Just had lunch here, 2 styles fried chicken, kimchi pancake and yuzu hot tea with lemon. I’m a big foodie and everything was absolutely delicious!! They also sell their own kimchi ❤️

Rice bowl and Korean cheese corn dog is sooo delicious

The best place for Korean food! Let me talk about it more. I’m a regular customer, and since I’m a student, I love to get this as a treat after assignments. Staff are so kind in-store and even through delivery will leave very kind notes that I love! Regarding the food, I regularly order two main things: the chicken katsu curry and the cheese corn dog. The katsu curry is perfect! The chicken is very juicy and melts in your mouth, and the rice is just the right amount of fluffy and filling. The cheese corn dog is also amazing! It’s very big compared to other corn dogs sold elsewhere which I really enjoy, plus the cheese pull is great. Previously, I had the tuna mayo kimbap and it was also fantastic! The tuna felt very juicy alongside with the seaweed and the rice, so I think this is also very good and filling. Overall, this is my favourite place to eat out. I would 100% recommend for everyone to try!

My order arrived to me hot and nicely packaged.The yangnyeom chicken was sweet, savoury, spicy and packed full of flavour - literally mouth wateringly good! The jajangmyeon had little chunks of pork and kimbap fillings and rice were fresh - so everything was very tasty. Stir fried pork/bulgogi kimbap with a bit of sesame oil is the best, and these guys do a great job of it. ☺️ Korean food can be quite pricey, but however much I spent here was totally worth it and I hope to order again soon! Located in New Malden so of course it's good - not too far from H-Mart, Seoul Plaza etc which is where I would purchase my ingredients back when I cooked more and blew myself away with my own restaurant quality kimchi jigae. As somebody who loves cooking Korean cuisine - Mr. Kimchi gets 5 stars.

Came to the restaurant as a group of 6 people, and there was plenty of space for us so it was great. Very welcoming and comfortable place, fairly quiet too so did not get disturbed while eating. Food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering so very fast, and the flavours were just right, I had the Korean Fried Chicken with rice and it was perfectly cooked, and the sweet chilli sauce was amazing. I will definitely come back again and recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet.

The best spot for lunch in New Malden!

Went with my partner to grab some quick lunch. We both had the Korean corn dogs, we had the mozzarella ones, one with corn flakes and one with potatos. They were amazing, very filling and will be coming back. Staff were all super nice and would definitely recommend this place. They had a loads of different food and it all looked very delicious.

We have had several deliveries and have yet to visit. To judge by the food and delightful messages sent with it, it will be worth the wait. Not often a delivery makes you feel special but this does. Heartily recommended

We looked at the reviews of the restaurant and the overall score was 4.7 stars, we thought it would be delicious and cheap, but when we arrived we realised how expensive everything was. So if you plan to spend your money for a delectable meal then this is not the place. The staff were quite nice though. My family wanted to try the bibimbap, though when it arrived her dish wasn’t even cooked correctly. It is supposed to have a heated bottom so the rice grills and becomes hot, except her dish was actually a bit cold. Also it was the most expensive dish coming in at £15 which doesn’t give your moneys worth. I would never come back and it is an Asian cash grab.

We ordered takeaway from this restaurant and really enjoyed it. Our favourite dishes were the Mix & Match Fried Chicken Rice Bowl, BBQ Pork Char Sui and the Beef Bulgogi with Glass Noodles. The food portions were good and it all arrived neatly packaged and still warm. Would definitely order takeaway from here again and I would like to go into the restaurant to try it fresh one day too.

Stopped in for food and were not disappointed. Supper fresh and tasty with lots of choice. Shame we don't live closer.

Finally, I got to have some delicious Korean food 😋 The portion size was good, and I just couldn't stop eating. I was craving good authentic Korean food for a long time, and this hit the right spot ❤️ Also, they wrote a lovely message on the carry bag and gave a free Choco-Pie 😍 I like how they added their own personal touch to customer service.

So impressed, ordered delivery and even after a 19 minute delivery, the food was piping hot and tasty!!!!

Seem The driver picked up the order but did not update or do something. My screen kept showing ‘preparing the order’ but it didn’t make sense that I am not first time to place the order why it needs to take 45 minutes to deliver especially I ordered 3 items this time.

Newly opened cafe. Very clean and pleasant service. Food was feshly cooked but was not very hot. A little pricey too! This cafe seems more involved with takeaway orders than seated customer. Which is a shame, because by the the time my wife food turned up my dish was getting cold and the side order turned a few minutes later. Yet, every delivery order was just ready to go, on the bike. Thank you very much. Despite this. The staff were very pleasant and the food tastes good too. It is a bit pricey for a cafe at around £15-20 head, mainly becuase they charge extra for toppings on the rice bibimbap. Yep £11 for rice with salad, then add your meat for £3-5 more. Worth a visit, yes it is fresh and friendly.

This restaurant is not first time to order and the delivery should be arrived around 25 mins after placing the order. When I checked the update from the app. The GPS Shows a long time staying in New Malden, then sometimes in Worple Road, sometimes in Bushy Road. It is so weird and seem suspected driver to deliver more than 1 order. Could you please check the record what happen with this situation? It is below standard and undersatisfactory.

Some of the best korean food i've tried!

Korean fast food restaurant, the food is served very quickly, and the taste is acceptable. Two girls ordered a table. The hot dog sausages/fried rice cakes/Korean spicy chicken are just average. The yuzu tea is very refreshing. I love their kimbap. And spicy cabbage fried rice!

This place is absolutely amazing!! Originally we had planned to go round and look for a nice restaurant but within a second after passing this one, we walked back towards it knowing it was the one we all wanted. I ordered the set menu that came with shin ramyun and gimbap and was so pleasantly surprised. The sweet chilli chicken kimbab was so tasty, that by itself was 1000 stars for me. Those whom I shared this food with all loved the atmosphere and staff too. Really nice people with great smiles and presence haha :>!! Oh yeah my sister ordered this lovely mixed chicken rice bowl, it was super yummy, well seasoned and perfectly crispy!!~ AND THAT KIMCHI WAS AMAZING.

I tried the new menu at the owner's recommendation. It's a combination of bulgogi and rice noodles, and it's delicious.

Food was good and quickly prepared. Managed to get my order wrong, thought I'd ordered beef with udon but they were quick to offer to replace it. Perfect portion. Lovely light airy space with cheerful staff. For those it might be important for there's no loos in the place. Certainly will return.

I ordered some dumplings and an ice coffee to take away, then stood by the side to wait for my order to be prepared. 20 minutes later I was still stood there waiting, having seen lots of other customers come and go with their orders. When I checked on the status of my order, it had clearly been forgotten about and was nowhere near ready. Thankfully I was able to get a refund, but it's a shame as I was very much looking forward to the food.

You can share a whole meal here or just get a bunch of Korean snacks to try. Either way the food is delicious, lovely to look at and a very fair price. Absolutely recommend

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal for one mix and match option! I opted for half chilli fried chicken and half honey fried chicken, and both were incredibly flavoursome. Accompanied by a generous portion of rice and a delicious side salad. To top it off, they surprised me with a delightful Korean moon pie, which was a thoughtful touch. I got it delivered, the meal arrived piping hot and fresh, adding to the overall satisfaction of the experience. Highly recommended!

The food was great. I had the Yaki Soba Sweet Chilli Chicken and the Chicken was very tasty. The sauces were also very good and I can recommend it to everyone who likes Korean food!

Great place for a quick and clean Korean food. It was a bit more expensive than the local restaurants nearby. The service was very friendly and quick. The dish is lovely, but I'm not a fan of the raw cabbage salad. I wouldn't mind a pickled cabbage, onion, and carrot salad instead? Another visit and a few more photos.

I order the tteokbokki often from Mr. Kimchi. I still reccomend the tteokbokki because it is a good size and taste too. Please add the desert to delivery options. However, in my last order, I noticed the Kimbap I usually also order had been changed,, the packaging is smaller and the Kimbap was also smaller too. It is disappointing because in the past, it used to be much more delicious~ This is the recipe for 'Fiery Chicken Buldak Roll Kimbap' I am not a fan of hotdogs but I have had it twice from Mr Kimchi. The cheese arrived in good condition. 솔직히 카츠카레늴 없다,, YOU ARE THE ONE THAT YOU LOVE

I was stuck in a lot traffic after work so I decided to go to New Malden to wait it out. I went to try Mr Kimchi as I was craving for a nice Korean hot meal. I ordered the mixed fried chicken and it’s superb!!!Serving was also generous and nicely presented. The kimchi was also good. The service was also commendable. The store was clean and bright! Prices were also reasonable. I will definitely recommend and come back to try a different menu.

Authentic, good price, good portions - would highly recommend. Place is clean too and puts care into delivery orders (packed well). Great for grabbing a quick bite or eating a larger meal. They have it all!

Been there today to grab a kimbap since it’s the most convenient meat free option there for me (hopefully it’s meat free because I am cutting down on meat). And dang that shxt good! I didn’t expect to like it that much. There was quite a bit of it in the box, and I liked it better than the H Mart one for sure also because it’s freshly rolled. Would go there again just for that. And will get the vegan kimchi to try too!

Had some Korean fried chicken here the other day. It tasted nice, but was barely warm to the touch, and served to our table in less than 5 minutes from ordering, in an empty restaurant, so I can only assume, it wasn't fresh and just thrown in the microwave for 30 seconds. The service was good, and the place was very clean and looked nice. Unfortunately, just let done by the food.

A cozy Korean restaurant. Good for a quick meal

One of the best Korean fast food eateries along this stretch of New Malden. The interiors are clean and well maintained. Slick service and disciplined staff. We ordered their Buldak spicy chicken bulgogi.. wow! Such flavorful strips of beef in beanpaste and hot pepper marinade! So tender!!! , Their Korean sweet soy chicken with glass noodles are pretty mouthwatering. Added a side order of dumplings and fried squid and their signature fermented spicy kimchi. Ther menu has an interesting selection of Korean street food options - spicy soup and fried noodles, Korean corn dogs - filled with cheese and sausage, then coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, bibimbap with a variety of vegetables and topped with a fried egg. Korean rice bowl combos. Go visit their refrigerated display of sauces, kimchi and bimbap rolls. Affordable, Highly recommended for an evening’s take away

The restaurant is simple, nice and clean. Menu has some good variety. Both the sweet chili and honey chiken and rice bowls were amazing, the chiken was great and had a good ammount but not too much rice with it. The bowls both came with a salad on top of the rice which was very nice and crunchy. we also got some complimentary kimchi which was very tasty and went well with the food. Overall a nice and quite filling meal would greatly recommend for a quick meal as all the preparation was also very quick.

It was tasty! I guess I will order again from time to time. I have a preference for milder flavors compared to others. Though there was kimchi, it wasn't much spicy. Just the right hint of spice! Tip: Gim --> meaning that Seaweed Bap --> meaning that Sticky Rice Gim == Kim, Bap == Bab The occasional variation in spelling likely depends on the writers. I think the taste of kimchi may seem bland to Koreans. There was quite a bit of meat, and it was delicious anyway.😋

After eating there for the first time a few weeks ago I can’t stop thinking about the food. Have so far always taken away but recently got it delivered and all times the food is delicious but I have only had the same thing each time (mixed chicken rice bowl) but I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. The staff are so extraordinarily courteous. The food is delicious. There is so much I want to try and am SO glad we have a Mr Kimchi in New Malden….might go there tomorrow 😋

Mr Kimchi is a great new Korean restaurant that is perfectly suited for a quick take away bite or eating in and relaxing. You can almost treat is like a café in which you can really take your time with you meal and relax while doing some work or socialising. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very attentive with an infectious smile on their faces. The food is freshly made to order and packed full of flavours. When eating in, you’re given complimentary sides like kimchi and pickle radish which acts as a small starter or a palette cleanser. The food portions are surprisingly large for each main meal. You will be quite full with just one bowl of noodles or rice. This is always the desirable way to end your meal when you eat out. I left feeling very satisfied and knowing the food was genuinely worth the price. New Malden is a Korean food heaven, offering plenty options for everyone’s taste or preferences. Mr Kimchi is a bright spot in what is a competitive high street. Being a fairly new restaurant means there will be a lot of curiosity and you will not be left disappointed.
