I don’t get the attraction of this chain at all. It’s overpriced for battery raised, skinny, factory chickens slaughtered en masse, frozen and dispatched to freezers in this chain. Likewise the mashed potatoes and fries too are mass produced in factories also frozen and transported to the freezers in this chain. So prep is defrosting, microwaving, deep frying and oven heating. I find their peri peri sauces - also mass produced in factories - acrid. I find them unpleasant to eat and to smell - they pinch my nose. The only attraction with fast food, junk food, is that the skinny battery chickens when defrosted are flame singed and grilled with flaccid skin on but that’s about it. Cheap crap food and priced at double what it should be. It’s not for me. I find the staff friendly but really interaction is limited as customers get their own drinks, get their own sauces so it’s all rather unappealing and not at all appetising.

Embarrassed, I was in Nando’s with my daughter and I had a bad experience. The manager told me they put my name in a book. So I tried to redeem it, months later. On being seated I said someone put our name in the book, it was in the summer, I don’t even think you could still have it. We’re happy to pay. At first the manager was really nice, but then, things changed. So despite not using this Nando’s and stating I hadn’t been in since the last bad experience. I was told I was there all the time. Accused of fraud by redeeming whatever was in the book twice. They weren’t even sure they had the right entry. But Two managers said I had been in to redeem but they had the wrong person they stated December. When I told the manager I was embarrassed I was told I was causing a scene and was in all the time despite not being back since the first incident. After leaving I went back to clarify the date with evidence from my phone of the date of the visit and to ask for an apology as the date quoted by managers was wrong. I was told that there were families and children present and that I was aggressive. No apology was offered despite me indicating that they clearly had the wrong family. Completely horrific. Story changed twice, male manager claimed he did not say we had redeemed it. He remembered the first incident and if I remember correctly was at least partly in the middle of the first incident which caused the mess. Told By him I was making a scene . He then said something else Was going on here. Referred to an investigation. Kept stating there are families here and you are drawing attention to yourself. Clearly any human would be upset after quite blatantly being accused of fraud. Worst experience ever

I visited the Rushmere branch of Nando’s midweek for lunch with a friend. This was my first time in this branch of Nando’s but having been to a few others in Belfast and London, I knew what to expect. It was fairly empty when I arrived shortly after midday, but it got steadily busier. The happy, helpful server who greeted me was happy for me to choose my own table - I picked a booth opposite the drinks and condiments (see photo). The green leather(ette?) booths are very nice and comfortable. The menu is the same here as every other Nando’s so go online if you want to know what they serve - but it’s a Peri Peri chicken restaurant, and they do a great selection of chicken dishes. They also have a range of vegetarian options. I usually get a butterfly chicken breast but decided to try something different this time and ordered their chicken breast wrap instead, as I was tempted by the mention of chilli jam. I got 2 sides with it - my favourites of Macho peas and spicy rice. You order at the counter and pay then and there - the girl at the till offered me a unique code to go online to get my points added as I forgot to bring my Nando’s points. This was nice of her. I didn’t even know this was possible. You also pay for your drinks when ordering your food. I got a mango juice which was lovely - nice and thick like a smoothie texture. My friend was given a glass to get her Diet Coke - there’s a machine for fizzy drinks and you can get as many refills as you like for a set price. The ice dispenser was out of order on this occasion - hopefully not a regular thing. You help yourself to cutlery and napkins and sauces at the same counter. I was pleased to see they had a good range of sauces available, in various flavours. They were very neat and tidy, and the restaurant certainly looked clean as well. Our food didn’t take long to be brought to the table - probably about 10 minutes or so. My wrap was lovely, as were my sides. All we’re and tasty! The food was consistent with what I got in other branches so no surprises. My friend hit a Dino chicken dish with chips and coleslaw - which she enjoyed. The portions were quite large too. The staff were cheerful and couldn’t have been nicer. They checked first whether I’d been to Nando’s before as they would have explained the menu and system of ordering otherwise, and they also checked with us during our meal that everything was ok. They didn’t rush us to finish and left it a respectable amount of time after we’d finished eating before asking if they could take away our plates, and also afterwards to check if we’d like to order coffees / desserts. I was tempted to order the chocolate cake but at approx £5, I decide to grab a bun in the shopping centre instead. My wrap and sides were reasonable value though. All in all this is a nice branch of Nando’s and I’d be happy to go back, and happy to recommend it.

Ridiculous. Have tried on five separate occasions to order their new "Greens and Grains" salad. Every time it's been "out". Even at 4pm on a Monday. On the 5th time they didn't have it I said to the duty manager that it was crazy they never have it - Her response - "Yea, everyone starts their diets on a Monday so we never have it by the afternoon......" Enough said. I asked for the hummus instead......er..... we don't have that either. I opted for the Caesar salad which was swimming in dressing. Never again. Worst Nando's ever.

Just visited Nandos at Rushmere Shopping Centre, Craigavon, with my wife for a quiet lunchtime meal. Overall, the food: breast of chicken on Bhatti Bread and Chips for me; Burger/salad meal for my wife. Result? The food was served hot, and well cooked in a clean eating space cubicle, BUT, the portions of chicken meat were SMALL to say the least! Come on, Nandos Craigavon! Don't skimp on the chicken! You are doing a good job in the other aspects of your eating experience provision - BUT, you must give the paying customer enough of your meat product, or they, like my wife and I, will go away DISSATISFIED AND STILL HUNGRY!

Ive been to nandos resturants in different places and this one has been by far the worst ive eaten in. First we where shown to our table and when we sat down the table had not been cleaned and there was sauce all over it which my husband cleaned with a tissue. So we choose what we wanted and went to the til as normal to order and when finished our order the same person who had put us on our table had given our table to someone else!! So we had to go to another table. So the food arrived and it looked the part but as we started eating, our side of sweet potatoes where not cooked very well and where hard in the middle. The chicken was very well done! We finished eating and my husband showed the manager that the sweet potato was raw and he said we cant do anything because we had finished. The manager was the same person that seated us and the other people at the same table. Because of this experience i would not reccommend the craigavon nandos.

Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food was good, had the whole platter, between four, it’s just over £20 fo a whole chicken and two large sides, good value for a family, much better value than ordering kids meals and adult meals. Loads of chips so not measly portions. Restaurant is clean, well stocked with sauces etc. Will definitely go back.

After much debating on what to have I decided on the Filet steak prego roll with garlic bread side order. My fiancé had chicken wings. The order came pretty quick which was good. We were hungry and ready to eat. The chicken wings are a strong favourite of my fiancé's so he enjoyed those in their hot flavour. I ate my garlic bread which was ok. A bit soda bread like, slightly tough but ok at the same time. Not much taste to it but with the sauce I used it was ok. Then to my prego roll. Looked good but that's were it ended. A thick slice of tomoto with the green hard center bit on my steak just put me off straight away. My picture shows this! Very bad kitchen prep allowing this to make its way onto anyone's plate. My steak to start was almost impossible to cut with an ordinary knife. Asked staff for a sharper knife which they don't have. On talking to young waitress she told me I'm not the first to complain about this. The effort I had to put into cutting this steak was hardly worth it. It was an Okay piece of steak, nothing special at all. Hard to cut, not much taste, infact very average. The roll it came in was tough to eat and was like a sour dough taste. I was unimpressed by our first visit to this newly opened nandos. Personally I won't be back. Almost £34 for what we got was soo not worth it. My mistake for choosing nandos over McDonald's. That won't happen a second time.

It's good to see a few new food offerings around the Craigavon/Portadown area and this is a great addition. Went there with a friend last night and enjoyed in very much. I had a butterfly chicken, spicy, and a couple of sides. The fries were very tasty and the much vaunted garlic bread was a bit on the rubbery side but tasty.I'd be lying if I said I was a fan of the method of service in Nando's, where you check out the menu then report back to the ordering station, McDonald's style. Nonetheless, that's just my opinion and it seems to work for them and people seem to enjoy it so fair dues to them. The bottomless drinks could benefit from a decent sized glass, as the one they give you is tiny and necessitates several trips to the dispenser. My only other gripe is that our starter of Roulette Wings arrived at the same time as the main course. I was told by a member of staff that this may have benn because I didn't stipulate that I wanted it as a starter, but I checked with the young lady who took my order and it was indeed ordered as a starter. The place was clean and tidy, the young lady who met us at the door with menus was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The complaints fall into the "minor" category as far as I'm concerned, and I enjoyed being there so 4 stars for me!

I made a booking at Nando’s for 10 people and they’ve just called me to cancel it.. I’d actually called into the restaurant twice to first of all make sure they took bookings and then the next day to confirm the numbers, without any issues...The reason given for cancelling the booking was that they’ve stopped taking bookings?? Its only a suggestion but perhaps a slightly better way to implement this change in approach would be to honour the bookings you’ve made and simply not take any new ones??

My wife and I headed to the new nandos at the Rushmere shopping center for dinner on a Friday night. The new place looks great but is extremely small, this seems to be a theme with big brands coming to the area, they underestimate the number of people who will want to go there. We waited over 30 minutes for a table, which meant that it was almost a full hour before we got to eat. We wouldn't have minded, as the queue looked busy, but once inside we counted 7 empty tables. The staff weren't really able to manage the flow of customers to get everyone seated. Some of the tables were empty the entire time we were eating, whilst the queue seemed to grow and grow. The food was to the same exacting standards we expect from nandos, and the restaurant is nicely decorated, but the long wait and issues with the queue left a sour taste.I think that we would be better to make the trip to Belfast and be able to walk right in to one of their much larger resturaunts than to wait in line again

Short Summary: Very delicious Chinese food for the region (especially so fresh out of the kitchen). The dishes were a little too saucy but vegetables were crunchy and fresh. Ambiance and service left quite a bit to be desired though, enough to drop the score to a 3/5. Not at all accessible for wheelchair users. Barely accessible for those with mobility impairments. No change tables for families and far too noisy for anyone with sensory issues. Long Form Review: This place seems to have rebranded at some point, so the door sign and menus say “China’s Finest”, however the address and phone number are the same as this existing Trip Adviser entry. The ambiance was quaint and uninspired. Cheap decor and messy table settings, with empty soy sauce bottles that look like they haven’t been cleaned in a while, were not very welcoming at all. However, the tables themselves seemed very clean and the space warm (physically, the radiators were on and it was nice to be warm). Menus (which were stapled together in the wrong page order and had manual price changes in one but not the other) were brought out promptly and orders taken as soon as we were ready. I wasn’t thrilled with silverware being brought to the table despite our having already asked for and received chopsticks (disposable btw) but that seems to be a local quirk. Drinks (2x Tsing Tao Beer and water) came out right away, and the starters (Mini Vegetable Spring Rolls, Prawn Toast and Salt & Chilly Prawn) were not too far behind. We were impressed by the flavors and textures of everything. The prawns were perfectly cooked, the spring rolls were not greasy at all and the prawn toast was crispy on the outside and perfectly done on the inside. Great start. Regrettably from there things got a little strange. The plates were cleared and we had a 45 minute wait for our meals. Not “terrible” but we were one of only 2 tables in the place and dining with a 5 year old which made it a little frustrating. There was no indication that it would be so long, especially after the starters were so fast, so it was very upsetting for our child who had realized how hungry they were after eating the starters and really wanted their main; we had no explanation to give them about why it was taking so long. What made it even harder to enjoy the rest of the evening was that during this wait the phone would not stop ringing for more than a minute at a time (and was set to extraordinarily loud). Take out orders were flying out of the kitchen and out the door at a rapid fire pace and yet we (and the other table) were not even offered a top up of our drinks. No one came to check on us unless we called for help. We ordered a pot of tea. Received two coffee mugs and English breakfast tea in a pot. Now, this could be explained as a simple miscommunication, but let’s be honest, when one orders tea with dinner at a Chinese restaurant, when has one ever meant English breakfast tea? That got corrected quickly enough and yet we were still not offered any more water or other beverages. When it had been an hour since we placed our order, I asked if we should just ask for our food to go… the staff member informed us then that they had “just asked the kitchen to cook” our dinners “since it had been so long”. I don’t even know how to unpack that… so I won’t even try. When the food finally came out (more on the food itself in a minute) rice was served on plates instead of in bowls, and I then had to order the two additional beers, additional hot water for the tea and ask for a bowl for the rice because I was tired of waiting for baseline standard service to be offered. Now, thankfully, the food (the dinners) themselves were very very good indeed! We ordered: Roast Duck in Oyster Sauce on fried rice Satay King Prawns on boiled rice King Prawns on fried Udon Noodles Mixed Vegetable Side Bamboo and Water Chestnut Side These were all very delicious. As we’ve become accustomed to, there was too much sauce on all the vegetable and prawn dishes, however, they were well seasoned, a great consistency and not greasy. The flavour of each dish was unique and added something different. The vegetables were fresh, very crunchy and very bright in colour; we were well impressed. The Bamboo and Waterchestnut dish was a little plain in comparison to everything else, and very large for the fact it only had two vegetables on it, so I definitely recommend that one to share and only if you LOVE bamboo and water chestnuts. (It’s really good though!) At the end of the visit, our child needed the washroom, so we ascended the stairs. We had to climb over a vacuum cleaner and a fire extinguisher to do so, which is to say that in addition to the stairs being super steep to begin with and the restaurant’s seating area being 2 steps up from the very narrow main entrance, this establishment is definitely not mobility/accessibility friendly at all I’m afraid. (Also no real room for buggies or high chairs. There were no changing stations in the bathrooms and the phones would make this place impossible for anyone with auditory sensory/focus issues.) There was no toilet paper in the ladies washrooms when we got there, however, a staff member showed up very quickly with paper rolls without us having asked. I was handed two rolls at the door to the washroom (which contained two stalls and a sink) so I, as the guest, restocked each of the two lavatories (?)… that was certainly a first in all my years. Haha We were able to pay by card, which is always great, and the staff gave us take away boxes to take our leftovers home. We had to ask for a bag but got one quickly. As we got ready to leave our little one was given their choice of lollipop from a big jar from behind the counter, a nice touch. All in all this was a pleasant enough experience, simply because the food was so delicious, BUT it could simply be so much better. It could be so so so much better, if: the service was faster and more forthcoming, if the decor was a little more authentic, the tables better stocked, the chopsticks not disposable, the crockery suitable to the cuisine, the tea loose leaf instead of bagged, the stairs not messy, the ambiance more enjoyable by turning the lights and phones down, separating the take away area from the sit in area, not having the delivery order bag prep area be a dining table right next to seated guests and by increasing the focus on sit in customers (who can be upsold, which I think they forgot). Our bill came to £86 (something there about) and they could definitely have made more money on our table if they had paid us more attention, offered us more drinks, and/or if the wait was shorter. Then we would have ordered more drinks and probably would have wanted dessert too. That would have been nicer for us and better for them. We hope to try again sometime, maybe as a couple instead of a family, and maybe later at night when there may be less focus on takeaways/deliveries.

18 of Killicomaine Jubilee Club went here for our Christmas Lunch. The room was freezing ( a member of staff did bring a tiny fan heater out). No Christmas decorations on the tables, not even a cracker or Christmas napkins. No background music. The turkey parcels were only half ones, one cocktail sausage, one roast potato and mashed potatoes Roast beef dinner consisted of 2 wafer thin slices and same as above without the cocktail sausage. Plenty of vegetables. The dessert wasn't the greatest either. Our end of year meal and venue was so disappointing. One of the members described it as soulless and that's what it was at a cost of £19.95 each. Not a bit of wonder we were the only one's there
