A very pleasant establishment, comfortable and very clean both in the eating area and the toilets. The menu is extensive and competitively priced. The food is freshly cooked and promptly served. The staff are pleasant, well-mannered, and helpful. A good indication of how good Munch and Slurp is, they're always busy

Aboustley disgusting customer service. Can’t understand what any of them are saying as they aren’t English and can’t talk English Hiring only young girls aswell no males so he can pay minimum wage Toilets are disgusting dirty and all the floors They have no food hygiene They smoke upstairs in the cafe The tables are as sticky as anything All food is consumed together down to raw food and your veg you can see over the counter how they do it it’s all microwave meals not freshly made Prices are ridiculous for microwave food The boss leaves it down for the workers to sort he hides away

First time visiting, breakfast was basic and small portion, overpriced and black pudding nasty,3 hrs later food poisoning 3 days being ill, please avoid won't use again. Thanks munch and slurp.

Went to place my order at the till ,told I could get water from the fridge which I did and was just on my way back to the seat when a staff raised her voice on me saying we do pay here before been served.I felt totally embarrassed and responded that this is my first time here. I later went back to the till to express my concern,no apology rendered by staff .I will not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience of poor customer service.I paid £17 and left without having my meal order or a refund that was how bad the incident made me feel.

I thought the breakfast was nice, good quality food, it's nice to have a proper cafe in stafford again, so many have closed down. If you want anything posher go somewhere like verso or the swan, you get what you pay for.

Traditional English cafe with a good menu & friendly service. Came in for a morning-after breakfast. Salmon Royale was great - the eggs were perfect.

Looked all around Stafford and saw the pictures in the window, looked at the menu and thought this looked ok. The hot chocolate was great but the food is nothing like it advertises. Ham, egg chips you would think is a can’t fail! Dried up chips and 6 slices of wafer thin ham! Pretty awful! The very pleasant waitress asked if I was enjoying. I explained my disappointment and she said I’ll go and tell the manager and by his reaction he obviously didn’t care.
