Not cheap but good value - great staff, comfortable seating in bar and seperate restaurant. Very welcoming.

First visit here. Staff very helpful. Food delicious. Will be back. Returned and our visit was as good as the first. Our waitress Catherine was excellent. And one of the managers (who's name I didn't get), was very helpful too.

Mowgli food is always bang on the target, plentiful, freshly cooked, tasty as. Great staff and the swing seats are so cool 😎 I had the workers tiffin, 4 selected dishes and all of them great 👍🏼

Had an amazing time with my family at Mowgli's including my mum in a wheelchair and my Dad who's very ill as well. The restaurant is easily accessible for people with disabilities. There was a bit of a wait due to it being lunchtime but the staff improvised and sorted a great table for us all. The food is excellent, lots of variety and exciting options and even some non-spicy foods for more sensitive mouths. Service was quick and the servers were cheery and attentive, even during a busy period. Overall very happy with the meal and my Mum thoroughly enjoyed her birthday!

I absolutely loved this place. Food, service, decor, and cleanliness are all perfect. Bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth a treat.

I have just left without being seated, waited only a few moments for the maitre de’s attention, which was just a look, asked for a table for two, to which he said yes and then turned his back on us to have a conversation with two other staff, after a minute or two after he turned his back on us we left This is a great shame as I know the food is excellent and I am sure this dos not reflected the image of the owner

The food is okay, okay, but atmosphere is fantastic. Although they claim the food to be authentic Indian food, it’s absolutely far from what the dish is and heavily on the sweetest side.

This was my first time visiting Mowgli at Cheshire oaks and it was fabulous! The food and service was amazing! Our server Alice was so lovely, she answered all of our questions and even gave us recommendations on all the best dishes, I would definitely recommend!

The menu is brilliant, we ordered lots of smaller dishes to try. The kids curry was lovely, and the Treacle fries were our favourite. We visited at around 5.30 on a Tuesday and was seated right away.

The place looks lovely, was our first time in Mowgli and food was delicious, amazing service, friendly staff. I would like to thank Chloe-Lou for helping us and sharing knowledge with the food.

Great food and service. While other restaurants turned us away due to the time (was an hour before closing) they said they had no problem with it.

Lovely atmosphere,the Bunny Chow was one of the best Currys for the price I have ever had,the curry was served in lovely fresh bread, which was delicious,my only criticism is that the water they serve was warm,it is bottled and left out on the bar counter, get this right and then it couldn't be falted for a very tasty meal at very reasonable prices

Very busy in Cheshire Oaks, never been before so not sure how it worked. Its similar to Tapas, small plates and variety. My grandaughter wanted to go because of the swing seats, but actually loved the butter chicken. I had the chip butty and chicken bites. The food was delicious. Waiting staff were helpful and attentive. Maybe a little pricey. Was very busy so atmosphere a bit hectic, not the right spot if you want a quiet dinner.

Dined out at the Cheshire Oaks restaurant in August. Food, Service and Atmosphere was great. We ate off the set menu which was plenty and fabulously varied - we enjoyed everything. Everywhere was clean and tidy, server was great, it was super busy everywhere due to weather and school holidays, but everything was great - loos were clean and tidy too - will definitely return

We had a lovely meal at Mowgli tonight to celebrate finishing chemo! Kelsey was a lovely server who was so kind and friendly and as always the food was incredible. Can’t wait to come back and get some more stamps in the new passport elsewhere!

Came to mowgli today as two couples. We were ended up going for the sharer menu which was absolutely to die for! If you’re stuck for what to have this is a great option. Everything that came was delicious and the drinks were out of this world! The service was spot on. Our server Chloe-Lou was great! Super friendly and very helpful! She was always checking in seeing if we needed anything and super fast with taking plates and making sure the next course was to us fast! Lovely time, thank you!🫶🏼

Don’t fall for this tourist trap – the nice decor is just overcompensating for the awful food. As an Indian I can honestly say this was some of the worst, inauthentic Indian food I’ve ever had. The flavours were barely there, the chicken dishes were so so dry, and most of the dishes were just filled with leaves, leaving hardly a couple pieces of the actual dish. Save your money and AVOID.

Our first family visit with our girls and they loved it. Special thanks to Kirsty for looking out for us when we got near the front of the queue and being so helpful in sorting us a table with swing seats :) Great food and mocktails too!

We had a lovely street food sharer set menu and we were super impressed by the way the food was served as well as the quantity! We loved the chat bombs, fries and gunpowder chicken coming together as a first course followed by the curry, rice and roti. The staff were smiley and very hospitable! Thanks for having us, we have had a lovely Friday treat.

The food was fabulous, the service was great! The only downside was the very loud pop music which seemed very out of place for a sit down meal. It doesn't really fit in with the Indian street vendor food and the decor of the place, which is such a shame.

While we've heard a lot about Mowgli over the last few years, we'd never been to a restaurant so while in Cheshire Oaks we decided to call in. To say that it was brilliant would be an understatement. Everything was fab and the food was nothing like we were expecting - the flavours were exceptional. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. Thank you 😊

Never been before, food was nice, slightly different to what I was expecting. Lots of friendly staff, however I asked for a jug of water 3 times and still never appeared!!

The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful. They say Indian and it is quoted. The quantity of dishes is very small and there is no biryani. The prices are considered high due to the small dishes. They also add a donation pound to the bill without asking permission. So make sure to delete the service and the donation from the bill.

Ordered the house lamb. All I got Half a dozen chickpeas, 1 piece of lamb the size of a tiny oxo cube and 1 piece of gristle/fat the size of an oxo cube mainly sauce. If I wanted meat free I would have ordered it. It was also cold. Staff asked if all was ok and i said not really as all i got was sauce. She said she would feed it back. £10 for 2 table spoons of sauce in a tin Absolute rip off. Do not recommend

Went for the first time yesterday with coeliac daughter, had to wait for a table as was busy but didn’t have to wait long at all. The whole experience was amazing. Daughter had a great meal and didn’t feel ‘different’ she loved it. Hubby and I had the tiffin boxes and was just divine. Had different curries in the boxes so we could share. Amaxing meal

‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubby Neil and I, on a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks. We then went for lunch at Mowgli 🐒restaurant for Indian street food…… Simply WOW!! We ordered dishes to share: *Yoghurt Chat bombs: Crisp bread puffs, filled with chickpeas, spiced yogurt, tamarind and coriander. *Bhel puri: Puffed rice with gram rice threads, peanuts & tantalising spiced sweet and sour dressing. *Angry bird: (food not me!!) Tender chicken thighs marinated and roasted in tandoori spices, yogurt, ginger and garlic, served with popped mustard Mowgli slaw. *Bunny Chow: A South African railway workers favourite! A fruity, hot, chicken and potato curry, served inside a bread loaf. We’ve never tasted anything like this before, exquisite flavours and presentation, it is definitely up there with some of our best dishes…. The restaurant is spotless and there was plenty of staff serving customers, although the place was packed, we were seated straight away, just bare in mind, you cannot make reservations. Tables with chairs were in the centre of the restaurant but around the outside again there were tables but the chairs were swings suspended with thick ropes, really unusual and quirky…. Great idea🥰 There was no waiting time for anything at all, drinks came straight away and the food comes out in no particular order, whatever dish is cooked first, that’s what you are served with, but all the food was on the table in no time at all. Staffing is very well organised….. we had a lovely server called Olivia, who was attentive, smiley and very polite, we asked a few questions in regards to the menu and she knew it inside and out, wonderful service. Will we go again….. Yes, yes and errrrrm yes!🐒🐒🐒

Mowgli Street Food: Fun Venue, Average Eats Mowgli Street Food at Cheshire Oaks is a great place for a fun and vibrant dining experience. The restaurant itself is amazing, and the swing seats were a delightful touch – something you don't see every day! The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food wasn't quite as impressive for me. While my wife found it decent, I didn't find the dishes to be particularly special. The flavors weren't quite what I was expecting for Indian street food. Overall, Mowgli is a great choice if you're looking for a unique and lively atmosphere. However, if you're after a truly mind-blowing Indian culinary experience, you might want to consider other options.

We had a wonderful time at Mowgli. Upon our visit, you are able to choose which section to sit in. We sat on the swings of course! Catherine was welcoming and very attentive. She explained everything very well and gave accurate portion sizes. This was very informative being our first visit. The food was hot and tasty, possibly one of the best curries i’ve had. We will be visiting again.

Only went because of the owner being a food critic on a certain program. The food wasn't great ...no seasoning . Which surprised me I didn't finish mine . The portions were quite small so had to go for food elsewhere after . The toilets weren't particularly clean either . And trying to get the staffs attention was ridiculous . Wouldn't go again or recommend. A little all fur coat an no knickers kind of place .

Stopped in whilst shopping, didn’t know what to expect from this take on Indian dining but had a lovely meal, the girl serving us was nice and friendly, food was well presented and nice and the place was decked out really nice. Overall enjoyed very much and the swinging g chairs were a cool touch. Would like to visit other locations when we get the chance.

Only popped in for a quick bite, my missus recommended the chip butty, what I got was not expected but I loved it.

It's not my first time in Mowgli, but the one in chesire oaks is not at all good. I understand, they have to adjust spice level according to the British culture,but atleast they could keep it authentic. This is pathetic, they have changed the entire recipe. All the main dishes we ordered were very sweet. Lamb, goan fish curry, chickpeas curry, prawns curry everything was sweet and doesn't even taste Indian !! We even returned some of the main dishes. Please if you can't keep the authenticity, don't name it as Indian cuisine. This is an insult to our cuisine. Like I said it's not our first time in Mowgli ,cheshire oaks. It's not about any personal preferences, but comparing the food we had before from the same place. You can't call it Indian cuisine if you can't keep the authenticity

There is no one that can do Indian good like Mowgli, they never fail to please. The people are fab and every visit is a sensory overload.

Amazing food. Just wow!! The attention to detail in decorating is pretty stunning too. You can sit on swing seats or normal and the food, although the choice is limited it is worth it. The workers' tin is 2 chicken curry's a veg curry and rice all for £20. You don't get a choice of which ones, but that's half the excitement. They are great for vegetarians and vegans and quite a few gluten-free options also which I was surprised at. The service was second to none. Because its a different way of ordering food, they are all very chatty and are happy to explain how everything works. Mowgli is our favourite place to go for a meal out. I would recommend it to Everyone!! Go try it you will not be disappointed.

Place looked cosy. Food was very nice. This was my 2nd time here and everything has been good. Went for a early dinner and between two people we ordered 5 dishes which was enough for us but would recommend 6 dishes if your hungry. Would go back again

Me and my friend visited for a long overdue catch up. The food was great, me and my friend enjoyed, sat in the swings etc! But mainly I’m here to say how great Kirstie was! She was super attentive but not too much that it was invasive, recommended the food to us after I asked (we were a bit lost with what to get initially!), served with a lovely, genuine smile. She just seems like the kind of human who legitimately cares about the service she provides, and just seemed like a great person in general. Absolutely phenomenal asset to your team, Mowgli as a brand and the service industry in general - and if you see this Kirstie thank you! 💕
