mr v’s used to be good dont know if its still same owners as a couple of years ago sausage supper wasnt fresh my son said the fish tasted funny was missing the pickles tried to call no answer definitely wouldnt order from here again

food was inedible, rubber onion rings, burnt sausage - binned

It took just under an hour to deliver one supper and a tub of curry sauce on a Sunday night. The chilli dip I ordered was out of date and the restaurant ignored my request for salt and vinegar on my supper so it was very bland. Disappointing. Won’t be ordering again.

we got a half pizza and a mince pie supper, the pie had been in the heater so long it was dried out. The chips were dry too.

The scampi was very tasty but the fish in the crunchy box was chewy & not fresh (maybe too long in delivery?)

Was dropping my grandad off at the hospital thought I'd nip in grab,a single sausage s/v and tomato sauce I asked for extra was told a charge not an issue. Lady that severed me was nice said hello and told me to have a nice day as I left. The sausage batter was like rubber and over cooked. I wouldn't suggest it but I was in a pinch and if did fill a hole

Chips were OK, but fried food was very dry and rock solid batter. I paid by card, the driver gave me my food then stood with his hand out, I said are you OK? He responded with if you like me you can give me some money. More so a just eat issue than the restaurant. But also the food wasn't great :( Overall a bad experience

Food took a while to arrive and when it did food was just warm, but it was tasty and a good portion size.

Arrived slightly early, but that suited me. Fish was a little bit greasy, otherwise very nice. Ordered large haddock supper and got two pieces of fish. Very good value for money. Would recommend.

Chips were very dry , rolls were not fresh and had a tiny bit of butter on one side, not a lot of passion for their food output, won’t be ordering again.

I ordered a half chicken supper. The chips were horrible, as if they were a couple of days old. Chicken wasn’t upto the price they are charging for it. I have ordered from this chip shop numerous times but i wont be ordering from them again.

The worst special fish supper I’ve ever had. Fish was absolutely tasteless despite having to put load and salt and vinegar on it.. really not good… and what can I say about the chips… awful, tough, cold and don’t even think I got a full sized chip. My son couldn’t eat the pizza crunch as it was so hard, total waste of money. Will def not order again from here, for the sake of saving a couple of ££ I will definitely go back to using Best chippy Hampden

Staff, owner, I think, in particular, was aggressive and rude to me while I was in the que, talking to the person in front of me. I order my chips. He banged on the counter and the see-through guard. Shouting at me! Apparently, I was talking too much! I asked several times what his problem was. He eventually shouted that I talked too much. I mean, I wasn't affecting his business in any way. The other 2 staff members, I think, were his wife and other girl . The cashier looked embarrassed and didn't know where to look or reply when I asked what his problem was. Why would you speak to someone like that, let alone a customer? I honestly was going to throw my chips back at him. It was so disappointing and disrespectful. Never giving them my money again and hope no one experiences this from that man.

They used to have nice boneless plump fish fillets now they’re selling tasteless angel cut fish which is full of bones. Had to throw most of it in the bin, they’ve raised their prices and lowered their food quality. Definitely the worst order I’ve had from them and very likely will not order from them again.

Delivery driver was so rude to my son when he pressed the buzzer my son said quite a few times 7th floor the Delivery driver was so dumb he had to phone me to ask what floor I was on the food was greasey and cold so it's a no for me I won't be buying from this takeaway again 🤬🤬🤬

Mr V's is usually my go to chippy, super fast delivery and usually freshly made food. Until tonight that is. Food was very poor. Half pizza crunch came in two quarter sizes and had obviously been lying out for some time as they were brick hard and tasteless. The chips were also dreadful - dried out and bland. Really disappointed with the food quality tonight and they forget my can of Fanta. There's a lot of competition locally when it comes to chippies so expecting freshly made food is not to much to ask. I expect better for my £25 quid so sadly I will be trying somewhere else next time.

Ordered a crunchy box - plenty of chips and they even swapped out the black pudding for haggis when I asked but that's where the good bit ends. The pizza crunch was solid and barely edible and the chips were hard. The inside of the haggis was quite nice but the outside was like cardboard - got one hamburger which was like rubber and the curry sauce was really thick and lumpy. Generally quite disappointed and wouldn't order from here again.

Usually love ordering from here. Always order 1x full pizza crunch supper & 1x half pizza crunch supper. Today the half pizza crunch supper arrived dry af and solid. Literally couldn’t even get my teeth through it. Not at all happy as you could tell looking at it that it had been lying in the range for a long time and it was quartered therefore the spares from a kids pizza crunch supper. Not up to usual standards which is disappointing.

Was told that it was late ‘because of the football’.

Chips were reheats fish not crispy enough. Won't be ordering from them again.

Delivery quick as usual! Disappointed with our order this week as the chips were so crispy and actually unedible. My sausage was lovely& fresh as usual but I did request it. One half of my partners pizza crunch was very hard also. Hopefully this is a one off as we are regulars

I would have rated lower but I've had a good experience with your service before. Please have a word with your delivery driver. When my food arrived the staple had been burst on the white bag. Then when I opened up the food there was less chips than usual and only quarter of a pizza crunch. In the past I've had more chips and more pizza. This, the staple being burst and the delivery driver being a bit weird when he arrived leads me to believe he was dipping into the food. The food was also cold when it arrived.

Sorry, but the food wasn't very nice. Special fish was absolutely tasteless. Chips were like mush with wee hard bits through them, it's as if you're using the wrong potatoes. Pizza crunch was just like eating dough covered in batter. Didn't enjoy it at all.

Had a Single Hamburger and Hamburger supper. Chips were reheats this has happened the last few times when ordered.

My new favourite place. Food is always delicious especially the haggis supper and the delivery drivers are always nice.

Fish suppers are great! They did forget the 2ltr diet irn bru, however, the delivery driver couldn't have been more helpful said he only has one more to do and would bring it. Told him to just leave it as it would've been too much hassle. Someone else from the shop brought it along with a bottle of coke, such a lovely gesture! Thank you!

The food was Great, Chips were nice as was the cook on the pizza crunch. My only complaint would be the portion of chips. Not what I would call a large portion. But others may disagree.

Always quick to deliver. I order from here all the time and never disappoints. Great portion sizes too, big recommendation.
