Just got the family meal. The amount of food was insane. Brilliant chips. The batter was so crispy on the fish and onion rings. The curry and garlic mayo was delicious. Definitely my go to chippy from now on.

Mate we payed for 2 garlic dips and didn’t get any. Asked for cod bites and very clearly got a massive fish on chips.

I'm standing here waiting for one portion of chips, it's been 15 minutes. Never again

Ordered online for pick up and came 25 mins after I ordered as I didn’t want to have to wait, ended up having to wait 15 more mins. Goujouns we’re absolutely tiny 3 wouldn’t be as big as one of the old ones and curry was slightly above room temp at best

This chippy was actually very tasty, got goujons and chips and battered sausages, would recommend. A bit expensive but maybe because that is just because its in belfast.

Got a takeaway through JustEat. Ordered a cheeseburger meal which asked us to choose a sauce thinking it would be on the side, instead was slathered in garlic sauce on the burger. The ‘meal’ was just a burger and tin of soda, no chips. The cod was weird. Tasted fine but the batter was rather hard and flat. The chips with it were soggy and greasy. Not one crispy one except the small scraps. On the plus side the chicken burger was very generous. Would likely not get another takeaway since we expected the quality from the previous chippy here but didn’t get anything close.

Delivery was late but driver was very apologetic and lovely, the goujons where fantastic, chips OK, sausages were tasty, but the pastie was burnt

Paid good money for inedible food, rang up to complain and was told a replacement meal would be delivered, still waiting...won't be back.

An excellent quality chippy with friendly and personable staff

Greasy yum yums. Good value. Tasty deep fried battered beige food. Got a batter box 2 it's great wondering what you're biting into. & a fish supper & it was too much for three of us. Couldn't be doing it too often or I'd have a heart attack, but yeah, delicious. Friendly staff too. I'm intrigued by the cheesy drip drip chip, I'll try that next time!

Batter on fish and sausages were rock hard so had to bin it all also some chips were burnt. Won't be back

The best chippy ever !!! The scampi are incrediable the chips perfect and the curry sauce is lovelly! Nice friendly staff too.

Food is excellent portions are good size staff nice and friendly value for money 2nd time getting from here definitely loads more to come x

Under New Management! Fantastic service, with friendly efficient staff. The premises were spotlessly clean with a small waiting seating area. The battered sausages and chicken goujons were excellent. The batter was just right! Chips were delicious, nice and fat! The portion sizes were generous and very good value for money. We will be back to try more of what Morris ons has to offer. Well done to the new propiertiers.

Very good chippy, went to get a fish supper and received excellent service from staff. They were friendly and quick to serve me and it was one of the best fish suppers I’ve ever had. Will be back!

Came across this wee gem of a chippy tonight, portions are huge and fish is fresh…give it a try you won’t regret it.

I’ve been here a few times since it’s changed hands and the food is amazing! The fish was delicious and chips cooked to perfection! Will be using this place for years to come!

Such a drop in quality from McCullough’s used to go twice a week and loved it for years. Just got a pastie today was soggy and tasted like mashed potato and chicken goujons were hard and lumpy. Very disappointed and won’t be back :(

I ordered a cod supper omg so bad everything was like re heated I wouldn't even give this to my dog if I had one and 12 quid never be back enough said

Only had the chicken burger, would rate it 4/10. Greasy batter and unseasoned, chicken not the best quality.

One of my locals and VERY few times do they ever disappoint. Always exceptionally friendly and the women on the till are very approachable.

Ordered a delivery of 1 fish,peas, chicken goujons meal £15. The goujons were uneatable as the batter was hard and chicken was burn inside. Parts of the fish were the same even my cat left if. Very disappointed 😞 plus I'm out £15 in the bin.

Placed an order for Fish and Chips, our pickup arranged for 4.30pm, I got there just before, and it was just bagged, took it home to the hungry family, The fish and batter were cooked to perfection crisp and delicate, delicious, the chips, plentiful and once again perfect. Looks like we have a new regular chippy. Next week I am going to try the scampi, cant wait.

My fiance and I went here for food last night. The lady and man working in the chip so were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had cod bites, a beef burger, chicken bites and a chip. All of the food was delicious and the batter was soooooo good. I would highly recommend the cod bites.

Great traditional fish and chips

Delicious food and really generous portions. The two fellas in the shop are both great – genuinely friendly and speak to each of their customers. They thank you and acknowledge you when you leave too. Also I like the way they test the food is properly cooked with the thermometer. Top marks all round.

Este es para mi el mejor fish and chips de Belfast. Totalmente recomendable. La forma de preparar el pescado es increíble. El cocinero se asegura de que la ración sea grande y esté en su punto, incluso usando un termómetro para medir la temperatura interna del pescado. El fish and chips más sabroso que he probado en Belfast. Viviendo aquí no se equivoca nadie. Lo recomiendo al cien por cien. Es mi lugar preferido

This is hands down the nicest chippy about the ormeau road, the staff are always super friendly and the food is incredible and reasonably priced. If you are looking for a chippy around the ormeau road i would recommend this place ocer any of the others..they are on just eat now so they will even deliver the food!
