I been to way too many to Jamaican restaurant from London to up birmingham to south west. This restaurant hit different. The food so fresh, authentic, delicious and they are so generous with the food!! 💯💯💯

If you've ever tried food that's been described as 'authentic' and you've been disappointed, then you really need to try Mr P's. Everything from the food, to the customer service is as authentic as it gets. My particular favourite from here is the brown stew beef with rice and peas. It's by far the best I've ever tried.....anywhere! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

What can I say? It’s been a long time since I’ve tasted some homemade Jamaican cooking that tasted proper. The minute I walked in, Mr n Mrs P made me feel right at home! From when I walked through the door to when I tucked in at home, it felt like love and effort had been poured in to the experience. Didn’t expect a carribean in Redditch; let alone it be this wholesome and good, still can’t believe we have them. Well worth meeting them and eating from their restaurant. Big love Mr and Mrs P!!

Went there on the spur of the moment and was very impressed. Staff were so friendly and the food was cooked fresh. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back. Nearly ended up adopting the son 🤣...super cute! All in all, a place to be revisited ❤️.

Tried this place out after reading some good reviews and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Fresh cooked Jerk Pork and Rice n Peas was just stunning .Having the Jerk Chicken tomorrow..looks as lush as the pork. Really welcoming owners and staff as well ...Will be using regularly from now on.

Goat curry was the best I’ve ever tried and the man & lady owners were so so lovely, really looked after myself and my friend .. she made us our own special drink too! We came all the way from Stratford it was well worth the drive to get some delicious food, can’t wait to try more things from the menu. Also the portions are so so good my goat curry was enough for my lunch then mine & my daughters dinner.

Me and my mum just had our dinner from here. When we came to collect it, the people at the counter were super friendly and welcoming which was lovely. We ate at home, but from what i saw the inside was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was nice too! I had the jerk stack burger with fries- best burger of my life! It smelt incredible and taster even better, the chicken was juicy and smokey and even the fries it came with were irresistible. My mum had the curried goat, she said it was beautiful so i had to try it; again, the meat was juicy and the flavour was immaculate! We were so stuffed we couldnt finish the dumplings we ordered, which (obviously) were also delicious. Over all, the proportions were good, everything stayed hot, the food is delicious and flavourful, and the price was great too! I think we payed about £20 for everything! 1000/10, ill be recommending this place for the rest of my life!

Maps location was wrong for us, just drive 30 seconds more and you'll see it on your left. Ordered jerk chicken and curry goat. Food was amazing - well seasoned and cooked, and very reasonably priced. Coleslaw was awesome and interior was really nicely designed. Shop owners were lovely, I didn't catch the ladies name but she was great. You should definitely try the jerk chicken!

I would defiently recommend the mushroom curry. Astomphere frimdlyness is unbelievable . Would 100% to anyone.

Food is absolutely delicious, it's always hot and really great portions. Not to mention the flavours, I crave it when I haven't had it for a while. This town has had a bare minimum of soul food takeaways and I have tried them all, this is on a level! Always polite and lovely customer service aswell! 10/10!!!

Popped in with a few lads while on shift at work, the staff were very friendly, put music on for us made us feel very welcome, and the food was incredible, highly recommend the brown stew chicken.... so much flavour!!

My 1st visit on Tuesday. I've had Caribbean food in London, aldershot, Reading and all over. I had jerk chicken rice n peas, fried dumpling plantain on Tuesday night. The food was stunning. Chicken that tasted like chicken. Amazing. I brought curried goat for the following night as Mr.P's close Wednesday. Again great melt in your mouth meat. Stunning. The people that run the shop were so warm and friendly. A pleasure to deal with. I was given a piece of fried chicken whilst waiting for my food , once again great food. I'd highly recommend this place. Many thanks!!

I’ve never had any complaints about Mr P’s food. A regular weekly customer and could not fault Mr and Mrs P’s food or their customer service. Warm friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. The food never disappoints with large portions every time and served pipping hot. Great authentic interior that tops off the overall Jamaican experience. About time Redditch had a decent Jamaican food shop.

Lovely food and reasonable prices

The first time I have eaten curried goat, rice and peas with dumplings. I was not disappointed with this restaurant. This was a delivery, it was piping hot, good portion size and totally delicious. We were so pleased I called the restaurant to say thank you. We will be ordering again and totally recommend.

Myself and my partner chose this lovely little place for our early valentines night. So glad we did - food was absolutely delicious, the portion sizes were perfect and the staff went above and beyond. I’d definitely recommend dining in - the earthy atmosphere and decor is so relaxing and super creative, and the music was just the cherry on the top. Love that it’s based in Batchley - it was like stepping into some hip London scene. Really enjoyed our evening… Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back.

Honestly the best food in town and the West Midlands! Super friendly and welcoming establishment. The interior design is warm and so creative. Lovely family run business, cannot beat the divine flavours and big portions for a great price. Mr. P’s truly deserves to blow up big all over the Uk.

Honestly the best Caribbean place in Redditch food is all well seasoned, portion sizes are more than generous and the festivals are the best I've ever had in my life as well as the coleslaw, jerk chicken and curry goat nothing could be faulted not to mention as the food got delivered the gentleman put the food into the house not on our doorstep and was very polite. 10/10 I look forward to ordering from you again

Eaten here a few times now. It's only been open a month, and the Google maps page wasn't active until recently, so I couldn't review my first meal. But both times the food was fresh, very big portion size and delicious. The staff are super friendly, and I'll keep going back to them, can definitely recommend them :) not sure what the other review was about.... The other option is for the "Sandwich Maker" to be back there, and for Batchley to be back without decent food....

Food wasn't the best, didn't get the order right. Starting up and doesn't have all food on the menu. Asked for a chicken burger and got a beef burger with out the chicken.
