Started coming here monthly since Pancake Day 2023 and it has never let us down. I love their Smoked Salmon and Mushroom Pancakes!

The food was fresh and tasty - not greasy at all and the flavours were excellent. It's just a shame that you don't offer hollandaise sauce to go with the pancakes.

Food was lovely and served really quickly. Clearly high quality ingredients used. Staff weren't very friendly or nice.

We arrived early, seated promptly and served equally fast. The portions are generous and I had to leave some of mine. I was very impressed for a café-type restaurant.

I used to love My Old Dutch about 35 years ago. I did not realise it was still around until recently, so went to see how it had evolved. Truthfully, I don't know how different it was from all that time ago- my memory isn't that good! But what I did quickly realise is that the value for money, the tastiness and enjoyment factor of the food is every bit as good as I remembered! well done My Old Dutch, keep it up.

Food was quick and really good! Staff were lovely! The interior was really cool! I recommend for family/friends or even alone.

We came for lunch and found a welcoming, clean and well staffed restaurant. We all (2x 10 year olds, & 2x parents!) enjoyed our meals and would definitely come back.

I didn't feel that the pancakes were made with care mine was burnt, staff feels busy and not give much attention to us.

We were visiting London and went here for breakfast. The decor and ambience are phenomenal, and the food is great as well! It was pretty quiet when we went since it was a weekday morning, so the service was quick. Would definitely recommend!

Very good breakfasts for the whole family. Lots of choice with sweet and savory offerings. Service was good and the food was excellent. The crispy chicken pancake was an especial favorite.

All great- small point- the waiting area was of some concern to me as it was a bit blocked in with a low table with an almighty vase of flowers which nearly fell on me as it took so much space, the passing waiter/manager knocked into it! Health and safety

The staff was very nice and effective. The food was really good, but there was quite a lot of noise caused by the costumers and no ambience music

My little boy chose this place for his 7th birthday. Booked a table from selected available times only to turn up and be told they were closing soon and made to feel Unwelcome. Food was horrible and expensive. Desert pancakes looked nice but didn’t have time for those but savoury was horrible. My little boy was then violently sick the next morning. Total waste of money.

The Old Dutch savoury pancakes are absolutely delicious. All of them, but I mean these ones, wow!

Omg- I can’t stop thinking of these pancakes - we went there on Saturday and pre booked, everything was lovely- the pancake was huge but I still managed two. The staff were lovely- as were the pancakes and decor. Would definitely go back x

On arrival the server didn't seem to know about our booking. We were seated on a huge table for our party, but ok. The server took ages to take our order, and it wasn't easy to order as he didn't seem to understand us well. Food was ok. Nacho cheese was cold and so much it was difficult to find a nacho. On paying the bill we were called back as they had undercharged us and asked for a second payment. It was all a bit underwhelming!

They took payment from two cards, pretending one did not go through. It had. Paid twice and then had to chase it with my credit card company (who agreed with me). Sadly the police don’t look into such minor commercial fraud issues.

I love their pancakes and i got 2 of the regular sized ones, although the rest of my family got one and seemed fine. I like to get a savoury ham and cheese one and then I got one with fruits. The atmosphere inside is nice too.

The food was ok nothing special but the service was non existent. I had to as to make an order The waiter went for a smoke break and smoked out the cafe! He at no point asked if we wanted more coffee or cleared the plates (which are cheap plastic ) until asked to clear When I paid the bill I removed the service charge and the waitron Lucky had ti audacity to ask why I was removing the tip! I explained and then he still didn’t even apologise for his terrible service ! Give this place a miss if you are in the neighbourhood

Good selection especially glad they had gluten free bases and vegan choices. Sweet pancake was delicious. Service was pretty bad though sadly. No smiles, no conversation, no welcome.

We've been to My Old Dutch many a time and it never disappoints. Beautiful savoury pancakes, hot and fresh and almost instantaneous. Friendly staff, great service. I scored down to 4 on a couple, toppings seemed a bit "thinner" than before for a £15 pancake but knowing how much their bills are probably going up right now, it is totally acceptable. Very happy to see them open and busy after the last few years. Will return again (and again).

I had booked a table which was ready for us when we arrived. Staff was nice and not too invasive. Food arrived very fast. Pretty generous filling and good taste. Everyone was happy with their choices. Nice place nicely decorated and nice atmosphere. The one thing that really annoyed me was the constant noise of plates and glasses being piled together as they were being watched over the bar next to us. As well as the heavy noise of the coffee machine... otherwise was OK. Ah! Also I mentioned I was coeliac when I made my order and they only said that ham had gluten containing ingredients once arrived on the plate...Thankfully was not in my order but they should have confirmed this beforehand...

The toilets were disgusting. The waitress was really poor- no greeting, really slow service, service whilst at the restaurant was non-existent. Male waiter was slightly better but to add a service charge to the bill with poor service is insulting!

Service wasn't the best forgot sides. Manager apologised and removed 20% and service charge. Pankcakes were absolutely delicious

A family of 5 and greeted warmly at the door.i had a reservation but it wasnt busy at our time of visit...We got the four cheese savoury pancake & strawberry blueberry maple pancake both came fast &hot... Coffee was good too ...we all enjoyed

We had a fabulous time at My Old Dutch! From sweet to savory and many beverage choices - coffees, smoothies etc… Our family highly recommends taking in a meal at My Old Dutch.

Service wasn't great, took a long time for someone to take our orders and then a long time for someone to clear our plates etc. When the food came it was just ok, my pancake was somewhat undercooked and flavourless and I didn't manage to finish it because it wasn't amazing. Not something to rave about unfortunately!

Very underwhelming. Have eaten at the Holborn branch many times, but not for a while. Waiter that served us was completely disinterested. Had to be asked twice for water. Not great value. Tables so close together we had to squeeze past other diners, taking care not to bump into them. Won’t be going back

Booked for 5.30. As soon as we walked in we were told kitchen closes soon. Not mentioned when booked. We were not asked if we wanted a drink and had to request this. Felt like they all just wanted to go home. It’s a shame as the restaurant is nice and the food is lovely.

It was fun. Amazing pancakes. Met old friends after more than 10 years and we were giving each other a greeting in the corridor (under 1 minute) and the waiter got impatient and verbally pushed us away. He was nice later. The toilets were utterly dirty and disgusting. Please clean them.

Lovely place. Really nice atmosphere. Food could have been hotter though and their internet booking service is whack! They let me book a table at 5.30 even though the kitchen shuts at 5.30. Luckily they called and let me know but they need to sort that out because its real unhelpful, especially if you plan a busy day around it.

Lovely little restaurant, the initial server we had was very accommodating as we had a buggy and sat us in a place where we could put it out of the way. Service was a little slow as it took 20 mins for someone to take our drinks orders, but when we did order drinks and food came out quickly and were really lovely! Perfect to as this was the only place that serve genuine Dutch stroop. Would definitely come again and recommend! Thank you my old Dutch!

In going to the Kensington branch, I have now been to all three chains of My Old Dutch and delighted with all of them. The ambience is always nice but the food is what always draws me back. Absolutely delicious giant pancakes

I haven't been here since COVID, but it's just as wonderful as ever. The food was delicious and the décor was very inviting. Only issue was the sound of the milkshakes being blended disrupted conversation, but we were seated right in the back next to the kitchen so it might not be so bad at other areas in the restaurant.

Staff were all so incredibly miserable -when greeting you, taking your order and didn’t bother to say bye as you left. Rubbish atmosphere

I’ve said this before and I’m sad to have to say it again. This branch is so unwelcoming and unfriendly. The guys working in the store are miserable and rude. No interaction skills at all. Couldn’t even bring themselves to say hello or crack a smile. I’ve been going to the other branch’s for the last three years since I attended Kensington and had a bad experience a couple of years ago so disappointed to see nothing has changed. Go visit Holborn and Chelsea yourself and please take note of how to greet people and how to serve them. The food itself was ok… your four cheese is lacking cheese though - again, other branches can do this properly

Good service. I recall going to this chain several times many years ago and the portion size was great so that it was barely possible to finish a main course pancake. This time I had a cheese and ham make your own pancake that consisted of a VERY thin pancake with one slice of ham chopped in 4 and a light sprinkling of cheese. Each of us had a similar experience with our pancakes. We then had a dessert pancake each. 2 out of 3 of us had a soft drink (the other tap water) and the bill came to around £76. Felt like a rip off and very disappointing so won’t be returning.

I really didn't enjoy myself. I have been to My Old Dutch in Holborn for dates several times and had fun, enjoying all the different pancake toppings. But that was pre-pandemic, so I have to assume that business isn't great and they have switched to cheaper ingredients because the prices were the same but the flavour was non-existent. Forget the slow/absent staff (despite the fact it was fairly empty, we had to call them over to order, to pay etc.), the food is the reason I won't be back...

I'm not one to leave a bad review but given the amazing experience we've had multiple times at the Chelsea My Old Dutch branch in comparison, I feel obliged to. Decided to break routine and visit the Kensington My Old Dutch (won't be making that mistake again) and upon entering, we were abruptly approached by one of the waitresses; the waitress who would unfortunately be the sole reason for us leaving immediately within the next 10 minutes. I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say that we weren't even sitting for two minutes before the waitress in question asked us what we wanted and was visibly frustrated that we weren't ready to order. It was 10.10am, they had just opened and it was quiet FYI. We felt rushed and so asked if we could just start with drinks. The waitress quickly explained that it was busy (it wasn't) and that she wouldn't take our order unless it was food AND drinks. She walked away and then returned less than a minute later, gave us a quick look and said, "You're still not ready to order?!" She loudly and visibly sighed before storming away. I'm not entirely sure what anyone else's reaction would've been at this point but we thought, "Nope." We politely cancelled the drinks which another much nicer waiter allowed us to order, asked for the waitress's name and left. Their name was Janna or Yanna (apologies, I'm not sure of the proper spelling) and sadly because of this person we left before eating some pancakes which I'm sure would've been amazing. I'm not one to tell people what to do, so I guess you should take from this review what you will. Okay bye.

An amazing place to eat, service was good but we did have to ask to order and to get the bill after waiting a little while which was a little disappointing especially since the place was quiet but still good quality food and value for money.

This place is amazing and I always go back there however yesterday not sure what happened but the staff (especially two women) looked like they didn’t want to be there, sad faces and one of them stood right behind my chair for the whole time I was in there like there was no other place to stand. I understand they were not too busy but I needed some privacy with my friend. Maybe it was just one of those days for them.

Really wasn’t great. Service was slow. And they forgot to bring kids menus despite having two high chairs at the table. Pancakes were average. And the chips were so salty we almost couldn’t eat them. Won’t be going back.
