Morrisons Glasgow - Anniesland Cafe in Glasgow City

This place should be closed down, no clean cups no napkins was told to use blue roll the breakfast was clearly cooked hours before I ordered and when I complained I was made to wait while the manager stood talking to someone on the phone. Avoid at all costs

Dreadful experience. Automatic on screen ordering, no receipt given. Ordered and paid for scampi and coffee. Neither were available after paying and sitting waiting for 15 mins. Coffee machine not working but not told before ordering and paying. Scampi not available again not told. Given fish pie as alternative served with gravy ( MEAT). Offered free coffee to compensate burt no coffee available. Used to be good for a cheap lunch not now!

I wrote a review at the start of the year, raving about the cafe. Unfortunately, I feel things have went downhill since. This is by no means a reflection on the staff - they are always very polite and helpful. It’s based more on the quality of certain things and little extras. My biggest grudge is the Kid’s Snack Box - for some reason the superhero packaging has been done away with and most recently, the items have been reduced. It’s completely lost it’s value for money and most of all, it’s appeal - my son has went completely off it! Aside from the above, it’s frustrating that the touchscreen never prints a receipt, that there are never any teaspoons in the cutlery storage and, most annoyingly, the Coffee machine pours half a cup at best. I don’t usually moan (I try and find positives where I can), but i’ve been bringing my son here for months now and I feel it’s gradually gotten worse. I’ll always respect the ‘overall’ value for money, the ‘Kid’s Eat Free’ scheme and I do like the Full Scottish Breakfast, but I do feel some changes need to be made. I take on board that the Kid’s Snack Box may have been a nationwide amendment, but it’s disappointing nonetheless.

Visited this place today 14th may 23 friend wanted sandwiches but they were selling sandwiches with date best before 12th may out of date.i review this because i caught ecoli from this same cafe on february only starting to recover slowly i find this shop lacking cleaners and food hygene dosent exist

Genuinely great value for money, especially for those with young families. I took my son out for Lunch on Wednesday and the cafe, conveniently, is just at the top of our road. In total, it cost me £8.88 for a ‘Full Breakfast’, a kids portion of ‘Chicken Nuggets and Chips’, a ‘Cappuccino’ and an ‘Apple Juice’. Kids eat for free (as long as you buy a meal over £4.99) - not many places around that offer this to be honest. There might have been a bit of a wait and the meal itself was good (but not great), but for us, the location and price was spot on and I expect us to be back many times in the future. A special mention to the staff - thought they were friendly and polite. All in all, a decent bit of food in a comfortable atmosphere.

We had 2 Scottish Breakfasts with tea which totalled exactly £11. Food was fresh, well presented and delivered promptly to our table by a very polite young lad; who, incidentally, we had just witnessed helping a frail elderly lady to a table with her order - very considerate.
