One of the best Pakistani restaurants in Ilford Lane! The food is delicious, and the service is outstanding. The staff is very friendly, especially Shehryar, who gave excellent service. I came by chance once, but now it’s my favorite spot!

Forget the new fangled chai-this and chai- that upstarts along Ilford Lane. Nagina is the place to come for your genuine Pakistani food fix and karak chai. Ordered the Lahori chicken karahi and butter naan, and a paratha for good measure. Naan came out fluffy and steaming, karahi perfectly spiced and delicious. Next time will go for lamb and garlic naan!

Visited 2 days ago had lamb karahi and haleem. Rubish food karahi was too oily and there was no meat only bones haleem was almost off bill was £37. Waste of money. We are sick since them stomach pain. Shame on you.

A Hidden Gem for Breakfast – Highly Recommend! My friend and I visited Nagina Restaurant for the first time for breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing the experience was. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by two brothers who were incredibly attentive, making sure everything was perfect during our visit. The service was impeccable, and the food exceeded all our expectations. Really nice person but the haleem was cold but the good thing is that he re heated it after i said it only once plus he gave us free jalebi to taste

Nice food was busy so took a while for us to be seated but we were 7 people. They were thoughtful and put an extra table so we weren't squished and added more seats.

Ordered my normal dish for lunch yesterday and it was terrible this place has really gone down. The rice was very oily and tasteless and the chicken had no meat, just bones and what looked like the neck of the chicken. Waste of money never again. Very disappointed as this place was always nice.

Best place for Pakistani desi food.

Not sure what's happened to this place, used to be good but it's really gone downhill. Food seemed like it was just microwaved, didn't taste fresh and was lukewarm. Food was full of oil The portion sizes were tiny too. Despite the renovation, the seating area is really crammed, with people standing around you waiting for a seat. Service was very rushed too. Plenty of better places on Ilford Lane, especially for breakfast that taste better and give bigger portions. The halwa was nice and the puris were good too.

Food is good and authentic Lahori but lacks the space and the interior is very basic. Similar to some restaurants in the old city of Lahore.

Got breakfast and disappointed. Food quality is not good. Chanay chickpeas had no taste at all, potato’s were not cooked and were hard. Nan was hard to chew and what else a total waste of money. I will never ever return to Nagina Ilford.

The lamb karahi was so yummy that I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person. It was tender and went well with the sauce and naan bread . Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing. Moreover the service was extra ordinary welcoming especially by sehryar that guy is too friendly towards his coustomers. ❤️❤️

One of the best restaurants in London if you’re craving for Pakistani food you should give them a visit. The Manager Shehryar is a lovely person and has excellent customer service.

I recently ordered a half kg meal from Nagina Restaurant and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From start to finish, it was an amazing experience that truly captured the essence Of traditional Pakistan flavors. The food arrived piping hot and fresh. The chicken karahi was perfectly cooked with tender meat and the right balance of spices. Each bite was full of rich, authentic flavors that immediately took me back to the streets of Lahore. The portion size for half kg was generous, making it great value for money.

Food was on point, and I felt like I was eating in lahore. 100% taste of lahore.

Really nice place.. Staff waiter (Bisab) is always really nice. Had pakistani breakfast large.. Portion is for 3 people not 2. Mango lassi was really nice too. Parking can be a pain sometimes.

We asked for half kilo Mutton Karahi to be made extra spicy. It arrived mild/bland. I asked for extra green chillies. I was given two separate bowls of green chillies. One was apparently ‘hot’ and the other one was ‘extra hot’. When I ate them, at most, they were ‘medium’. So, the chef is making your ‘extra spicy’ curries with these medium spice chillies. Maybe use some hot chilli powder? This is supposed to be a traditional Pakistani cuisine in Ilford with spicy foods and flavours, but they are making their food mild and watered down as if catering to white people in central London. Breakfast such as halwa puri meal is good and I have also tried their maash daal which is pretty decent.

I have been going here for years. They have the best halwa puri around. Also, the price is really good as well. But that’s not the main reason I go there. It’s because the food is really nice.I also love that fact it’s been decorated recently. Atif was great in giving good at the table. Also, Sherry was really friendly and we had a good chat with him. I also come here on my birthday. All locals know this place and it’s a must visit.

New renovated Nagina is up in price, low in quantity and low is taste. Seating is now good but quantity and taste have decreased. Halwa Puri now come with two table spoons of halwa and channa.

My family and I were coming to this restaurant for years, especially when the founder was around. Even after his passing, his son kept the quality of the food high. However, during my recent visit, we were extremely disappointed. It seems like the founder’s nephew, or possibly his son’s nephew, is now in charge, and the food quality has noticeably declined. We ordered the chicken karahi, but it was completely different, no longer flavourful, and instead of the large boneless chicken cubes we used to get, it was mostly small bones with barely any meat. It felt like a cost-cutting tactic, and it's really disappointing to see how far the quality has dropped. Additionally, the toilets were dirty, with many flies around, which added to the unpleasant experience.

One of the oldest and best Asian Restaurants in ilford lane, I’ve always enjoyed their food, they have recently renovated the whole place and staff is friendly as ever, definitely recommended.

Today, we went to nagina for breakfast and delighted to see the renovated restaurant with comfortable seating. Service was very good aswell. Food was good aswell. Overall very much satisfied.

Nagina has been renovated recently and they have more comfortable seating with plush sofa like seating. The food however is the same. Quite tasty and at reasonable prices. Very good for dine in experience unlike before when it was more suitable for take away. Puris were crispy. Channay and aloo tarkari (potato curry) were both tasty but not too spicy. Halwa was delicious 😋 Recommend for couples, families and friends.

They just had a renovation and it’s amazing you even have to wait outside for 20 minutes and that 20 minutes of waiting just gos away from eating the food it is worth to wait 20 mins for eating yum!!!

I tried there Halwa Puri Nasta and Nihari. It’s was literally the worst decision of my life to have breakfast here. Really disappointed with the food. The channa was too oily and no flavour. The Naan was moderate and Nihari. Would never eat here again.

They renovate Nagina Resturent. Now everything price is increase. Rubbish . They will charge more than good environment Resturent. Over charging is not acceptable. Not recommended

One of the best hotels in Illford lane to enjoy Pakistani cuisines, we had Halwa puri for nashta and it was a good experience. You should also try lassi; its better to buy a jug for 8 pounds than to buy glass for 4 pounds, you can make like 4-5 glasses from a jug. Thank me later and enjoy

Halwa Puri was adequate - good puris, but flavourless chana masala and halwa. Sweet lassi was tasteless and watery. Hard pass on this place.
