Brilliant service. The guy with the fire mullet was really nice and the chips came VERY quick.

Crispy chips from a fish & chip shop!

So I called into the shop to place my order based on glowing reviews on Google.I live in Chesington and search for the best fish and chip shop in the area based on reviews this one came up top of the list. I do have some trepidation when the reviews are so glowing but decided to give it a try I was not disappointed a very warm welcome from served on time within a minute at a very busy time for them which is a great sign the fish with crispy and very grease free the chips were also crispy fluffy in the middle. I don’t think there is any room for improvement they have mastered their trade. Five stars from me well deserved I will be coming back

good overall, the fish bites were big but mostly batter which was a shame but the scampi was good and the chips goods too. thx

Despite ordering the food an hour before it was requested to be delivered, it arrived 30 minutes late. Everything else was fine.

Fish n Chips or Pie n Chips, have never been disappointed, only in the area after racing at Sandown Park, but able to heartily recommend

First time using this takeaway after my regular place not taking orders. Other reviews tempted me and I will be staying. The fish was amazing. with lovely light batter, the small portion of chips was huge. Best of all home made tartar sauce.

Ordered a large cod to share as they're so big; beautifully crisp batter with good chunky cod. Large portion of chips easily did three of us with some to spare and the jumbo sausage is just that. Great quality and arrived piping hot.

It’s my first time having fish and chips from here. It’s actually one of the most decent fish and chips I’ve had in this area. The service was good as staff were friendly. The fish and its batter was good. The serving is good especially the chips. Pricing wise it was also reasonable. Really enjoyed the food! Will come and buy again.

Always great food and value for money. However you prefer your food the fantastic friendly staff are always happy to adjust how they cook your order. For example, our family prefer Chips extra crispy. Also, separate fryers used for Fish & Meat and non Meat/Fish items (we have vegetarians in our family).

Back from a day in London, we were looking for fish and chips. We found you guys and what a meal. Back in Holland (fishtown Katwijk) they don't serve the fish like you did. Yours was full of flavour and fresh. Really loved it. The homemade sauce was really tastefull no aftertaste or what so ever. The Dutch could learn from you 😉 thanks for this sensation.

Bought large cod and small chips ( not really small) for £12.40. The price is ok. Large portion could feed 2 people. Highly recommended.

Food today was extremely poor….we order from here alot and the food is usually great, recently though the quality has been declining and today it was shocking. Chips tasted awful, like old burnt oil & the cod was over cooked dry and chewy, it was all inedible and went in the bin!

First time ordering from here chips were frozen not fresh were not cooked properly Also fish was dry will not be ordering again

Passing through Chessington on our way to Kingston, fancied a Fish and Chips. Went to The Marlin, best thing we did. Absolutely delicious. The fish was big, the batter was thin and crispy and the chips were thick cut and cooked to perfection. The tartare sauce was homemade and out of this world. Will be back the next time on passing through! 5 stars much deserved.

The chips were fine. The cod was over cooked and inedible. Very disapointed as we can only afford take away occaionaly these days. We feel this needs to be refunded on this occassion.

Not up to the usual standard. Chips tasted stale/overcooked. Cod Roe was perfect though. Strange as usually consistently good chips from the Marlin.

really good fish and chips always piping hot all cooked fresh to order we have family who travel 20 miles just to have their fish from here because it is so good. Staff are all lovely too!

Perfect. 14th October early evening 1st ever visit found all to be excellent. Light medium battered cod in nice flakes, loads of chips all hot enough to last a 15 minute walk back to short-term home. Well priced. Front of house guy was all smiles & respectfully very kind & helpful to some non-English speakers. For something so ordinary it was a lovely positive experience all round.

The food from the marlin is always top quality. The chips portions are huge so keep that in mind. It's not a negative but they will at least feed two or more.

Excellent quality. They clearly take pride in their business. Not too oily. The chips aren’t the best out there but still nice and edible. The fish is lovely. Two large battered cods and one large chips will set you back £24 [March 2023]. The staff are friendly and the place looks clean.

Went in this evening while it was quite busy with a friend. Both done orders one after the other. Received are orders in a quick turn around. Got home to realise our orders had been mixed together and a couple of bits missing. After speaking over the phone. I was quickly told to return to the shop to sort it out. On arrival I was given a prompt refund. The service is great here even though slight hiccup I would highly recommend these guys. Great all round and very quick to sort out any problems with a smile. Highly recommended. Would 100% go back to these guys again.

I often come here when low on energy or just fancy some nice seafood. Never had any issues and visit around once or twice a month.

We're regular customers because you're not gonna find better fish and chips for miles. Absolutely stellar, mouth-watering food.

Never any problems, never have to wait for it, and its my little treat after a hard days work. Having eaten at all the fish and chip shops around the local area, this one is in my top 4. They could tell me what sauces they have on offer when I order as I normally forget this and tartar sauce would always improve the experience. Also glad they use paper bags so again good.
