My favourite food in Camberwell EASILY, and Camberwell has some great restaurants. All of the fillings are home made and so fresh, I probably get one aubergine and halloumi wrap a week, my housemate usually gets the chicken wrap and will never get sick of it, it’s DELICIOUS. And ridiculous value at around £5. The home made spicy potatoes are so tasty, it’s always a debate whether to get those or the chips, I don’t know how they make them taste as good as they do. The home made lemon drink also slaps. The guys that work there are also great. I could go on, I am so passionate about how great My Falafel is it’s an absolute Camberwell treasure.

I’ve come here twice now and both times the food has been great. I always get shawarma with rice , the meat has a good flavour. The samosas and chips are good too. Good portion sizes too.

The chicken and Halloumi is amazing had it so many times before I use to just go for the chicken wrap and the servers are very friendly and can customise your order

Missed out a full meal from my order. When I called them they said I could pick up a replacement……sure I’ll get 2 buses there and 2 buses back for food which you should have delivered. In the end had to get Just Eat to refund it.

Edit: after moving away from London I came back after several years and ate here yesterday. It remains really excellent and good value for money. Been going for years with the family back when it was called Cafe Noir to its newly branded My FALAFEL. It has always been excellent. In terms of value for money in the neighbourhood you can't beat it. Service is v good. Good flavours. Had a halloumi and aubergine wrap this week. I eat a lot of take away and for the price it's the best thing I've eaten.

Cheapest and best wrap for the price in London

I had heard a lot of great things about this shawarma spot, so I decided to give it a try last night. Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite live up to the hype. While the pricing is fair, I found the shawarma wrap to be lacking in flavor. The meat tasted bland, and even the sauces didn’t do much to enhance the overall taste. I was hoping for something more memorable and flavourful because of all the positive reviews. I understand everyone has different tastes, but this just didn’t hit the mark for me, it was giving bad gentrified shawarma.

Excellent service from Emad who served me today. Food was superb. Great experience overall. Will definitely return.

Not Amazing but Honest and well priced my falafel/halloumi wrap was a bit soggy and the batata harra a bit tired in look and taste the veggie plate with rice ,hummus,salad,samosa,falafel was good value

What more is there to say? I've been coming here for almost 3 years and I love every single item on the menu, and not only is it cooked to perfection every time, the taste and quality is always consistent no matter time of day or if you collect or deliver. The portions are very ample and filling and the price has stayed mostly consistent over the years too (maybe 50p increase on wraps in 3yrs which is impressive). Staff are very friendly and place is clean and well air conditioned. I often see a line coming out of a nearby falafel wrap place, but this is my favourite in what me and my friends call the "Camberwell Shawarma Debate". Give it a try if you haven't already, it's good value and good quality!

This is what I bit into as a vegan eating their falafel which I ordered as a takeaway. Was told it might even be a bone?! It better be a tooth pick! Dont know how this is 4.8 stars - taste was off since the beginning had a soury and spicy taste like something was expired but to bite through a sharp toothpick or bone!? Christ 👎

Clean, decorative, pleasant and comfortable place to sit and eat food. Bench seat layout to relax and slow your day down. Customer service guy fast in speech and serving so I had to ask him to slow down his auto pilot mode. Chicken shawarma with rice tastes home cooked as the chicken is not dry but juicy succulent and crisp on the outside to give it a bbq effect. Decent size portions of salads, and other servings. Cutlery is Morrison theme and feels like street food in Morocco. I have not been to Morocco. Was passing through due to work parked on a road without permit was scared of getting a ticket but forgot I came in car as the place has a relaxed theme to it. The aroma of food being cooked at the back has a homely theme to it. Arabic speaking individuals relaxed in their own environment without the fake phony English customer service. Will visit gain. InshAllah.

The best falafel wrap in Camberwell! Not many people know of this joint as its neighbour Falafel&Shawarma is much more famous and always has a huge queue. But this falafel is a lot greener and less greasy, and the wrap ingredients compliment each other to perfection. I would recommend asking for more hummus when they’re building your wrap because, like all wrap places, they never put enough!

The food is delicious. And the staff are very friendly. The price is inexpensive considering the portion. Will come again next time!

Best chicken Shawarma in town with the best price

Since my first review of the food at My Felafel Camberwell, they’ve improved. They read the notes and worked with my dietary needs rather than send what they want to. This has improved my experience. The Halloumi Mezze, without rice or raw onions was delicious. I enjoyed the carrot juice immensely and the free strawberry and mint lemonade was very refreshing.
