Nafees Take Away Food Shops in Manchester

Service is rubbish and options for food very limited. We went around 5.30pm and nothing suitable for a family to eat. The staff are rude and discourteous and a very bad experience. Ruined my afternoon.

Bought chanay puri and paranta d today on Eid morning. The food was disgusting. They don’t wash the Channas avd thriw them in from the tin. You can taste the awful taste. The parantas were from the night before. We spent £48 and all the food went in the bin.

I went here on 23/04/23 around 6pm and asked for samosa chaat 1 potato and 1 meat samosa the guy shouted to the next guy and said make it mixed samosa chaat what i received was vile and disgusting he put only 1 meat samosa in the box when it should of been 2 he smashed it with a spoon then he added random things to it mint yoghurt, chana, brown sauce, onions, white yoghurt and god knows what else??? Then charged me £5.00 for it he put the box in a nasty used sticky carrier bag..... once i got home i tried it, it tasted disgusting sweet and sour went straight in the bin not happy at all and want a refund.

Absolutely AVOID this place the food is under cooked and is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE & customer service is zero on the same road there are Cheeper and tasty food to eat. Me & the mrs went for breakfast 2 plane parataha 2 chany and 2 omelette costed £28 exactly shocking prices.

Definitely Avoid this place extremely Expensive and the food has no tast & the kharak Chai is full of sugar , please don’t wast your money here.

Please avoid the short maul I type guy who over charges. Yesterday was so busy and he overcharged me. Check always if he gives you the items you have ordered. Most guys serving are OK. I will be reporting them to the police today as this regularly happens.

Bought home a curry from this place . And it was tasteless and like water . This place is only good for sweet stuff no curry .. definitely will never go back there

Some kind of stick found in somasa. Disappointment.. Looks like tooth pick. It's not even onion it's kind of hard can't believe it...

I think price should be respnable. But it looks rate is higher in shop.because when shop is running more than you should decrease your margin.

Someone suggested i eat there and ordered chicken Karahi. It was so disgusting we felt sick looking at chicken thigh meat only. Ordered a samosa which was cold. The service is rubbish and their prices are so high for crap food.

It was amazing and I would love to go back there again and over all the food was amazing and will definitely go back there! $$$$$

Hands down the best biryani in Manchester. The also serve traditional breakfasts, a huge range of sweets and great Kadak chai. Very nice staff.

Food perfect staff couldn’t be more helpful and I woulobuy from any other shoo-in Stockport road staff are pleasant frites food tastes so nice I’ll be back again and again and the sweets ohhh perfect

I got breakfast for my family from Nafees Longsight today. The food was excellent quality! Nihari. Paya. Channa Daal. Perfect. Also the sweet Lasso and the Halws wad Amazing. My family loved all the food. The service was very fast and friendly. Ma sha Allah keep it up guys. Alhamdulillah.

I have been to Nafees in other locations and and the service as well as the products were of very good quality. So imagine my surprise when i walked into this place in Stockport Road and they offer sweets in takeaway containers without any labels. How would one know if the product contains nuts. I suppose expiry date is not of concern if they show no concerns for people with allergy. Anyhow, the prices were hand written with board markers like i was shopping in an open market. The quality of rasmalai was not to standards. I felt like i was drinking skimmed milk with sugar. Furthermore, i got to my in laws, and was embarassed to find that one of the containers leaked in my car boot.😡

Unhygienic food. Very small place. Staff is rude. No measures are taken for social distancing inside the shop. Too many staff member behind the counter.

Well anyway food is excellent and service was Arite. But the prices are ridiculous or either they over charge you. It’s not the first time either.

Buena comida y dulces en este lugar como siempre. El mayor problema que tengo con este lugar es que los precios no son claros y, dependiendo de a quién le pregunte, le darán un precio diferente. Tal vez depende del clima, ya que experimentamos en esta ocasión, ya que éramos unos pocos, así que entramos y había 3 personas a las que se les preguntó el precio y se les dieron precios diferentes y un miembro del personal dio un precio diferente por el mismo artículo para 2 personas diferentes, ¡todo en 5 minutos! ! ! Ve a resolver eso, la mente se aturde.De todos modos, la comida y los dulces son realmente agradables aquí y los recomendaría, pero solo entre si es lo suficientemente ruidoso y pregunta los precios primero antes de comprar y verifica tu cambio también, ya que vimos a una persona con poco cambio, pero después de leer algunas críticas, Parece ser un tema común.Obtener ganancias es bueno y bueno, pero el servicio y la reputación son más importantes para el éxito de un negocio como este. Was looking for a desi breakfast. Ordered channay with paratha and halwa. It was one of the best I have had and the staff were very polite. Will defo go again.

Over charged me, when asked for the prices just gave me random prices verbally. Proper cheats, over charging every customer, I believe, but customers do not realise.

The cooked breakfast here is very tasty. Highly recommended. Always very busy and popular. The methai is delicious and the jalebis are nice and crispy. When I go to Manchester. I always buy methaifrom here to bring home and sit down and have breakfast there.

Llegamos temprano para nuestra cita, así que decidimos ir a Manchester para el desayuno. Este lugar estaba abarrotado y tiene capacidad para solo 12 personas. La tienda no es muy grande.Teníamos la channa con paratha y Nehari con naan, con té y algo de gajarhalwa y Kheer.Channa estaba deliciosa y volvería por este plato. El nehari era promedio, pero entonces no soy un gran fan.Los dulces fueron decepcionantes.El servicio fue bueno y amable.

Food is great but one of the staff always overcharges. Not just me but others as well. It’s a shame but as long as you can do the maths you’ll be fine.

The guy really needs a course on customer service. so loud n rude. Overcharged bill. Ask for a tea n would be loaded with sugar. Hardly hears what customer is ordering. Asked to pack leftover n he put that into the bin and then started saying in just loud tone that he would pack a food for free. Never going again .

They have the best biryani in town. The other curries unfortunately are not good at all. They do a whole lot of other stuff but not tried it yet.

No price list got three items was busy later realized overcharged they don't give receipt no good and the person got attitude who served me.not going again

Give over priced bill. If ask they say oh bill is actually 20p less. Not going again. Its just a random bill.

Had proper desi breakfast at Nafees last weekend and it was delicious. I have to say Nihari and Paaye were amazing.

Tengo fuimos varias veces con mi familia. La comida siempre ha sido una clase y recién servida. El Haleem, Halwa Nihari, Puri, Naan y Paratha son altamente recomendables.

Hemos estado en este lugar varias veces para desayunar, Su Naan, Chanay, Paya, son buenas. Lassi también es buena. Yo le daría 5 estrellas de 4, pero 1 estrellas para Nashta para sentarse. No puedo entender que, a pesar de un buen negocio por qué no extender sus asientos y que sea cómoda para los clientes. Ahora no me atrevo a traer familia ahora como hay que sentarse e incluso cuando te dan los asientos son muy incómodos. Su atención al cliente es bastante malo también. Para llevar puede ser, está bien. Pero este tipo de desayuno es mejor comido

I been in this restaurant today morning. I ordered food, paid.. Waited 25 mins. when i reached home rhn found half of my order missing. Call thm but no answer.

Vine aquí con mi esposa, ya que vienen a menudo. Por desgracia, eso será nuestra última visita. El servicio de atención al cliente y la comida era horrible. . . . La comida dejó de estar enfermo, tanto enfermo y era incomible. Lejos de comida fresca. . . Y el servicio al cliente era horrible. Mi familia y yo pensamos en ir a desayunar. Podemos ver que no había suficientes asientos, así que esperamos. El personal eran conscientes de que estábamos esperando con niños pequeños. Después de 20 minutos podemos ver que la gente que vino después de nosotros estábamos sentados, esta izquierda muy disgustado. Yo acabé yendo a otro sitio para desayunar. Sugiero que si van a servir el desayuno, entonces asegúrese de tener suficientes asientos para sus clientes.

If you're looking for a place to have authentic Pakistani breakfast, this is the place to be. Their Halwa Puri is the best in Manchester. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

I ordered a cake for a friend's birthday and they were very prompt including everything that I asked for on the cake. It was ready when they said it would be and was exactly what I ordered. It was huge and tasted absolutely amazing and went down a treat with everyone at the party. Will definitely be ordering from them again and I highly recommend.

I had ordered a cake for my mum, I had purchased a chocolate cake won buttercream instead I got a vanilla sponge cake topped off with fresh cream all over! Quite disappointed will not order from here again.

Horrible experience I purchased the chick pea curry ( apparently famous for it ) and resulted in severe diarrhoea for whole family.I had doubts whilst eating it as the smell was not right however I the it thinking some ingredient is more than usual.Never go to this place Poor hygiene .......tasteless food!!!

Lovely breakfast on offer. The Chanay Poori was lovely so the Allo Paratha.However the halwa had more sugar than what it should be, lovely desi tea but again had more sugar than desired. Lovely food definitely recommended, comes in top bracket in the desi foods on offer in Manchester.However their sweets was one of worst I ever tasted, so don't buy their sweets however the other food items are recommended.

One of the best shops for Asian sweets , also do great snacks , samosa chaat, fresh cream cakes , great for giving your loved ones gifts on special occasions

I had halwa puri and chana.Although sitting area is very limited it wasn't a problem as I had gone alone. It's mainly geared towards takeaway market- the food was excellentVery fresh puris just the right size and not overly oily or heavyThe halwa was exactly how I like it- no artificial colours and not greasy The chana was nice a bit creamier than perhaps I am accustomed to but very niceWill definitely return

Been going here since I can remember - beautifully crafted sweets from a great family run business .They're always polite and warm - even during busy periods ! Great gulab chaman and nicest meat samosas bar none.Prefer it to the others around and in terms of service they are definitely the best most of us locals would say May Allah Grant you success and continue serving the community that tasty food

i love the range of sweets they have on offer especially the freshly made jalebi. Always use this for my mitais as its the best tasting for mles.

Visited with wife and kids, halwa puri was spot on amazing taste reminded of pakistani breakfast, the chana with halwa puri was really tasty, highly recommended

My husband and I went through a phase of going out every weekend for breakfast. We are our way through many but one if our personal favourites is and always will be nafees. Amazing halva poori chanay, and the nihari and paraatha - mouth watering.Lassi is always a bit disappointing because they don't have ice at the moment!!!! Also amazing fresh cream cake. I don't usually like cake from Asian restaurants.It is primarily a take away so the seating is limited and not the most extravagant. But to be honest I think it adds to the experience!! Feels like I'm sitting in Lahore!! LolAlso very hands to get quite bits and bobs if we have any guests coming over. Really good kebabs and samosas.

Shop is done up nicely and is clean, The sweets are also tasty and like the presentation of the boxes they come in and the bag.

After having been disappointed with the desserts on offer at the buffet in Sanam's, we crossed the road to Nafees. We have been recommended in the past to visit this place and although they have take away food their specialty is Indian sweets.The service was friendly we were offered things to try. We had some jalebi and burfi and both were of a good standard. The jalebi was very nice. Its really is worth popping in.
