Morrisons Leeds - Rothwell Cafe in Leeds

I was traveling between Wakefield and Leeds on the 444 bus, Rothwell town centre looked nice so I stopped for an hour to look around and have a late lunch in the Morrisons cafe. 3pm on a warm Saturday afternoon the town and Morrison's were almost empty, people were obviously elsewhere. I ordered my favourite, half chicken with chips, salad and colsaw. The lady checked if they had any chicken, the food arrived after about 5 minute's, the cafe itself could easily seat a hundred people, there were only five of us there. The tables were clean the food was ok. The toilets were clean and excellent. No complaints.

My Daughter and i , called in for a make your own Brunch , At 99p per item , we thought it would be so good ? I ordered one egg , one Sausage ,beans and toast , My Daughter ordered similar , but tomatoes instead of beans , Neither of us are big eater's , so thought this would be enough ? we both asked for a runny egg ,as we don't like a hard yoke ! When it arrived both yokes were hard :( she took them back to cook two more eggs , leaving the rest of the food to go cold :( the contents of the food were :- a tiny sausage , a small portion of beans , the tomato was one half of a very small fresh tomato :( and one slice of toast each :( Not value for money at all !!! Very disappointed with the whole experience :( "Hence will Not be returning " ...

This is by far the worst place in Rothwell to get breakfast. The cafe itself looks grubby, stained tea pots and greasy looking trays also some of the cups have stains in them. The breakfast itself was served on a cold plate and the food was only Luke warm at best, the beans which were served in a ramekin looked and felt like they were straight from the tin.. clap cold. The bacon was undercooked and full of fat, mushroom was full of grease. Very poor

Where do I start … the trays are filthy and the cups are stained, the breakfast was cold especially the beans , raw bacon and a grease laden mushroom. Staff are also miserable.
