Mr.Rice in Falkirk

For many many years i order the same thing from a takeaway so moving to a new address i tried Mr Rice and ordered my usual special thick noodle special chow mein with a portion of chips , wow it was stunning and the best ever , thank you , honestly it was superb

The food is absolutely spot on. Had from here a few times now and the food has always been roasting. Food is bursting of flavour and the portion sizes are unreal for the price. The staff are so friendly and great at what they do. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. 10/10!

First time eating here. Will definitely be back. Food was lovely and fresh. Ordered the salt and chilli chicken chow mein. Oh it was delicious. Chicken balls were not really heavy dough too which some others are. Cash only so make sure you take some with you to pay. No cash machine beside it if you forget. Can't beat it for the price

Got a takeaway last night it was lovely when she took my order she said do you want a bag so when anyone is going for a takeaway take your own bag

Love Mr.Rice And the lady at the counter is a magician. Place is always busy with walk ins and calls and the lady is always so nice and doesn't miss a thing. Food is fab, all my orders have been fresh and tasty. All in all a great wee takeaway, good food and friendly staff.

Good quality and quantity, cheapest you can get for Chinese.

Ordered special curry and fried rice and sent out special fried rice. On same order my wife ordered bbq sauce and fried rice and they sent boiled rice and sweet and sour sauce. Then phoned to see what happened and guy asked us to hold and then forgot that he done so and left us hanging on so eventually hung up. Never had an issue before when it was Canton House. Not willing to rectify mistake so said we could get a free order next time which still leaves us with food we didn’t ask for. Will be going elsewhere in future. Sorely disappointed ☹️

Canton House has changed hands and is now called Mr.Rice. The food is of a better quality than the average Chinese takeaway using less bland ingredients. We did enjoy the food. One thing, remember to order your rice as you don't get the prompt "boiled or fried'.

Ordered chicken fried rice and pancake rolls. Tasteless and very dry. Will not be back

Got chic fried rice, the chicken was overly salty unbelievably salty...chips and sauce was ok.... shame really as staff and delivery driver are brilliant...I really enjoyed the free spring rolls lol

So glad new owners have taken over. Fast, friendly service...food is delicious!!!

We've been going here for years. Food used to be consistently good; fresh and tasty. Since being taken over, you wait a very long time for delivery and the food is really poor quality; either super salty or completely tasteless. Our food all got binned it was so bad. Will not be back.

Best Chinese by far in the area! Alway get chicken curry and shredding chilli chicken! Salt and chilli chips! Outstanding been going here for over 10 years now!

Chow main was great but curry is too thick

Food was good but cash only was a bit of a set back, especially this day in age.

Got a chicken fried rice takeaway, alarm bells rang straight away as it came in a polystyrene kind of tub which the lid kept popping open. Wasn't just chicken and rice inside, mixed in with it was pieces of a rubbery kind of, well, not sure really, I hope it was ham, spam, but it was horrible. Not good at all, after a few mouthfuls I binned it.

Ordered a chicken curry and it was more like chicken soup absolutely tasteless and watery

The food is excellent however I only gave it four stars because the front shop is pretty awful, no heating and a door that never shuts properly so there's always an evil draught, if they fix that I would quite happily give it 4 stars.

Great takeaway, good service, and a dependable menu.

Phoned for a takeaway at 5-55 the night got told it would be 40 mins so I waited over a hour and I phoned again was told it was on its way still no takeaway so I phoned to cancel and she said it was on its way about 15 mins later the guy bangs on the door l said I have been waiting cancelled it he was rude to me so I will not be going back to canton house 👎👎
