Very poor food quality, sausages old and withered, hash browns burnt, black pudding rock hard, mushrooms just awful. Beans been out ages by the looks of it. Chips hard, sausages hard and dry. Just awful awful food would not recommend at all.

Cold food had to be microwaved before eating

We did not receive our food and then we were messed around whilst trying to get it sorted out. We are very not happy.

Can't give a star since my order was never delivered to my address, even though according to the tracking of my order delivery status it was given as been delivered, which was patently wrong. When contacting Morrison's Cafe in Heckmondwike I was curtly informed nothing we can do as it was a just eat problem with the driver.

Half the breakfast was missing, no beans or avocados. Sausages cremated. Poor.

Egg white disgustingly runny, Bacon rock hard, mushroom cold and very wet. Beans congealed and cold, toast very undercooked but crust very hard. Tomatoes was ok. I would like to be able to say it was a one of experience but unfortunately it wasn't would not recommend and will never visit again.

The portion was tiny. 2 tiny mushrooms an uncooked tomato and beans were half full. Everything was luke warm and it had no tamper proof stickers on it. Not good won't be ordering again.

Everything was good apart from the food. Spent £3.99 for a bacon and egg sandwich, which I had to throw in the bin. Bacon seemed to be half fat/half meat, and the fat was completely uncooked, just white juicy uncooked fat. Also covered in a layer of grease which looked awful. Bacon needs to be cooked in a different way, as that was shocking.

Missing items cold food. My son wouldn’t eat it

I've given this place the benefit of the doubt far too many times. There are ALWAYS items missing but today, out 9 items, only 3 were delivered! Seriously? I understand you're probably busy, but if you can't handle orders. Don't offer the service...

What I received was not, the same as the picture.. Brownie was very hard, sandwiches were not fresh. I will not be ordering from here again. The delivery was great and on time. The delivery driver was very pleasant.

The fish tasted a little overdone, could have done with more salt and vinegar there wasn't any on it.

Not very good service at all slow service and the food was cold, normally take my nephew when I take him shopping we will be finding elseware to go

I dont think the restaurant staff can count , it says three sausages , only two when food arrived .

Second time ordering, second time something is missing

Stopped for food with my 92 year old mum. She ordered a small breakfast & got the smallest piece of bacon you have ever seen. I tried to order pouched eggs with avocado on toast, no pouched eggs as they come already cooked (WHAT) so I had scramble eggs , the toast was hardly toasted ,avocado was scraped on & off & the eggs were cold (think they come cooked too) left most of it & wont be going back. Know its cheap & cheerful but not worth it.

The food is actually nice but the service is shocking. Got my order wrong twice now. Why is this so difficult? Simply follow the order written on the receipt. No drink or breakfast sandwich

I ordered 3 breakfast items and only one item turned up and driver could not give a toss. Absolutely pathetic

The food is really oily especially the bacon, egg and beans the sausage is good and the bread but that's it that all that's good apart from that it is bad

Twice I've ordered now and both times ive had items missing. I tried giving the benefit of the doubt, I may not do so in future.

The cafe opens at 8 not 7 like it says on the website the bacon was nearly raw in places the sausages were over done the mushroom and tomato had never seen the grill and were basically taken out of the packet and put on the plate

Lots of tables, some with QR codes so that customers can order meals (menu attached) and beverages while seated. As it's inside a supermarket, it's not dog-friendly. I ordered a full-English breakfast at £5.99 (pic attached) and it was better than many I have eaten. A drink was not included in the price. The strange thing was that I couldn't see a menu anywhere, so I asked whether they served hot food at 11am. The assistant passed me the menu from the side of her till. Soft music is played in the background, allowing conversation. I will return.

My first visit to Heckmondwike and I decided to have a mid afternoon lunch in the Morrison cafe because it looked as the only decent eating place in town. The town centre is dreadful and depressing, shops are mostly closed up or bargain pound stores. Morrisons is a gem in comparison to the other stores. I went to the cafe and took a good look around and at the menu. In the end I never ate, the place was ok and looked decent but there were just so few people. As a rule of thumb don't eat in a deserted place because there is a probably a good reason why people avoid it, I just don't yet know what it is.

If you like aeroplane food then you will love Morrison's café.

Bacon cold and dried up, very disappointing 18/02/22 2pm. Must be very lazy in the kitchen serving off a bay marie

Picked my grandma up & brought her here as she hasnt been for a few yrs anyway what a disaster to say the least!! first of all on ordering no knifes or spoons or trays when asked for these things they were rushed out some still very dirty! My poor grandma was wiping hers with some tissues! Anyway aft that the 4 meals we order 2 were completley wrong which were changed but i wouldnt of bothered it took 25 mins for them to bring out when it was dead out in there! The other 2 meals that came were unacceptable even the worker there asked me were the cheese was in the toasty?? As it was asupposed to be a cheese toasty & never seen it aft that came bk again it still was not satisfactory my poor grandma used to love coming here but she couldnt wait to get out oh & the chips that came with some of the meals were full of black bits & to get black bits all pver like that the oil has to be really dirty anyway never again ill stick to the thornbury one!

Terrible experience , this was my second visit to the cafe , fist visit the service was slow and there was a mix up between vegan and full English breakfast, after making a complaint to head office they assured the staff would be retrained and things would improve, on the back of this email my spouse and I decided to give the cafe a second chance, we ordered one full English breakfast and one vegetarian, after 45 minutes we were served two full English breakfast , this was the last straw we asked for a refund and which was immediately given and we left the cafe after wasting over 45 minutes of our Saturday morning, the breakfast is on an half price offer a present how ever the food is generally of poor quality and cutlery is grubby the service is appalling we wish not be retuning to the MORRISONS cafe again.

We visited for the first time and unfortunately the last, the quorn sausages were old as was the hash brown in our full English. Very poor quality food, sad because the location is. perfect.

Not bad. £11 for 2 breakfasts. Nothing amazing, service was fast.

Very limited menu. Happy to take 3 items off my breakfast but wanted to charge for substitutes. Food was luke warm and dry, which suggests it all cooked and kept warm ready to serve. Would strongly not recommend

Found the cafe to be poorly staffed. Tables left piled with plates and not cleaned. Every time I visit the meal I want is not available and several other meals not available. Food often comes out overdone or wrong food given. I have felt ill after eating here on more than one occasion

It's good for the half price meals offer on at the moment, but waited 15 minutes to get to the till, then 57 minutes for the almost cold cooked breakfast, will not bother again as it would be nice to get a warm or even better hot cooked breakfast.

Ran out of food.had to change our order 3 times then when it came only had half the stuff on plate.

Enjoyed afternoon tea for £5 for two people will call again. Very Enjoyable.

They never have enough staff wait ages to pay at till if you self order have to go look8ng for numbers never enough cutlery out staff can be rude ! and that's before my meal arrives

The staff work extremely hard as it’s very busy for them and each and every one who has served me has been extremely professional, well done!

Shocking. Had to wait over 20 minutes to be served slimy uncooked poached eggs. I sent it back and got given the same again. What's worse is that I heard the microwave ping so they are cooked in the microwave and still can't be cooked right! The amount of people getting refunded for the wait time and complaining/ taking food back was a joke, I have never seen anything like it. I had a bad experience the previous visit and thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt... Never again.

Terrible, no cutlery, waited 40 minutes for food, and it was cold when it came. Kitchen roll for servietes

The cafe itself is decent but I cant recommend their cold sandwiches.

Go for a meal at morrisons cafe in heckmondwike at 4:30 pm the server known as danni said sorry we close at 5pm on a saturday checking online says 6pm mmmmmmmmmmm my guess they cant be bothered coffee machines never hot luke warm

Shocking food !!! Ignorent staff !!! Food Hygiene alot to be desired !! Staff licking fingers while putting cakes out .. Gippy tummy for hours after eating in this cafe ... Come on Morrisons wheres your standards .. more staff training in customer service and BASIC FOOD HYGIENE .. I wont eat OR drink there again ..
