The fish was just about okay but they never cooked their chips correctly always half cooked and some were green! tried their fish and chips twice,there wont be a third time.

I had a disappointing experience with my recent order from Deliveroo. I ordered fish and chips with peas and tartar sauce. Unfortunately, the tartar sauce had opened and spilled inside all the boxes and into the bag. Despite paying for the sauce separately, it created a mess and affected the overall enjoyment of the meal. While I understand that mishaps can occur, it would be advisable for them to securely tape the sauce container, similar to how they tape the boxes for the fish and chips.

It must be close on ten years that I have been coming here. It never disappoints. The fish is always moist and tasty. It is cooked for restaurant patrons fresh each time not served from the takeaway counter batch. Highly recommended and not as dear as some other places.

During my recent visit to Mr Fish, I had the pleasure of trying their fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden batter that wasn't greasy. The chips were seasoned just right, and the portion sizes were generous. The service provided by Chelsea was exceptional, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Mr Fish in QP for a memorable fish and chip experience.

I asked a medium cod and chips and it was a reasonable size. The batter was very light and tasty. The chips were also good. Service was impeccable, the girl who served us was very polite and professional, she could fit very well in a 5* restaurant! The place is clean and tidy.

The food is hit and miss at this place when I ordered for delivery you never know what your gonna get. The chips are full and fluffy usually however on occasion they have turnt up soggy and over cooked I.e brown/black like they’ve been re-fried and dried out. The chips is the best thing about this place. It just doesn’t always turn up fresh

Was in there yesterday friday evening ordered 2 sausage and chips and the chicken fillets it say on menu be garnish wit coleslaw salad waited about 30 minutes got 2 little bits of chicken in a big box when got home no salad with it .cost over £11 not good

Had lunch with a mate at Mr fish today. As I came in was greeted by a gentleman who seated us but did not want to seat us on our preferred seats. I would completely understand if it was busy but we were literally the only customers there. The lady who served us at the table was absolutely lovely and friendly. Coming to the food we ordered the lunchtime special and a few sides. The fish was absolutely bland, with absolutely zero taste and the chips had definitely been sitting there for a while as they were completely tasteless and the potatoes tasted off. For a shop voted according to their advertisement as the best fish and chips in the area, I was very dissatisfied with both the food and service.

Best fish & chips in London. Writing as a Northerner, so know what I'm talking about... Good size portions, excellent chips, curry sauce & mushy peas, what more could one need?

We were served raw chicken, they replaced the chicken with MORE raw chicken! Despite this the customer service was good but would definitely not eat here again!

Great place and great food BUT they ALWAYS forget our mushy peas whenever we get take away!!! Every time!!! We always get home to find the mushy peas we’ve ordered and paid for missing. So, if you ever get take away from here, double-check the contents of your bag before you walk out.

Extremely large portions (even for US standards). Got the mixed platter for two, I liked the white tail, mushrooms, scampi, and calamari (in that order). Also got the large Haddock with fries and Cod with potatoes (not pictured). Everything fried came out piping hot and no sogginess which was great to see. The Haddock was firm and full of flavor and the Cod was buttery and flaky. Tartar sauce came in a condiments squeeze bottle too which was awesome since I love a lot of tartar sauce. Fries were normal fries.

They have quite the cheek to charge for ketchup and mayonnaise. Especially since it’s off-brand and not home made.

The fish was covered with Lot of Batter. Large fish looked like Small. Chips were very small Pieces in small portions. Service was terrible. Staff had to be reminded TWICE to bring me sauces which were part of the price I paid. Manager was in office but NOT available for comment on Horrible food and staff with frown faces had to serve. Terrible service and needs to be improved definitely.

Fish is very fresh and tasty but the chips are old and average at best. It is overpriced as well.

We had spicy cod and spicy stale, both are so delicious! My favourite one is spicy stale because it has different taste (thanks to the waitress who recommended this menu) all of the staffs are very friendly too. The sitting area is comfortable and spacious.

In the neighborhood of our Airbnb, here for a few months and a bit tummy tired from some pretty fantastic dining days, we stopped in here for a simple lunch. We were planning on take out but a table was available and the room light and bright so we ate in. Was not expecting so many types of fish which were offered battered, breadcrumbed or grilled. We opted for the battered haddock which was excellent - really delicious. I ordered the avocado, tomato, red onion starter as bd what a happy surprise! Cubes of avocado m, tomato and red onion served in a large ice cream sundae dish. It was pretty and silly and a party in your mouth! The dressing was incredible. Our server was incredibly nice and the overall experience a pleasure. We’ll be telling our Airbnb host to recommend this place to future guests as they also do take out and delivery and their right across the street from the Queens Park station on the Bakerloo.

I ordered the cod fish and and a plaice large the cod fish came and it looked like actually leftovers the bag from the delivery was already torn but I thought it was from the cold soft drinks but the Pepsis were warm if not hot :) in the package from the plaice was also a big whole like it got wet from something I spent for this 50£ and I don’t care about the money really but this is undignified I would be ashamed serving this and messing with peoples food

Normally come here to eat regularly but the other day the team wouldn’t let me drink the Coke can I bought in and implied that I had to spend an additional £3 to buy their Coke cans as “outside drinks were not allowed”

Fish was fried to perfection! (Chicken is too.) One of the best fish & chips we’ve ever had. We also really like the whitebait appetizers. This place is a hidden gem!

Das Essen kam relativ schnell und der Bestellvorgang war recht einfach. Über das Essen gibt es aber Redebedarf. Der Chickenwrap war sehr unregelmäßig belegt und schlecht zu essen. Der Fish n Chips war gut, aber wie bei dem Chickenwrap waren die Pommes eine Katastrophe. Sie waren kein bisschen knusprig und haben sehr wässrig geschmeckt. Insgesamt hier mein Fazit: Man kann schon dort bestellen, aber auf keinen Fall die Pommes sondern stattdessen vielleicht einen Salat.

Highly unprofessional individuals appointed as manager who have zero knowledge of customer service. We have been a fan of the restaurant for years but a terrible experience with a staff member, who frankly should not be employed by anyone in a customer facing role, has changed our outlook.

Firstly the food was great . No complaints what so ever , the service however is another story , the English speaking worker handled my order great. BUTT!!! The indian lady that clearly struggles to speak english had me standing there while she double counted money that had been counted by the previous english worker . I can say maths is also not her strong suit as she had to count the money 6 times before confirming it is correct. I hope she is put in the back and not at front dealing with customers as she does not know what on earth is going on around her.

I bought a regular portion of chips for £4.20! The service was quite slow. A small portion of peas were an extra £1.25! I know things are expensive but this is taking the mick. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy but I noticed it was completely empty

Wonderful Cod & Chips … not greasy at all , super fresh , nice curry sauce … only thing I didn’t like was paying upfront in the restaurant , not sure why they do this but that’s a minor needle … go soon you won’t be disappointed !
