Mid week treat used the 3 course offer. I love seafood I had the seafood supreme it was the best Indian seafood dish I have eaten. Hubby had Lamb byriani it was good too

This restaurant is a hidden gem, the food is outstanding any night of the week, the staff are warm and friendly and the plus side is you get to bring your own drink if wanted I have been multiple times and for several different reasons and never disappointed the chicken naga tawa is wonderful

I used to love this restaurant but it's gone downhill. The curry with chicken, lamb and king prawn only had one prawn. It was tasty but was served luke warm. Everything else was good though, so we didn't comment. My father is almost 80 and not well, so has a very small appetite these days. As a result we go to dinner very early and share a meal between us. We went on a Sunday at 6pm while the restaurant was almost empty. We ordered a set meal for £16 to share but added £8 of sides and £4 for popadoms. So our total would be £28. We could have had 2 three course meals for £32 but it would be wasteful. The meal includes an ice cream but the ice cream menu we were given only had ice cream in a dish with toppings. Dad was disappointed as he only really likes plain vanilla but we ordered the simplest on offer. We didn't finish it as it wasn't nice. The bill was presented with ice cream at £6, so a total of £34. I asked why we were charged and the waiter (owner?) was very rude. He stated that we could have had plain ice cream in our set meal, which was not offered. He told me it was out of kindness that they'd allowed us to order one meal between two. Bonkers when our extra dishes came to almost the price of a full three course meal, at far lower ingredient cost to them! He refused to reduce it, so I agreed to pay the bill but no tip. If he'd been more understanding he'd have been paid a tip similar to the value of an ice cream! My family have used this restaurant regularly, with me only joining them when I'm in the area. I certainly won't go again after being so rudely spoken to. As for the rest of the family, I don't know but I hope they won't.

Good service, food OK, but felt they cheated a bit on what they served. Chicken Tikka wasn't really marinated, more like just coated after the chicken had been cooked. Naga chicken to start. Good but only 3 wings, making each wing cost over £1 each. As you know they are cheap as chips. Don't think we would go back

Nice friendly atmosphere, decent lighting, great music, food good but the desert was an overcharged let down . We had mousse with ice cream, a very tiny portion in tiny glass dish and two of us thought they were not ‘home made’ as told, but were suspiciously like from a Tesco or similar desert pot! The vanilla ice cream wasn’t the best either, tasted cheap. Coffee was nice. The sauces with main courses were not the best- maybe too much coconut mixed in, so wasn’t smooth as we liked , and the ‘mint sauce’ with popadoms didn’t taste of mint. All in all, we will go back again, but we’d rather pay a little more for better quality extras like the ice cream and mint sauce.

Been here lots of times, had a korma this time and sadly wasn’t great. Very bland korma, my husband had something different and he also said wasn’t the greatest. A lot more Indian restaurants in the area so will try them, as not happy with our food here.

A lovely meal with interesting and different dishes served by attentive and helpful staff. They were happy to accommodate us at short notice and made sure we knew it was unlicensed although we had already seen this from other reviews. If we lived locally we would be in there every week!

Had the most fabulous meal here last night, could not fault a thing ! Food was sooo tasty, staff are wonderful and the ambience was just great. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending

Restaurant was cold, wasn’t told when booked no licence for drinks so we weren’t prepared and not clear on web, starters were Luke warm explained to waiter nothing was done, mains initially hot but didn’t retain heat, and one meal had sauce but doesn’t normally- again staff offered no explanation- felt like food was microwaved but just opinion obviously not n kitchen, won’t return as staff didn’t seem to care

From start to finish, everything about the visit to Namaste was really great, including the tasteful decor and ambience of the dining area. The staff were friendly and helpful, food portions were delivered promptly, beautifully presented, really good quality, great taste and incredible value for money from a very extensive menu (3 courses for £13.95). We could not find fault and considering this type of food has always been my favourite, this ranks among the nicest I have ever had (66y old). I am only saddened that we live too far away to be able to visit again soon. Very highly recommended.

Ordered at 530 when they opened food csmr at 7pm. An hiyr and a half for a small order for a single person. Rice tub only half full again which is often an ussue, and a side dish of 4 aloo Bora came with only 3. Only restaurant that never sends any free poppadoms. Food itself nice and good quality. Sometimes their egg fried rice is awsome with loads of egg in it and nice big chunks at times but other times I struggle to find any egg at all. Onky half the tub of rice is full which is always disappointing.

We ate at Namaste and had the special offer 3 course option. The onion bhajis were outstanding, and veg tawa recommended to me was really excellent. Pity we don’t live near or I would be back.

Amazing food. Amazing staff. If you love Indian food and want to try something different and delicious I cannot recommend Namaste in Stourport on Severn highly enough. The food is 5 star and alongside some traditional favourites there are lots of delicious new choices. All the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s also bring your own booze so what’s not to love

We have visited this curry house for takeaways many times over the years and it’s always been a good experience. It’s always been ready for collection in the time specified when ordering, the food is always very tasty and a good price. This is our go to curry house when in the Stourport area. Definitely recommended.

If you’ve never been here you’re really missing out on a wonderful place to eat. The atmosphere is lovely with nice gentle music playing. The staff are so friendly but professional. We have been here several times and never had a bad meal. The food is awesome, plates are hot which I think is all important. I had a takeaway from there recently. I pre ordered the takeaway around 4:50pm as Google said it opened at 5. I received an email saying i would be contacted when my order was ready - as well as an order tracker with an estimated wait time of 50 minutes. By 6:50pm (2 hours later), i had still heard nothing to say my order was ready! I went in at this point to see what the issue was. I was told the chef was just packing up my order now. I asked why it had taken 2 hours for a takeaway?? I was told that they open at 5:30pm - i pointed out that is not what Google says. Even with opening at 5:30pm, an hour and a half for a takeaway is ludicrous. I waited a few more minutes still and it was brought out to me. I thought they might include a few extras as an apology but nope. As others have said, you get only what you pay for - no freebies or little extras like other places do. It was a shame as the food was delicious! I would eat in the restaurant there if i had a few spare hours but i cannot wait 2 hours for a takeaway! :(

Had a fantastic meal with friends whilst in the area touring. Food was excellent, menu was varied and the service was good and welcoming. Just remember to take your own alcoholic drinks as these are not served in the restaurant. Will definitely be back when next in the area

Today's the curry had a few peices of paneer in it and then nothing else so spoons ans spoons for sauce. Yet last weeks curry was less sauce and much better. Unlike other restaurants they Don't send free pioadoms. One week i ordered a dip ans a tiny dip came. Next week the dip came in a large contrainer . Very inconsistent. But food is very nice so thry let them self down really. Today only half a tub of rice instead of a full tub. Rolling my eyes.

Amazing night here! Came with a large party later on in the evening and we were accommodated no problem! Food was 5 star and service was attentive without being too much. Great value as well. Staff called us taxis and when only one showed up, a member of staff gave some of us a lift back to the hotel! Can't fault this place and will definitely be back if in the area again. Visiting nearby and stumbled across this excellent restaurant, great welcome by the staff and an extensive menu, plenty of options for my vegetarian wife and my favourite nagar lamb dish on the menu. Food arrived promptly and tasted great, really nice ambience and I am a big fan of Indian restaurants who play Indian music too. Met Mac the owner, him and his staff are obviously passionate about the food they service and experience they deliver, we live half an hour away and def will be back soon.

There are quite a few Indians in Stourport and I’ve been to moat of them. The most consistent and enjoyable one has to be Namaste. From entry to exit the staff are super polite and helpful making you fell most welcome and at ease. They are professional and well dressed. The food is top quality even though they serve a discounted meal deal sun-thurs (£9.99 for three courses). I had a lamb jalfrezi and was very impressed. Portion sizes are good, presented well and served hot. They even bring extra garnish with your mains (free). The restaurant is a bit on the small side with tables close together so it can feel cramped when full but it’s definitely worth it.

This place has brilliant food and brialliant service. They have 3 courses for £10 on a Tue Wed and Thursday and its an absolute bargain! We would happily go here on a Sat night and pay full price. Would recommend booking as there are not that many seats.

Thought I’d give this restaurant a second chance and book a table in advance and I’m very glad we did, head waiter loves a bit of banter, very proud of his food and rightly so, all other staff very attentive and helpful. I asked for a bespoke starter and it was exactly what I wanted, husband had the lamb pathia and I had the lamb madras both were outstanding and the lamb was very tender, will definitely be back

The food was up to it's usual standard but service tonight was slow and when I complained about the delay the attitude of the staff member was not helpful and curt to say the least.

We walked away from the High Street, down towards the canal basin to find this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted by very friendly staff who despite the restaurant being very busy, managed to find us a table. We ordered the Nameste Maharaja, Nawabi, rice, naan and paratha. Everything was delicious! Having tried a few Indian restaurants in Stourport, this was our favourite - in fact we enjoyed it so much we returned the next evening before returning home to Holland. As well as offering really tasty meals, the little extra things - laying out our napkins on laps, brushing the table at the end of the meal, hot towels and free coffee refills - bring complete satisfaction. Thanks team Nameste for such a great curry experience.

Visited on a Wednesday for the £9.95 for three courses, there's a very good menu, loads of choices, all the normal baltis plus lot's of house specials. The food was outstanding, and the service excellent, we had no room for the desserts so opted for the coffee, which was topped up free of charge. There is a small car park at the front of the restaurant, and limited on street parking in Lichfield street, and Mart lane, main car parks are about a ten minute walk. The restaurant is licensed so you can't take your own drinks in, but there's a good selection of beers and spirits, and prices were reasonable.

Great takeaway food and a lovely little restaraunt with friendly staff. The best Indian in the locality.

I decided to take my daughter for her first curry and chose Namaste based on the reviews on trip advisor. Was very impressed with both the quality of the food but also the polite and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend.

We have just had our 1st take away delivered and what a delight it was. The food was beautifully cooked, plenty of it and well prices. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked a table to eat in next time with some friends. Definately worth a go
