Mumbaiwala Lounge & Bar Harrow in Harrow

We did celebrate our son’s birth day party. We must say that, it is one of the best party lounge in Harrow, food was awesome, everything was fresh and service was too good. We are absolutely satisfied. Thank you Aman paji and all members. We enjoyed a lot.

Last night, we were at Mumbaiwala to celebrate my niece's birthday. The venue is brilliant. We had a small banquet booked which was very cosy. Food was great as well. Fritters were scrumptious. Naans were soft and warm when served. The owners and staff are very friendly too. I did not try anything from the bar, but it looked great. It has TV as well and sports and different shows are on so we had a great time.

Great Indian restaurant with plenty of seating places in Harrow. Specious, which is very rare in London, as in many restaurants seating are very congested. They have unique bar setup and venue provides hall hire with food for private party. Staff and owner are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Great food. For reasonable costs. We always get big portions when we're here amd they have nice music on the weekends. Sure we will return soon.:)

Amazing service. First time I came here, the owners treated me and my bf so well. Well respected and to standards. I loved every bit of it. Food and drinks and the music is so gooooood. I came first time on Diwali and since then I’ve come two more times. They are the best in customer service. They look after you to the max. Always will be here now. Oh, where to even begin with the preposterous disaster that is Mumbai Wala? Let me tell you, darlings, if you fancy wasting an entire evening languishing in a poorly-lit, overcrowded room while waitstaff scurry about aimlessly like startled pigeons, then by all means, this is the place for you. We had reservations – oh, yes, darling, we planned well in advance – but evidently, at Mumbai Wala, reservations are a mere suggestion. We waited an absurd 40 minutes before even being shown to our table! And when we finally did sit down, well, we might as well have disappeared. Not a hint of service for ages; it was as if the staff had just decided to take the night off, leaving us all to fend for ourselves. When the food eventually arrived after two long and unventful hours , after what felt like an entire lifetime, it was nothing short of appalling. The naan was practically raw, cold, and, quite frankly, an insult to baked bread everywhere. And don’t get me started on the so-called” paneer “ , one would be hard-pressed to believe it! The food was dry, stringy like the waiting staff, and appeared to have been cooked at some point in the distant past before being mercilessly reheated for our unfortunate meal. Spices were lacking, flavours were muddled, and the entire experience left us wondering if the chef had lost both their recipe book and their sense of taste. Finally, as if the food and service weren’t enough of an ordeal, the waitstaff were astonishingly rude and dismissive. I politely – oh yes, politely, mind you – requested the manager, and they looked at me as though I’d asked him to perform a circus act! No apologies, no attempts to rectify the situation – just blank, soulless stares as if we were the ones in the wrong! I would sooner dine at a petrol station and beg on the streets than return to Mumbai Wala, and frankly, I wouldn’t wish this experience upon even my worst enemy. Avoid this establishment at all costs, my dear friends; your taste buds and your sanity deserve far better Simply put, Mumbai Wala is a culinary disaster of the highest order. The service drags on as if they’re in a competition for “World’s Slowest Staff,” and when the food finally arrives, it’s an insult to Indian cuisine. The paneer tikka is a rubbery, tasteless lump that looks and tastes like it barely survived the freezer aisle. The staff are as warm and welcoming as a cold shower, and the atmosphere is pure chaos – I’ve had more pleasant experiences in traffic jams. Do yourself a favour: skip Mumbai Wala and go anywhere else. You’ll thank me later.

Absolutely ridiculous place, don't actually have what is on the menu and try to make way around. Don't make what is agreed with the waiter. Worst experience ever in a restaurant.

We went there midweek for a lunch, tried a Chicken Biryani and Indochinese noodle which was very tasty and with ample portion size. The place got attractive ambience and staff were super friendly. Will definitely go there again.

Amazing place . We did our kids first birthday there . The atmosphere was amazing . The food was great . Must try the hara bhara kebab. They had live music which was great . Thankyou aman and team .

Great food and very friendly service at a reasonable price.

Service was ok but slow. Food was tasty buy small portions. Above all, food was very expensive. I did not see the price of naan, etc before ordering, not worth going there as you can get all that in half the price at many places.

The food here is incredibly authentic. They suggested we try the Chef's special Hyderabadi Paneer Masala, and it was exceptional! We also ordered the chili garlic naans, which were fresh and delicious. The service deserves a 5-star rating. Their staff is very polite. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely be recommending it to everyone.

Best indo-chinese and North Indian restaurant in harrow. Try schezwan fries, crispy corn and even the Manchurian is amazing. Tandoori chicken wings were a treat and so was Hyderabadi paneer. It's very good authentic Indian taste, and I'm from Delhi so trust me. 11/10 highly recommended

I came from canada and this is the only indian restaurant where I enjoyed the food. Must try Items chicken sizzler and kurkuri bhindi . Service was awesome. Thank you guys, Aman was the awesome guy over there.

Last night, I went for dinner at Mumbai Wala and had an amazing experience. The highlight of my visit was meeting Aman paji , who previously ran Punjab Junction. I used to be a big fan of the food there, and was quite sad when it shut down. I really missed that taste, but luckily, Aman paji has now opened Mumbai Wala, and it's even better! The food is incredibly delicious, and the service is excellent. Special thanks to Aman paji for bringing back the authentic Punjabi flavors that I loved so much. Highly recommend!

I recently visited Mumbai Wala for dinner and had a fantastic experience. I was thrilled to meet Aman bhai, who previously owned Punjab Junction—a place I used to visit often for their authentic Punjabi food. When Punjab Junction closed, I really missed the flavors, but I was excited to discover that Mumbai Wala is his new restaurant. The food here is absolutely amazing, just as I remembered, and the service is top-notch. Special thanks to Aman Bhai for bringing back those beloved Punjabi dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and excellent service!

Great atmosphere, came for my mother's birthday and she had a great time. Amazing food. Drinks could be better. Live entertainment was great, karaoke-esque but overall a wonderful time. Big kudos to the singers.

Location is in the worst place no parking outside. Food isn't great and by coincidence luck the fizzy drinks served were flat! never going back. Walls and ceilings are broken and rotting too.

We came here out of the blue and the staff was so friendly and helpful with our order and very professional. Food was absolutely delicious. Drinks from the bar were yummy! Thank you very much!!!!!

We had an overall good experience. Good Food and Good Service. We had vegetarian food - Malai Soya Chaap, Chili Garlic Mogo, Tripple Schezwan Rice, Kadai Paneer and Butter Nan. Apart from the Chaap everything was good. Loved the Kadai Paneer. They have also onboarded Aman (previously with Punjab Junction) who is an amazing Host.

Went on opening night on thursday..new partners. With live singers. Food service was a bit slow they were busy though. Food itself was very good and tasty. Not too spicy. We had fish lamb chicken dhal and saag. Very friendly and attentive waiters. Owner very attentive and friendly. Definately go back again

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant and felt like the owner was just not interested in maintaining a good reputation. He was getting annoyed at our requests. The Restuarant is dated and requires refurbishing. Clearly not acceptable.

Owner of the restaurant himself was very rude and not welcoming for their customers..bad quality and bad service. "As i am not able to reply your answer I would like to add it in this one. Firsly, we did not asked for the discount and secondly while ordering we were discussing to share in between two people only NOT 6. If you don't know than ask to your colleague who was taking the order. If you think your customers are lying then you don't know how important is to satisfy and clear confusion of the customers in good manner which is not clearly mentioned on your menu."

Behaviour of the owner is too rude. Doesn’t know how to speak with customer. No clarification of the food items in the Menu & when you ask for clarification they just speak with you rudely. Not satisfied at all. Went out of the restaurant without even eating anything there.

Not a good dine in experience. It's only good for online ordering. The food was so so. We went for dinner, there was a party going on in the adjoining hall, where people were having karoake/dj, there was no door so we could hear everything, very loud and not so pleasant. We were seated on a table placed in the passage and close to the bar, where used glasses from the drinks were being kept. Every other minute, we could hear the conversation between the waiters asking each other to take the garbage out/orders, etc.. No privacy, it felt like we were eating in the restaurant's kitchen.

Had a lovely Karoke night last Tuesday at Mumbaiwalla. The owner and the entire staff made it a pleasant experience in every sense of the word and the food was up to the mark. Sure to visit this place again !! A great evening all told!!

Yesterday our big group visited Mumbaiwala at Harrow !! Omg the place the environment, extremely friendly helpful and polite staff we found!! The owner himself was going around tables making sure all guest feel comfortable and enjoying. We ordered all vegetation dishes we enjoyed each items, wow the taste is still slurping in 😀 Absolutely happy go kitchen staff, i ran out my battery and they were so kind to let me charge their own! Found they do karaoke nights every Tuesday and fridays!! Happy place , happy environment snd delicious food ! I’m already planning my next visit

We dined at Mumbaiwala last night and what a lovely meal. The food was excellent the service superb and the entertainment was brilliant a really good night out.

Bad. Staff had no knowledge of which table is which. Very packed and food came cold . Ridiculous

The food was good, but service was very poor and late, No attention towards the customers, no coordination between the waiters and managers whilst service and billing. Not at all happy as I was hosting dozen of friends and couldn’t get required attention and service as expected. You can visit only if want to try good food but not for restaurant and service experience.

Disgusting food and no customers. I would not eat here if they offered me free food 3 times a day for a year. The owner has no clue and is super useless. The chef must be learning on the job and food has no taste and half cooked.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in London. Food was terrible, one dish was so salty that we had to send it back. Chilli sauce was off.. waiter was eves-dropping in our conversation. Cocktails weren’t very nice. Too expensive for the quality of food and drinks served. Dated interiors. Shame that such a massive venue is going to waste. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.

Very good Indian food. The meal offer is really good and all the dishes of the meal are awesome. We tried a veg and non-veg meal, both were fab. The meal had a starter and main dish to select accompanied by rice and naan. We tried chilly chicken and mushroom chilli in started, it was yummy a superb indo Chinese preparation. The price for the meals are also very reasonable and the quality and quantity as well good. You should try if you looking for a good indian meal or indo Chinese food.

The hospitality is immaculate along with the food especially the Tawa fish and Double Tadka Dal.

Very tasty.Vegetarian options. This Indian restaurant has only been open a few months. I can see some older Google reviews must refer to the previous occupants; this was Taste Of China and the section 'what would you recommend' reflects this as it only lists Chinese dishes.

Service is very slow . Gave as passion juice had gone off . We had a number of shots at the bar . As we were leaving the bar the lady offered us complementary drinks . They put that on the bill and refused to take it off the bill . Some didn’t pay the service charge which was more that the drinks . Not going back there

Bartender was drunk, rude and unaware of his own activity. Made some of the guests very uncomfortable.

Good Chinese food (now no more after a change in ownership! See below.) in a somewhat cramped establishment where AMEX cards are not accepted. Free parking after 6pm is available nearby & at weekends. The staff have become friendlier & the toilets are clean. 9.4.24 & now an excellent Indian restaurant serving tasty food in a clean environment & vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff & management . There is lively music 🎶 in the air & events on certain days with customer participation in a section of the restaurant for which a small fee is payable.

We had lovely food at Mumbai Wala and the service we received from Bhavesh was personable and he was very accommodating and hospitable.
