Quite a disappointing visit really. Starters of chinese dumplings with some great sauce were good. Main courses of duck in tamarind was basically just duck in a sweet sauce. No flavour of tamarind. Duck in honey was apparently similar.

Had a lovely meal here. Food was excellent, very tasty, quick service. Was a little on the expensive side, but overall excellent. Highly recommended!

Golden Pearl

31/12/2018: You really can’t fault the food or the service in here, both very good, no airs or graces & nothing special decor wise, the prices are great at £6.95 per large meal, it also doubles up as an Asian food store, so if you’re looking for a special ingredient, you’ll probably find it here, never had a bad meal yet & visit at least once every 2 months.
02/02/2019: Although Durham is probably the place now with the most Thai restaurants per square mile in the UK, there is always room for quality. The restaurant is actually a dining area inside a Thai supermarket, but the food is as authentic as it gets and the kitchen staff are all Thai. We've had both sit-in and takeaway meals and never been disappointed. The atmosphere is not for a romantic Valentine's dinner, but who cares! Portions are very generous and the prices very moderate, with some very good lunch specials.

Ozone Restaurant

08/03/2019: We arrived and were quickly taken to our table in a comfortable corner.
10/03/2019: Dined off the two course main menu as part of the twilight spa package.
