ever served. Friendly service and staff too.

Great food and atmosphere. Had a 1/2 chicken for dinner and it’s grilled on point. There are plenty of staff around so you feel being helped. Leah served me the meal and she’s lovely.

No cutlery. Ordered double breasted butterfly and got a single chicken breast butterflied. Although staff insisted I got what I ordered!? Wrong spice level requested and no napkins. Not that busy really do can't really fathom the chaos. Staff were polite, hence 2 stars rather than 1.

Mixed herb chicken was amazing and the service was quick and friendly

Food was decent, standard Nandos, i went in with two vouchers of around £30 expecting to pay ‘nothing’ for my meals (as i’d use the vouchers) that i was getting, however i was informed i could not use these because the machine was not charged and would have to fork out the straight £50. (which is outrageous for nandos by the way) i’m not confrontational so i did not say anything however this isn’t really my problem and they should be able to take my payment if they say they accept it.

Normally I like Nando's - I am new to the Leeds and had a dinner with friend spend £30 and got £60 Parking ticket. Staff is ok but should have clearly say's that parking is not belongs to Nando's. I cant image how dumb is to build Restaurant in someone else car park, that is shame on Nando's. Sad part is so many reviews on the £60 parking ticket but management has no action which is very disappointing - Guys please learn and help your customers and did you notice £60 is some ones full day salary. I don't have zero stars otherwise would have given.

Absolute waste of money. Chicken was dry and gristly, the wings were so pale they looked boiled. Never again Nando's not here not anywhere 🤢

Dont visit this Nandos if you drive, theres no clear sinage that states nandos staff and customers are unable to use the car park. Literally picked up some food and received a £60 fine.

Food is always good and service quick. Only slight complaint is the poor music that plays on a loop.

I have not tried Nandos yet, but always appears to be popular as a hangout to meet friends for a meal. The car park is for Nandos, and 2 GP surgeries and we park regularly to attend appts. The food looks very good so would probably go try it at a later date.

I was absolutely appalled after visiting Nandos Headingley today. Firstly, I ordered through the QR code which I was advised to do in which £30 came out my account but no order was confirmed. After mentioning it to a member of staff who was seemingly unbothered he told me to try and order again as it ‘happens all the time’. I then ordered again in which another £30 came out of my account and I saw the same order failed screen. In this case £60 had come out of my account. I then went over to the till and was met by an unpleasant blonde girl who again seemingly did not care and had no interest in the fact that I was £60 down with no food at all? She said again this happens all the time but surely if anyone had any sense they would recommend ordering at the till? Baffling. She then brought over a manager who said he couldn’t find the order and the money would bounce back in between an hour to 3 days and I should order again. Why on earth would I spend £90 attempting to buy a Nandos? I actually cannot with these people😭. I never received a single apology from any of those waiters or the ‘manager’ and nobody was seemingly helpful. By this point my friend was half way through finishing her food in which I sat and watched. The audacity of the man behind the till to ask how our imaginary food was is absolutely insane. Not a single apology or any way to solve the issue came around. How on earth is that customer service? I understand Nandos is a chain but that situation is genuinely laughable. I’m still £60’s down but luckily was met by amazing service and an unreal dinner over at Residence. Would absolutely stay clear from this Nandos, genuinely question the competence of the people working there. Beware! X

We went here the person told wait for 10 mins but before who came he gave table to them . Then when he gave table it was very dirty we requested him to give another table but he fused . Will never visit this branch again poor management

I parked directly in front of the door and went in for food, it turns out the car park can not be used by Nando’s customers and I now have a parking fine for £100 that can be reduced to £60 if paid within 28 days. Nando’s you have a sign up telling people this as there are loads of people getting caught and you would never expect the car park in front of the building to not allow parking.

Have been here before but not got parking ticket was not aware parking right outside nandos is for Dr surgery which not even open on Sundays. Signs not even visible from certain angles and when dark not at all and also if drive in from nandos side.

Great place to sit and enjoy a quick meal. Incredible service and never a huge wait time.

restaurant is good but nobody care about the delivery here. drivers wait outside the window for long time sometimes there is snow or raining but they dont even care about this. If order is not ready atleast they should inform the driver instead of ignore them

In order online to not wait to long in the restaueant( at 3:30 pm). The gentleman who packed my order repeated absolutely everything I had in the order but in fact he didn't put the sauces... what can I say... very careful to repeat everything from the receipt but without placing in the bag 3 garlic sauces....very disappointed because I drove 4 miles to the restaurant and now I'm not willing to drive another 8 miles for those who don't know how to do their jobs....

Nandos Headingley makes no effort to warn customers about the car park in front of their restaurant. Nandos Headingley is a trap for UKCPS parking distortion. DO NOT GO there if driving or you will be fined £100. Although it is right on the door of the restaurant, the car park belongs to someone else called Hollybank.

I am so in happy as I can see many more have received parking fines no one in the restaurant made me aware even though they know I was parked out side waiting for my food and the order was wrong that's why we waited longer than we should I will never go to nandos again how can you have parking outside and no-one said you can not park outside. Never again

My go to Nandos in Leeds, mainly for delivery but thought I’d collect today! Requested the wings well done with a crispy skin and they had to ask them to cook them more when I got there as they could’ve been grilled more (personal choice). The gentleman that served me, may have been the manager, was extremely polite, smiling, helpful, welcoming and very respectful, thank you! The store is well signed to advise customers that they should not park in the car park outside the store. Didn’t give 5 as the wings had to be grilled further even after my initial request but once received, I was all smiles after eating them, bang on! I ordered Vusa and that IS the hottest I’ve ever had from ANY Nandos. Keep up the quality and good customer service guys! Well done!!!

The service here is terrible, they are more bothered about takeaways than customers in the restaurant.

Lukewarm food, stale bread, overstaffed so heavily all we could hear was staff messing about. One chef spat water on another staff member through a straw. Not great. Parking is ridiculous as you get fined if you park out the front of it. Don't come here thinking you'll save a few quid compared to the city centre locations either!

Before ordering I asked the customer service about the parking, they told that this is not their parking. Even it was on the front of restaurant gate. I moved away immediately. I think maximum 3 minutes were there with the car and it cost £60. So be careful.

Loved this Nandos and it was good food and atmosphere. The three stars is for those driving. Really a struggle to find parking for anyone not familiar with the area!

Food is ok but be careful don't park your car infront of the restuarnt as it belongs to a doctor's surgery. We had to pay a parking ticket of £60 although our food didn't cost that much. The owner of the car park says the car park displays a notice saying 'staff and customers of Nando's are not permitted to park in this car park' however you can easily miss it in the dark. Nandos should display a notice on their door saying 'Don't park your car in the car park on the front as it doesn't belong to Nandos you could get a parking ticket for parking here'.

Great overall experience... Lots of students but they kept to themselves. BE WARNED!!! DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOT outside the nandos... You will be fined... Found out the hard way. Staff are well aware of this but just don't say anything about it.

Sort it out Nando's there is an empty car park in front of you, but as you have decided to save money by not paying for the parking which is available allowing your customers to get fines. The very least you can do is warn customers on entry or have some notice on entry. I wouldn't have minded but I was left to wait 15 minutes when the food was already ready sat on the side for 15mins. If I picked it up when I entered I wouldn't have got an invoice.

Food amazing as always!! Just fuming as always come and collect are take out and park right outside run in and get it. To have just received a parking fine for doing as I always do! Does not say anywhere can not park here so unfair not only on me the customer but also nandos as a business as I will not be returning to get another 60pounds fine, as there is very limited other parking near by. Even more annoying as you can see on the picture my car lights are on so there for obviously my engine was left on whilesbi ran in.

Worst nandos I have every been too.... Wanted a half chicken, they didn't have any Ordered a sunset burger, I was then served a plain chicken breast instead. I ask for the bun, they didn't have any bread. Not good enough for £15

The redhead server fed me every fookin chip 5 stars. She even chewed my food for me or might as well have as she was that good.

I was disappointed at the order service at the till, I was holding my two year old son and it felt like the staff behind the till doesnt like the presence of him although he was quiet. She was holding a very hushed tone while speaking with me, and for a second I thought am at a drive through at KFC, questions were firing at me even before I finish my sentence, and I know exactly what am ordering, how spicy I want my chicken! No doubt I ordered the wrong chicken for my boy, forgot about the bbq sauce. I thought she was being very rude, and on the invoice it says her name is Mel. Its a bit dissappointing as she was wearing a senior roll looking uniform and was giving orders to other staff at the same time. I wonder what gives her the promotion, maybe her past experiences in KFC?

We were seated quickly and our food arrived pretty soon after we had ordered. The only little issue was them having no mayonnaise and not considering to offer an alternative, which isn’t very helpful to a customer. The food was, however, hot and tasty and we weren’t rushed to leave, so we could enjoy the table for quite a while - thank you.

This business gave me a parking ticket for £60 while I was delivering their food with deliveroo. I already earn less than minimum wage. It's hard enough as it is with fuel prices being so high taking half my wages away. I am student struggling to pay rent and is the last problem I need right now.

I love Nandos and Headingley Nandos is really spot on, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food as always is great and perfect for any occasion.

Collecting my take away last week turned out to be very expensive. I was ticketed by UKCPS for parking right outside the restaurant. Has cost me £60. Not clear that these spaces are for the medical centre and not Nandos customers

Got a parking ticket for parking in front of the resturant and no one cared to tell me it belonged to the GP. Like who cares to read the small print when the Nandos guy sees you parking and then opens the door, but decides to keep the parking situation a secret!

WARNING, no one makes you aware when collecting an order that you cannot drive to the front of the shop,now in receipt of parking fine for a 1 minute collection .Nando’s not interested. Warning from Nando’s when orders taken would be advantageous. Will not be returning. Other shops in same location pay to have reg monitoring so customers do not get ticket bravo to them shame on Nando’s

All parking outside this resturant is private. No where on website or on phone was thie warning advise. BEWARE.

Nandos. Come on it’s a cheeky nandos. Set in the middle of the student area of headingely. The staff are friendly and the food is fantastic. This will sound daft but it tastes like one of the better nandos in Leeds. Always great for a group of friends to go grab a quick bite.

As soon as we walked in all the staff we saw had smiles on their faces and where very welcoming! One person in particular, Ethan were fantastic! Lovely service and made sure everyone was okay. He is great for this place! Thank you for this great experience👍🏽😁

Walked in and a table of 3 was getting kicked out.ok it happens. chicken arrived. Nearly choked.it was the driest id ever had .spoke to manager. It got replaced immediately with decent chicken and a yarn about cant get the delivery s .sometimes no chicken blah blah. A beutiful girl who recognised me from the gym who works there made my visit a 4 star cheers and happy new year.

I came to this nandos, enjoy a romantic evening with my partner. We ordered our food and I realised my mistake with the order. I apologised and politely asked if it was possible to have it changed, if not then it’s fine. I was met by an aggressive and rude toned manager who let it be known that she was not happy. She proceeded to aggressively grab my plate and loudly and rudely announce she would change my order. Fantastic way to treat customers.

Be careful where you park, there's a warden on the prowl! The guy sits in a car, waits for you to walk in the restaurant and then jumps out and takes photos of your car! What's wrong with society, why can't we take time to speak with one another instead of punishing with impunity!

Some of the staff don't even know how to do their job. I asked her before she put my order through to print me off the receipt so I can get the code to scan in the nandos app for my discount and she didn't acknowledge what I said. She then had me waiting a few mins asking people in the shop how to do it. An from what it looked, the manager was the only one to know how to sort the issue. They told me to give me my nandos card number and said the reward would be on tomorrow it's been a few days now nothing come through.

I've been hearing a lot about Nando's since I got here. I had high expectations. I would say the food was okay. Not anything too amazing. The menu was a bit basic. The chips were good. The service was also good. When we got there we were told we would have to wait 20 minutes for a table. When we were about to leave a table became available. The food is also pricey for the portions you get.

Typical nando's experience, food similar to their other venues. Staff pleasant and helpful. However, it seems this particular restaurant could do with a good clean, the tables and chairs were all quite sticky which doesn't make for the best dining experience.
