Horrible customer experience, dont know about the food because it never ended up being delivered..I am not sure if its because I sound East European (white) or i dont know if it happened to anyone because because I see good reviews and thats exactly why i wanted to buy from here. Story time: I called this lady Monica last week, to ask about ordering and stuff. I called before 12 and she responded and said that I can do an order after 12 as they are closed.. I have called her again 2 times and no response, I decided to order it online anyways, order worth of 60 something pounds as it was supposed to be for my boyfriend’s birthday. My order got cancelled , tried to call several times and no response for like an hour-1.5 hrs. After that I tried calling again as I really, really wanted the order! She repokded and she said I can order, I said I did and my order got cancelled and she never answered my calls. Asked if some of the food isnt in the menu, she said no, they all are . I asked if I can place the order and everything as I really need it, and previously got cancelled, plus she never replied to me. She said yes, yes and close the phone. I try placing a2nd time the order, the card wasnt accepted anymore because they already got 60 pounds and need to return them back into my account within 5 working days and for some reason that didnt work. I ordered from a 2nd card, ordered went through, got sent and accepted AGAIN and then again they cancelled it. I tried calling this Monica again for hoursss, left her voicemail and stuff and absolutely no reply from her. If she didnt wanted me to order or didnt had some of the food, she should of told me. My boyfriend is Ivorian and he always kept saying that African restaurants are usually not welcoming to white people or other cultures, dont put effort into it, thats why when we go and eat at this places there isnt any. Now i dont judge all as one, but if thats the case; guys… bussiness is bussiness, i dont understand why some people dont like money. If you cant deliver, please just be honest or at least please answer me so i know. I was really excited to order from this place and try all sorts of foods, but yeah.. unfortunately unable to do so. Was really angry as this has been planned for a while… now, I ll never order from here. Thanks for never calling back and kept cancelling my orders.

Ordered banku and okra soup to take away for my mum, she was very sceptical that you could find good Ghanaian food near our area. But she was very impressed, said it was delicious and it had a good variety of meat and seafood, we'll be back.

Went to the Ghanaian takeaway for the first time. I took Jollof rice with chicken. The portion was good and the food was spicy. As a South Asian, it goes with our taste. The ambience was vibrant. Enjoyed the time.
