MT TUMS Cafe in Teignbridge

Was in the area so popped in for the first time for a quick cup of tea and bacon bap with a friend, firstly, what a friendly place!! Very quirky and unique, and the most reasonable prices I've seen for a while! Amazing, thank you!

Absolutely spot on for food, service, quality and price !! 👌 Dog friendly with treats available for the pooches too! Definitely be back and worth a trip for those who haven't been yet.

Had a regular and a large English breakfast. Sausage was cold there was more fat than bacon, the mushroom's where also cold and undercooked. The eggs where over cooked and the beans where so hot they burnt my mouth. The tables where dirty. Lack of hygiene all round. Response to owner, I don't know who you have refunded but it isn't me. And even if you had refunded me while I was there the review is still truthful and would still have been written the same.

Always friendly, lovely food at a great price

Food is amazing every time. Come here weekly and they always have a sausage ready for the dog too. Highly recommend

No frills cafe next to the disused railway level crossing. Popular with walkers and cyclists. Selections of food , hot and cold drinks and cakes. Can't review the food cause I only had a coffee , but will pop in again

I have had pretty much everything on there menu by now and I can't fault a thing. Best breakfast bap around. Very affordable food, always to a high standard, no matter if it's delivered or dine in. The staff are so friendly and always happy to chat. I hope they continue this great business, only thing I can say to improve, when you do a breakfast bap for delivery don't put the napkin in when you wrap it, the cheese melts to and it gets all stuck to the bread haha.

I Placed my order for a later delivery, which was timed perfectly :-) The Quality of the breakfast for the price is one of the biggest and tastiest in the town!! Cooked to my spec also, and to top it off the delivery driver was really sound !! WELL DONE MT TUMS :-)

Had a takeaway order today, hubby and sons baps were fine, mine well put it this way it went in the bin, the bacon smelled rancid like raw meat, so much so it made me gag, now I have a strong stomach but that was vile, however I had a smell of my hubby's and sons and there's was fine. Which is a shame because I was really looking forward to trying their food.

Went here after a run on the cycle path, nice staff, reasonably priced, good quality food and good indoor and outdoor options for seating.

Stopped here while cycling as it was raining very hard. The owner was really helpful and even put the heater on so we could dry out. We ordered some hot drinks which were great. This is a great little stop will visit here again.

Could this be a better advert? It says it all. 26/2 yet another visit to this strategically placed happy coffee stop. Always a lovely welcome, food is great and coffee just as welcome. Table service today to save these old legs by a lovely polite and cheerful young lady. I totally recommend this venue. You will never be disappointed. Update: 6/8/23. Just as good as ever. Large full breakfast was just superb. Egg and sausage bap and a sausage for the dawg. Quality and service just as good as ever.

Love this place . I would say this is one of are favourite places . We travel up with the dog most weeks from ivybridge. Always have a sausage for the dog. And a mt special before we head for a walk . A++++++

The food was nice, but with the bike racks being on the path and out of view, i was constantly thinking about if my bike was still there. It's the only one in the location, so there is no competition, but the price is not out of the water. Overall, it's just a normal cafe

A handy roadside cafe with outdoors and indoor seating. Handy for walkers, cyclists, workers & dog walkers. Hot snacks, nice cake (choc orange) but not so keen on the coffee (could do better).

EXCELLENT - The veggie bap (egg, hash brown, sausage, cheese) was just what was needed and the chocolate orange cake was delicious with a cup of tea. Highly recommended!!

Great little spot with plenty of outdoor and covered seating. Menu selection has something for everyone. We had a large breakfast and a veggie bap, prices are unbeatable. Great service from Dan.....will be back soon

Great place for a pit stop whilst cycling. Lovely homemade cakes & gorgeous fluffy scones. My boys love the bacon rolls too & the tea & coffee are good.

This is a great stop off for coffee and a snack on the Stover trail between Kingsteignton and Bovey. The Bacon baps are exceptional. There is some covered seating should the the weather be damp. Also has a loo.

Dog friendly and a perfect spot for a post wall pick me up bacon bap. The staff are really friendly and caring. The couple next to us were enjoying home made cake and said it was incredible. A fantastic pit stop, make sure to show your support and check them out!

A Devon gem! This cafe is a great stop off for walkers and cyclists. There is a small amount of parking for a couple of cars too if you were driving by. Ample outdoor seating and some tucked away under shelter if needed. Always a great service, fantastic prices and good hearty food. A big thumbs up from me.

Absolutely fantastic little spot! Hidden off the main roads but massive character. Seating outside and some under shelter, with usb plugs for power too! Food is excellent, very well priced and big portions - we stopped for two mornings for breakfast and the owner is lovely. Well worth a stop by!

Nice stop off for a cuppa and cake (awesome Rocky Road), if you're walking / cycling the Templar Way. They also do bacon rolls, burgers and sandwiches, smelt nice but didn't have one, seems quite popular which is usually a good sign.

Stopped by for a quick lunch on a Sunday, and their MT Tums Special did not disappoint! Lovely breakfast style burger, perfectly cooked chips on the side. Super friendly service, highly recommend 👍🍔

My normall location was shut so tried this the man serving was very friendly and the food was served quick with a smile the food was nice but I have had better sausages
