Got a takeaway peppered beef and jungle curry! Watery and fiercely hot which killed your taste bubs, will not be back very disappointing

A fantastic little Thai restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is wonderful. Not a lot of places can equal the quality or the prices.

Great food, served by friendly staff and good value for money. Not the easiest place to find and access is via a flight of stairs as the restaurant is on the first floor. Would definitely go again.

First time and it was delicious. We had take away this time round but will definitely be going to the restaurant next time that’s for sure. Consistently the best Thai food in Morpeth. We order take out from Nadon twice a month and have never been let down... just watch out for a rogue bit of chilly if you're easily thrown by heat.

Food is fantastic and the staff are very helpful. No pressure to vacate table after eating.

Be careful as I found the one 🌶 sign to hot for me, I like a little heat but I would have marked my meal with at least two 🌶 🌶, over all a great experience 👍

Were looking forward to a celebratory meal. No nice greeting when we arrived. Sticky tables and dirty walls and shelf next to table. Place needs a complete revamp. Very disappointed. Food not great and service poor. Will not be back!

Visited with friends for a birthday we were celebrating on 27/04/24. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and we all left very happy. This is our go to place for Thai food.

Absolutely phenomenal. Picked up within 20 mins of ordering. Staff were lovely who greeted me, and my goodness the food…will be back to dine in for sure!

My partner and I had a lovely evening here. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated to our table straight away (despite being half an hour early!) We chose the Tom Yum Hot Pot and Tamarind Roast Duck with coconut rice and noodles. Both dishes were so flavoursome and delicious! I would recommend them both. The restaurant was nice and busy and had a great ambience. Thank you to all the friendly staff - we had a fabulous time.

NOT VEGAN, staff were lovely but unfortunately chicken powder is added to everything so not suitable for vegans or vegetarians

Wonderful authentic food. Kind service

After hearing such good things from friends and family we decided to visit on a Saturday evening. Restaurant was half full and service was prompt. Starters came and were ok, but not to the standard I have had in other Thai venues. Mains were dreadful a black pepper beef in a watery sauce that seemed to be the same as the over baring sauce that came on the side of mixed vegetables, and I had a duck dish where the duck must simply have been deep fried it was inedible. Swiftly got up paid the bill and left. Would not return for sub standard non authentic Asian food.

Food was stunning, everything delicious and great portion sizes. Service was great and very friendly even though restaurant was full. Would highly recommend!

WoW . . Amazing Thai restaurant in Morpeth. The food is cooked to perfection, delicious and well priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is situated on the first floor, with a flight of stairs being the only access.

Bad customer service. Called to book table and as it was 10 minutes before closing time they still turned us away. Disappointing.

I don't know what happened to this restaurant. The food used to be great. Great flavour and great prices. It used to be our go to takeaway and we loved to be able to support a local business. The last three meals have been very disappointing. One was in the restaurant and other two were takeaways. Bland, tasteless good. tonight's dinner went into the bin. It's a real shame

Nadon Thai is one of those restaurants I've been meaning to visit for a few years now and now I have I'm somewhat underwhelmed. The decor which looks great on photographs is decidedly dated and somewhat tacky (needs a good dose of TLC) although the front of house staff are pleasant and efficient. My biggest dissappointment though was the food. To start I had the barbequed pork which was fatty and tough and the garnish lack lustre. This was followed by Beef Penang Curry being served with a "thin soup" like consistency when in all other Thai restarants I've visited it is served almost dry with only a small amount of rich, thick sauce, and the beef was tough. The jasmine rice however was nice. Price wise it wasnt expensive and much on par with other Thai restaurants but for the poor quality of the food it did not represent good value.

Loved visiting Nadon Thai. The food was great, and so many options! I'll definitely need to return. The staff were really friendly and genuinely seemed to want you to have a good experience.

Nice restaurant, flavours are really good. However the beef used is not good quality and spoilt the whole dish.

The overall experience was underwhelming. I have attended the restaurant with my partner and his family for dinner and unfortunately it is not a restaurant that we will be returning to. The restaurant itself has a pleasant ambiance, their menu is varied, some dishes better than others as everyone on our table ordered something different and it did range from not very tasty to delicious. All of the dishes had small portions for the price that you pay, when the food was delivered the disappointment over the size of the meal was quite noticeable from everyone at the table. You do need to pay for the rice separately to the meal itself which is of course another expense. The service we have received was simply alright, although my partner's mother did feel like there was some misunderstanding when ordering. When it came to booking the table, the staff was very accommodating which was quite nice.

Outstanding Thai food! Can strongly recommend the Red Curry dish. Flavorful, spicy, tasty - perfect for a cold day. So far, best meal I've had in Morpeth in 10 days. I ordered this next time, the Thai Basil Stir Fry. Again, the performance was great. Nice flavours , SPICY , and lots of veggies . All for a very affordable price.

Visiting Morpeth to see family and it was our anniversary. We visited Thailand in June 2022 and love the culture and cuisine so chose to eat here. We were not disappointed, it’s was DELICIOUS!! Flavours were beautiful, dish sizes were great and very fresh ingredients. Really did have a lovely meal. We would visit again 100% and recommend to anyone. Only two notifications for improvement on customer services: waiter was chewing gum when we arrived and both waiters didn’t really speak much or engaged in conversation.

Difficult to find, but once found, never forgotten, authentic delicious Thai food.

We called in after making a last minute decision to eat out and luckily there was a late cancellation for an hour later - so I’d highly recommend you pre-book where possible, as it is really popular. The atmosphere was lovely and nice ambience, with lovely decor, plants and low lighting. The toilets are nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu. Lots of options…we each choose a starter and a curry with rice from the main menu - and it was really filling. The food was delicious and we would definitely return.

Really enjoyed our visit to Nadon Thai in Morpeth. Food and service was good and the food very filling. The food could’ve been more flavourful, though, but overall it was good.

We visited on a Monday early evening so it was quiet. Just caught the happy hour 5.30-6.30 so went for that menu. Tempura vegetables and sweetcorn cakes both delicious. Main courses pad Thai king prawn with noodles, red Thai curry with chicken. Again delicious. All in all it was very enjoyable.

We have been using Nadon Thai Morpeth for many years since opening. Had takeaway at the weekend and it was not up to the usual standard. The sweet chilli sauce for the Thai Fishcakes was missing. The salad with the sides had been put into the bottom of the tray and was literally an inedible soggy mush. The yellow curry had only one tomato. It used to include small potatoes, but not now. The portions are significantly smaller - I can understand the cost of living has had to mean businesses have had to rethink things but here the price has increased at the same time as the portions have reduced. Please don’t be complacent Nadon Thai. The Morpeth population will continue to support you as a good restaurant but please don’t let your standards continue to drop.

Takeaway has gone down hill. The last few meals we have bought as takeaway have been well below the previous standard . Tonight there was no sweet chilli sauce with the fish cakes . The lettuce that the fish cakes were laid upon was brown . The fish cakes were slightly burnt and the yellow curry had one tomato and no potatoes in it . What has happened ? Not cheap and really sad it had deteriorated as always loved this place

Last minute visit on a Tuesday evening I went with my parents and we had a beautiful dinner. Mix of the dinner 2 course deal and a couple of additions. The food and service were fabulous and I will be back.

Me and my partner came to Nadon Thai after receiving many recommendations from friends. We were welcomed by a lovely lady at the bar who served us with a smile and found us a seat. We chose to order starters and a main each. For starters we shared Vegetable Tempura, Vegetable spring rolls and Siam Chicken wings, all of which were served with the most gorgeous sweet chilli sauce I've ever tasted (which I was saddened to learn is homemade on site, so I couldn't buy some to bring home). Each of these dishes were beautifully presented and tasted devine. For mains I ordered the Thai Red Curry with Coconut Rice and my partner ordered the Classic Pad Thai Noodles. The Thai red curry was the most delicious meal I've ever had, I can't even put into words how much I loved this dish. I can't speak for the Classic Pad Thai Noodles as my partner inhaled these swiftly but claimed they too were delicious. Overall 10/10 experience, beautiful food and excellent service. We will most definitely be coming back very soon!

A very quick review to say this is hands down one of the best places for Thai food in the North East. Try it; I’m sure you’ll love it too!

Having visited The Nadon several years ago and found it to be authentic in all aspects with good food and prices we revisited recently. Unfortunately it is neither good nor bad just ordinary which made it expensive. The interior is looking tired and worn at the edges with very little atmosphere, the service was polite and friendly throughout with the servers well presented in traditional Thai dress which was a nice touch. Our food was served hot and fresh but unfortunately bland and no better than a standard Chinese takeaway would supply so that was very disappointing. This could not be put down to the restaurant being busy as we ate at 6pm with only 3 tables occupied. For the price (£60+) not a place we will revisit.

Overcharged me £9 at the Morpeth restaurant. I politely explained this but they refused to correct this. I will not return. Check your bill very carefully and do not be embarrassed to question the bill.

Love this Thai. I spend an embarrassing amount of time thinking about the tamarind duck, but everything is very tasty and I've been reliably informed it is pretty authentic too.

Dropped in to pick up a take away. We hadn't preordered but as we were early they did our meal while we waited.( about 15mins) Had beef Penang (quite good) and chicken yellow curry (amazing) good sized portions. Not sure I'd bother paying the extra for sticky rice again the Jasmine rice was nicer.

Amazing food, best red Thai curry I think I've ever had, including in Thailand. Pad Thai was also amazing. Mixed appetisers also brilliant. Don't be put off by the fact that it's upstairs! Setting is well presented and well cared for. Judging a food place by the toilets is always a good idea- these were spotless. We went on an issue Tuesday night whilst on holiday in the area, and it was quite busy even at 6pm. It lost a star as the service didn't hit the spot- slow at every point and we had a few problems getting the actual dishes we ordered. However the did is so good that I wouldn't let the service put you off- just about every food business I know is struggling for staff at the moment!

Only ever ordered take out from here but it's always been delicious. Great portion sizes and every dish is comprised of premium ingredients. The restaurant does look very comfortable and the staff are more than friendly and attentive. I wholeheartedly recommend to all and sundry!
