Nando's Finchley in City of London, Westminster

I’ve been going to this Nando’s for the last 12-14 years never had an issues or problems would have given them a 5 star as the food is good only fries was cold but I don’t think it was due to the cook but temperature to restaurant seems cold. Service is good as well, until a waiter came to our table asking if we were finish eating as they needed the table for other guest which he wasn’t rude about it was just unethical as we’ve paid and wasn’t ready to leave as yet as was in a meeting and wanted to order desert but ended up leaving.

Terrible service, very slow but ionut was very kind and understanding. Waited 2 HOURS for my food that never arrived staff kept saying it was coming, got my refund, finally got my food in a takeaway box and left... this branch is terribly ran. Nandos fix yourself

Currently waiting an hour and a half for my churrasco burger meal and mac and cheese on the side. The staff are running around like lost chickens asking me if each plate is mine and none of the food is mine. Management is horrible in here staff seem incompetent . CAN I HAVE MY FOOD?

Think standard of nandos has declined. Just not enough staff here. A lot of waiting around for plates and cutlery. The staff do their best.

Good place for a quick dinner, Basia was very good at welcoming us in and service was very good. Only thing is it was cold as there was an air conditioning vent right above the table so the food got cold very quickly.

Walked in alongside my sister hoping to have a pleasant meal after 2 hours of deciding, after ordering what we wanted to eat, the food showed up within the space of 5 minutes and surprisingly, I was left to go home with stabbing pains of salmonella

me and my friend asked to be seated on a booth because it was too noisy on the table they wanted to give us and everyone said no but one of the members of stuff, polish lady with red hair saw us sitting in the middle of everything and she helped us move to a booth where we could enjoy our food in peace, thank you so much for your help!

My side of chips was significanyly smaller than my grand daughters. However when I flagged this to the waitress she offered to bring some more free chips for the table which was nice. They run out of napkins.

Amazing food love chips and garlic bread

The food was okay and pretty typical of Nando’s. The chicken was tasty, but the sides were a little disappointing. The Peri-salted chips were cold and the spiced grains & butternut squash hardly had any butternut squash and green beans. Not the end of the world, though. Service was friendly. We were greeted warmly with a smile by the young lady. The atmosphere was okay. The tables on the upper level are packed quite tightly, but luckily it wasn’t too busy when we were there.

Unlike many other Nando's outlets this one feels very neglected - for example we noticed discarded food all over the kitchen floor and the general feel of the restaurant is run-down. Substantial improvements are needed here.

The place is just opposite the Hollywood bowl. Food was great tbh but portion was a bit disappointing. The chicken didn’t come the way it was described in the menu so We had to get a burger and that was more filling. Whereas we were trying to eat real (healthy) food 😄😄 Apart from that, the food was really tasty. Love that they have many spices if you love very peppery stuff you’re good! But having to go all the way to the front to get it isn’t always one’s jam 🥴🥴

What a terrible place to go. Staff seemed extremely numb when it came to customer service. Wasn't even that busy. Asked for a specific table, restaurant was half empty; we been asked to sit somewhere else. Found feathers in my partner meals. Waitress dropped food from the plate on the table as well. I would not come back again. Place in general looks just dirty.

A disgrace! I poped in on the 21st oct and dropped a football themed cake for my nephew who was celebrating his birthday there that day, along with mini football candles and an extra personalised cake topper, o ly to hear from my sister in law that the cake came over with two random candles on it and no extra topper. How disappointing and disgusting to STEAL some candles, which would have added to the cake design. My nephew was expecting something else than he got because of someone so unresponsible and careless. I wish someone to contact me and compensate my sister in law for making her stress out.

Got food poisoning. Went for lunch on a Wednesday. Noticed the chicken is kept cooked in a draw, Thought nothing of this as I worked in a kitchen and I know the tricks. Obviously they did not heat up the chicken properly as my food was ready in a few minutes and I spent the next day with the runs. I had no dinner so it could only have been the chicken. I paid cash and did not get a receipt if I did I would be taking this up with Nandos. Come on guys do better, we come to you for good chicken at least cook it fresh!!!

Excellent branch of Nandos! Very clean and well organised; food came quickly and was very yummy! Staff were especially nice and helpful, particularly Basia (sorry if that spelling is wrong!) who made sure we had everything we needed. Would return and recommend to others.

My daughter is gluten intolerant and the manager, Emily took great care to make sure that we would eat tasty food that wouldn’t make my daughter ill. Emily showed great attention to detail and it was obvious that she cares. 😊🌷

Coming to nandoes in Finchley the customer service I've received is always excellent. Aron the young man who is always at the till delivers good customer service. He is always friendly and if I was the manager he would be given a pay rise. I have never had a bad experience at this nandoes all the staff are great.

This place is an utter joke! Don’t go!! We queued for 20 mins just to order and sat for a further 45 mins waiting for food during which time a Nando’s waiter dropped a plate of food down my coat. We noticed that 4 groups of people got their food before us when they had sat down much later than us. The guy who took our order at the till was super friendly and the manager was very apologetic when food and sauce was spilt all over my coat, but the rest of the service there was just so bad. Got money back and left! Awful, disorganised and stressful. Not what you want on your Saturday afternoon!

Two orders of peri chips costing 3.75 each should NOT look like this. One box considerably less than half full. I know the place was busy, but tonight's meal was a joke.

I order 1/4 chicken and 10 wings. The chicken was completely burned testing sharp and coal. and the wings was undercooked could see the blood on it.

I am disappointed when I ordered a sharing platter for delivery. They did not include cutlery! How are the costumers going to eat the chicken and rice without cutlery! Please don’t forget to include cutlery with all your deliveries.

I would give zero if possible. Came in at 9.30 in the evening with a small child. They lost my order (do you know how is possible to lose the order?!? go there they know). At 10.04 waiter comes asking what i wanted... I want to be served in time. I ask for a refund, the waitress refunds me in cash and does not refund the drinks (nearly 10 quids for a coke and a very posh tinned wine, never seen it before, only in cheap aeroplanes).... what about 30 minutes waiting for nothing,,,, shame on you 10 quids I buy a drink an a meal at Muswell hill Wetherspoons, better looking place and more welcoming, shame on you

I was pleasantly surprised that Nando’s cater for vegetarians. I have been avoiding it all these years believing that all they sold was chicken! My husband and son enjoyed the chicken, while I had a tasty veggie meal. Staff were friendly and, although we had to wait 30 minutes, we could go and entertain ourselves elsewhere while waiting for the call, which arrived promptly. Thankfully we did not have to use the App to order. Food arrived in good time. Choice of refillable soft drinks is a good idea. The restaurant felt airy and comfortable. I liked the big windows. Overall a good experience.

5 stars for “Chai” because our food took forever to arrive and he was very kind and professional with us.

The food was lovely and the team working tonight were all very attentive and prompt - especially Marina who was working tirelessly all around the restaurant. Real credit to the restaurant! :)

Customer service was good but the food doesn’t taste great I ordered a salad. I don’t usually get a salad but on Sunday on my. Lunch break, I went to Nando’s on Finchley high road. The salad was delightful. I then went to North Finchley today and it was horrid way to much tomatoes , no sauce (literally a drizzle) I spent in total £32.10 on rubbish. A positive note the chips were finally not over cooked. Yaaay

Have been to and ordered take-away from this Nandos several times over the years however this distinct visit made me want to write a review, food was great as always, service was particularly fast for a Sunday evening, and most importantly, the staff, I've seen many come and go but the team I had witnessed yesterday seemed to have such great chemistry. I was lucky to have been served by a very enthusiastic hostess and charming till attendant, unfortunately I did not catch their names but hopefully this review helps. My partner suffers from severe dairy and nut allergies and they both assisted me when placing my order for the table, we were a group of four(table 12 I think), I had taken us out for my mother's birthday and they had made it a wonderful finish to the day we had!

Marina did an amazing job- seating 40 people although it was very stressful and packed she didn’t disappoint!

I've never been a fan of takeaway Nandos as it never tastes nice once you bring it home. Despite that I went ahead and ordered takeaway from Nandos Finchley Lido anyway. Nandos did not disappointed! The chicken was cooked and marinated well, the chips portion size was decent, and most importantly it tasted really nice. Would recommend!

Absolute nightmare! ordered from deliveroo before a few times but boy every single time I received the wrong order or received it with missing items. Done a take away tonight (picked it up myself) but honestly the chicken was not even edible as it over over cooked and rock solid. Tried calling them but guess what the customer service was worst than the chicken.

Ordered online for pick up. Got there slightly early so order wasn't quite ready but the manager - Isabella was very professional in her approach and said they are on it. Service from her exceeds expectations, greeted with a smile and left as a happy customer. Food was cooked to perfection, hot as you would expect it to be.

Years ago this was the only option for Nandos in Finchley and loved going there even though it was always busy. The staff here are still fantastic and helpful as always and friendly. Food is good as always but sometimes not as good as some other stores I feel. Also, not having any hot drinks (coffee/tea) at all since Covid in 2020 is a big let down for such a big restaurant. I think with a few tweaks here and there this could be back to 5 star for sure.

Not sure why I keep ordering from this Nando’s. I ate in last week and the chicken was dry, then got take out today and I couldn’t taste the lemon and herb sauce on the wings at all. Location is convenient because of parking , otherwise I would get from Wood Green. Every time I’ve been to wood green nandos the chicken has been cooked well, can’t say the same for finchley :(

There is a large community of Muslims living in Finchley and surrounding areas , Nando’s has opened two branches in Finchley and North Finchley and none of the branches cater for Muslims and dell Halal chicken , shameful behaviour .

A decent enough Nando's, good food if not a little bit pricey

Place is dirty. I had to ask the waiter to clean our table because it was sticky. Floor and seats covered the rest of the food, nobody's cleaning after the leaving guests. Cutleries are also dirty. We were waiting 20 minutes that somebody come to us, we were waiving to the waiters without result so my husband took the order at the till because the item was not on their app what we wanted to eat only their menu. We love Nando's but never this place again. Poor management 👎🏻

It's always a pleasure at Nando's because as far as I'm concerned, they have the best chicken from the wings to the thighs. I like Nando's Finchley a lot and I go there often because I love watching movies at Vue Cinema close-by. The only downside to Nando's will be, the serve yourself system. I really do not understand why the waiters or servers cannot bring me water, why do I have to go take the cutlery and sauces myself though ? I still don't get that when it is supposed to be a dine-in setting, but in all, the food is amazing.

This Nando’s has great service and friendly staff. It becomes extremely busy at this particular one, especially around dinner time so I advise to come earlier or later in the day. The food took a little while to be cooked and brought to the table but that is expected with a completely full restaurant. I do recommend this one for a evening out
