Nando's in Hackney

Nice atmosphere and busy vibe. Good food and better service. Only been here four times and no expert but would return and recommend. To those 'salty' reviewers this is Dalston 😎

Would recommend the peri peri chicken mine was a bit over cooked but still nice, drink bottomless and nice staff. Only downside, the place was full and had to wait 25 mins for a table + waiting for the food

Great service, good food, fresh and nice! Came here late with my friend and got myself some wings, spicy rice, mash and coleslaw. It was amazing!

Arrived at 8.06pm Nando's was empty, surprisingly. Now I understand why!!!. Ordered 1 sunset burger and 2 sides, waited almost 40mins...this is not service. Its embarrassing for the reputation of Nando's Staff work like headless chickens, unorganised, not professional. Home made version is much better!! Cheaper and reliable service!!.

Terrible food, unethical service, unhygienic. Avoid going to Nandos Dalston. The Person working Shah double charged the order. I have raised a fraud case Please Avoid Nandos Dalston. Manager Savana no customer service skills and dose not how to speak absolutely terrible.

Orders are not checked and dilliveroo drivers do not know how to recheck orders or take any responsibility for correct sauces in bag. Told ring branch who do not always pick up and add any bits to your order. Who do you blame everyone saying it’s the others fault and you end up throwing away product. So disappointed as their food was getting good. Rather make it at home now day last of my order and cheaper.

Usually I quite like the occasional Nando’s, but I should have heeded the other reviews that said not to go. Somehow over lockdown this place has gotten even worse. So first of all the queuing system wasn’t working so during the 2 hour wait I had to phone multiple times to sort it out. Then we got there and both of the taps in the ladies bathroom are not working so my girlfriend had to wash her hands in the men’s toilets. The food arrives in a reasonable amount of time and then we asked for our favourite sauces. You now cannot get bottles of sauces but now ask the waiters and they wil bring over little sachets. The issue was that they no longer stock our favourite sauces - for me the Extra Hot Sauce and for my gf the Salad Dressing. Given that without sauces Nando’s is actually just incredibly average and relatively dry chicken we decided to just send the food back, get a refund and go somewhere else. They were apologetic and gave us the refund without an issue and let us finish the bottle of wine so can’t fault their staff and customer service. So basically if you are happy with just the mild sauces then go ahead but if you like it spicy go somewhere else.

I like the restaurant though no parking space, staff are well mannered and tried their best to make you feel comfortable, the meal arrived on time though not all that busy but environment warm.

My friends and I love going to Nando's and services like the one we received last night from Maryam was absolutely marvellous. Very kind, friendly and effective.

I like Nando’s but this one is poor. It’s not the staff’s fault, I believe it’s the fact that Nando’s have over committed themselves to the likes of Deliveroo & Uber eats. It took over 30 mins for us to be told they had to change our order. Priority is given to the delivery drivers who spend their time jostling for position at the tills, giving the resturant an anxious unpleasant vibe. Nando’s usually does what it says on the tin. This one falls short. Avoid.

Great food drinks staff but had about 8 young guys who seem to be friends of the staff jumping all over the place talking very loud and throwing rolled tissue at each other the family tried to ignore them the staff seem to not say anything to there mates who was making the fuss other then that it's ok places will come again

Visited Nando’s for the first time in years. Was quite disappointed. When the three of us arrived, we were not greeted nicely but told to wait in the corner by the door. Eventually we were taken to a table even though the restaurant was half empty. It was freezing. All of us were very cold. We went to the queue and ordered and it seemed everyone else got their food first. There seems to be a huge priority over making Deliveroo orders. Because of Special treatment for Deliveroo customers I shall not be visiting again. My friends food came after 45 minutes and i had to wait 55 minutes. Toilets were vile. Shame the burger was cold too.

Worst food ever it’s the place because other Nando’s are nice to make things worse I ordered a quarter chicken an chips meal I only got the chips an the sides I call up to ask where is the chicken was put on hold try ring bk no answer very bad service too

This was the single worst Nandos experience I have ever had, on the 15th September 2018 there was no clean running water in the male toilets as the taps were simply not working. The takeaway service was slow and an absolute shambles, with many people waiting some for at least 20 minutes that I saw. The staff who were supposed to be distributing the orders should be fired as they seemed to be unaware of the existence of the ten or so delivery drivers parked outside, they also didn't grasp until the manager or till girl which ever told them about the clearly marked number system that is there for the customer to get their order instead wandering out saying a random food and walking back. My strong advice would be to sack these two idiots and buy a computer screen to display the numbers it will save the company money and solve this issue overnight. The food I received was exactly standard for a Nandos neither good nor bad just standard.

I ordered a meal for myself and my partner to then drive home and see that our chips were not in the bag!!!! I have now had to drive back to complain. And I was greated with a careless staff who didn’t see an issue with me having to eat one part of my meal cold. I am now waiting another 20 minuets for chips. The level of your brand you shouldn’t drop the ball and you need to retrain for attention to detail. It is unexplainable to not be compensated adequately and not be told here you go mate. I’m appalled!
